Examples:
- Directing attention, such as tossing rotten meat near mobs like trolls, zombies, or skeevers to attract them. Could use it to lure mobs away (PvE) or toward enemy players (PvE). A bonus, increase number of mob type when baiting/luring. So, throw the meat (or whatever) at one troll and two more appear looking hungry.
- Emotional manipulation, such as pacify and frenzy spells.
- Raise undead spell for recently killed mobs, with the number, type (skeleton, zombie, skeletal warrior, etc) and strength dependent upon skill level.
Other examples are possible, but what about the general concept? Would you like to see it?
Consider, for instance, combining the 3rd example with the 1st. You raise three dead mobs near a couple of enemy players, then toss out the rotten meat (or whatever item would work for undead, maybe some kind of cursed object). Now there are six or eight of the things swarming the area. If the players are already weakened this might drive them off, or if they are not it might serve as a distraction for an attack.
