not original but - julianos...
while you're getting comfortable with the class - might want to put on 5 heavy pieces...
vet or non-vet character?

Lots of other cheap or crafted damage and recovery sets like transmutation, sun, alteration mastery, seducer, kagrenac, torug's pact, etc.

My original that's been shelved forever (at CP cap). Currently in basic PvE has 5 Julianos, 3 Willpower, 3 Magnus with a two staff setup. Not great but it does OK with Witchmother's Brew. Nothing for pvP gear yet. Just wanted something so I could hop in even if I haven't had a chance to farm anything yet.
So impen not needed?oops, sorry @tinythinker ...i'd have told ya what you're wearing should do the trick...
Yup. Terrible at stam builds. Not great with magicka builds but still a lot better than stamina. In small to large pitched battles things are OK, but 1v1 or 1vX where I am the only target = death. Worst class for me in PvP has always been NB.have you played other classes in pvp?
My stats tend to be low, so I usually don't charge the front line or hang around in one spot too long. My characters tend to be vamp for regen and Mistform and on the Templar for an interrupt/stun with Drain.the thing I had to get over with on my mag dk wss feeling squishy in light armor, plus he's a vamp, so fire bites hard...
I ended up settling on 5 light/2 heavy...
damage output isn't an issue...i've settled on hardened armor and mistform to stay alive, when things get really bad - magma shell...
it's a little like playing a mag sorc - high risk, high reward, and stay moving

New immersive systems, mechanics, content
- Classic Elder Scrolls diseases transformed for an MMO.
- Skooma crafting with quests and a new dimension to the underground economy.
- More dynamic events (an old example can be found here) in PvE and PvP.
- Add variation in caps to mount stats according to mount type (i.e. senche have a higher max speed than guar)
- New music/themes for different zones.
- More logical/lore-friendly effort when introducing new zones in Alliance territory (here and also here).
- Add a *lot* more music and give us cutscenes
New general mechanics for more design options
Armor, weapons, crafting, and outfit ideas
- Balancing the armor types
- Collection of fun gear set ideas
- Improving Item Traits
- More fierce, unsettling, and/or ugly items
- Fun with Desgning a New Set for LA Users: Malevolent Transference
Race, Class, and Skill Line Additions/Changes
- Simple buffs for Templars to make them better at what they do. More complete set of changes for Templars to make them better at what they do. (Or at least fix Eclipse)
- A few changes for Dragonknight to make them better at what they do.
- A revised racial passive system that keeps the current theme but adds customization *or* a Background system based on race lore.
- Devotional skill lines and/or religious totems. Also check this larger idea out and my take on it.
- Fun and lore-friendly Vamp/Werewolf buffs and debuffs.
- Illusion spells that involve emotional manipulation, such as frenzy (see here and over here).
- Add missing races like Dragons, pre-mutilation Falmer, etc, *IF THEY ARE DONE PROPERLY*
- Give better rewards for Cadwell's Silver/Gold: unique motif, unlock faction switch, unlock class morph (gold only), etc. Giving one, two, or all of the three examples would be good. Actually, just make it all three (or something equivalent to each): Silver= faction unlock, unique motif. Gold= faction unlock, class morph. Also unlock new questline in old Alliance zones (has own bullet further down).
- My version of class morphs
- Expand the fishing system without ruining the challenge of base-game fishing achievement (see second spoiler after clicking through to comment).
Improving Alliance War Zones and PvP mechanics
- An overhaul to the Alliance War that emphasizes choice and strategy and maybe an AP/XP toggle.
- Add mechanics that synergize Cyrodiil and Imperial City, making all areas of both maps tactical and strategic.
- Add spy missions as well as capture/escape mechanics to Imperial City for more fun for solo players doing AvA and increased immersion.
- Make changes to encourage Alliance and Alliance Campaign pride.
- Make Cyrodiil bigger to have room for more content (including instanced/partitioned content (like PoW camps) and to make controlling strategic locations more of a challenge.
- New PvP achievements (here are a few more or get the most recent list with old and new achievements put together and nicely ordered) and special rules campaigns beyond just scoring changes.
- Add "moving flags" (supply transports, prisoner marches) to Cyrodiil for small group objectives.
- Invert the AoE caps in Cyrodiil to make AoE be weaker against small groups and stronger against larger groups.
- Make Cloud Ruler Temple a PvP trial/battleground.
- Make IC the home of arenas/battlegrounds.
- AvA Objectives and Rewards
Improving/building on base game PvE zones
- New quests in old Alliance zones building on the choices you made/characters you previously met.
- Retrofitting Craglorn and suggestions for any new Adventure Zones. <--Even though Craglorn was updated still some good ideas here.
- Level-matching high-level players at low-level dolmens, expanding dark fissures into full-scale "events", and giving bonuses to rare roles in dungeon queue (while adding vote-kick and a rep system to reward good play/discourage faking in the queue role selector).
- Add a mentor system to the LFG tool. A better version with commendation and mentoring system for PvE group content.
- Improving the base game (including adding repeatable quests to old zones) in the era of One Tamriel.
- Add repeatable inn events consistent with ESO and prior TES games with fun achievements.
- Non-Standard Quests and Combat
- Endgame Megathread (PvE, PvP, Raids, Crafting, Fishing + More)
- Training instances for group PvE
- Hunt Quests [or passive] to continue boosting the replay value of new and existing content
Miscellaneous In-Game
- New Mundus bonus
- Give small temporary buffs for completing Coldharbour Skydrops and Bandit attacks.
- Annual contest for player-designed things, like gear sets, costumes, pets, etc.
- A barbershop/battleground combo (would not include faction change if above bullet adopted).
- Altering the racial style of drop-only set items.
- Custom racial/class emotes (other than just racial dances).
- Let crown (the group leader) set a combat target (PC or NPC) for the group.
- More general emotes and a minimalist/transparent emote hotbar for PC/Mac.
- Murkmire. Yeah, I know it's "in the works" but with four vet Argonians it is essential to my more hopeful/completed view of ESO. Which gets into...
- More variety in ESO swag.
Community/ForumsMaybe more later.
- The too easy/too hard debate.
- On the idea of "Play as you want".
- More constructive/thoughtful criticism on the forums (how to guide included).
- Idea for recognizing "community contributors" who can be selected as "comunity champions".
---fun threads (part of the "community/forum" dream by way of example)--- Favorite NPC one-liners
- Dogs of ESO
- Favorite "Oops" Moment
- I can't believe I survived
- Saddest moments in PvE
It's easy to be an armchair dev. Have more material but not the time to finish typing/editing. But not so easy to be the real thing.holy cow @tinythinker ...i'm almost speechless...nice work...
i hope one day you have an opportunity to work in this industry...you clearly have a passion and talent for game creation and management...
hmmm, kinda jealous now - i wanna put something like that together - too lazy though
