he says there are no class rescrictions, and i combat that by saying that the overall classes are basically class rescrictions due to the fact that you cannot change class without having to make a new character. he says this point is stupid and makes no sense.

If they had taken the Game Engine/Graphics from Skyrim and expanded the Zones to include all of those in ESO, then yes. This would have been the perfect MMORPG game. That's what a lot of players were expecting when they heard of ESO.

That being said, ESO is a great game. The graphics are incredible. The game play is a lot of fun but would have been better with Skyrim controls. The biggest problem with ESO is lag. Lag in PVE, lag in PVP, you name it, at times no matter what your doing there's lag.

If your friend says its perfect for them, then yes it is, at least for them.

A game doesn't need to be perfect, nor can it be perfect for all players and play styles all of the time. It needs to satisfy the player more than it frustrates them. For some it may offer an escape, others a way to blow off steam, and some may be looking to satisfy a social connection that they're missing elsewhere. Just as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so is a game's perceived perfection in they eye of the player.

The game is a perfect distraction for me at this time.

If you've played mmorpgs before then this is like everything else that's come out since WoW and EQ. That's 20 years ago lol. The only refreshing and promising part of the game is the massive pvp. Imo

It's certainly the best MMO out there at the moment, in my view. I've enjoyed some others as much for a time, but have regarded few as a long-term home which is how I have viewed ESO since launch. I judge it purely for the PvE, having no interest in PvP. I think ZOS have done a great job bridging the divide between the ES titles and the WoW clones.

This will perhaps be a more controversial comment, but I can only speak as I have honestly found. I've played most MMOs from launch over the last 17 years and this one has been the smoothest performing one for me with very little in the way of bugs or technical issues.

Not even close. The game feels empty and bland to me. I think no game comes close to the original Ultima Online, before they screwed it up by adding the baby world. This game misses the mark on a lot of point that I find important in MMORPG's, it's an ok game, bout it.

Few things. One there is no such thing as "perfect". Second it's good but does need some work done but again game is only a year old and just been released on consoles most other MMOs have been out for years now and still have problems or getting good and still gaining players. Take WoW or SWTOR they been out for awhile and had alot of ups and downs and would you look at that there still around rocking it as some of the top MMORPG games. Despite WoW messing up with pandas ....... So ESO is good but not perfect nor is it bad after we get some more content and fixes i'm sure the groovy meter will start to go right into the green.

Closest mmmorpg to perfect from conception to current is hands down WoW. Not much arguing there due to success.
My personal second and the game I felt was better than WoW in several areas was GW1.
This game is easily my third and has the potential to take 2nd but I'm too new to it to tell.

You must've never played Ultima Online or EQ, of which were out before WoW and was the blueprint and IMO leaps and bounds better than WoW.
