Dogs of ESO [Mild Spoilers, Fun, Screen Captures]

If you agree that dogs are awesome, and you enjoy seeing them in video games, this thread is for you. Have you found many named dogs in the game? If so, which is your favorite?

I've got a few listed below, but I know I am missing at least one from Auridon ("Sir Loin"), one from Glenumbra ("Giblets"), and possibly two from Alik'r. I have a screen capture for one of the dogs (not sure if it is named or not) from Alik'r but if it has a name I can't recall what it is.

Feel free to share your own screen captures and descriptions of any named dogs not already posted to this thread, as well as your thoughts about any of them or about dogs in ESO in general (the type/number of breed models used, previous/future opportunities for in-game dogs as pets, etc).

Rexus



Rexus is found near the farm of Geilund and Halmaera on Bleakrock Isle after starting the quest "Lost on Bleakrock" and blowing the dog whistle. He shows up again with Geilund and Halmaera among the refugees fleeing Bleakrock in the quest "Evacuate Bleakrock". He also appears at Fort Zeren (Bal Foyen) as well as Davon's Watch and Kragenmoor (Stonefalls).

Rollie



Rollie (dog) and Lothgar Steady-Hand in Cragwallow (Eastmarch). Indirectly associated with the quest "A Dying Wish". After a group of rieklings attack Cragwallow in the quest "Merriment and Mystery" you will find Lothgar by the path near their cave, mortally wounded, with Rollie keeping the dying Nord company in his final moments.

Pyhart


Pyhart (dog) and Torson, next to the road between Forts Ash and Aleswell, near the northwest bridge to the Imperial City (Cyrodiil). No associated quests.

This is great! I always want to adopt Giblets when you see him later after the initial quest that introduces you to him. And we TOTALLY NEED various dogs and cats as vanity pets!!!!

I know of two others. On the second floor of the bank building in Vulkhel Guard in Auridon, you will find Strongnose. At the Southern Morrowind Gate in Cyrodiil between the transitus shrine and the Fighters Guild tavern, you will find Pawlicker.

Musi is a dog you encounter in the middle of nowhere in the Alik'r Desert. She is involved with a short quest in which you find her owner.

Alduin (wonderful name!) is either a pet wolf or a wolf-dog who belongs to Thane Unnvald Ironhand in Fullheim Fort in The Rift.


Someone whose computer can play in higher graphics should go to these places and take better pictures .

Edited to add: This is the dog OP linked to in the first post. I don't think he had a name. Could be wrong though.

After reading this I had to get a in-game dog. Since I don't have ESO on steam, I can't get that one, but it looks like you can still buy a Wolfhound if you buy a Nord Figurine
