I've purely been playing PvP in Kyne and Vivec campaigns.
Now it seems like every 2nd or 3rd player I encounter is using hacked macros with no cool-downs.
The combat log reads like "skill, skill, heavy attack, skill, heavy attack" from a single player...in one second.
I feel like I'm bringing a musket to a machinegun fight.
Surely the development company is funneling every effort into combating this game-killing garbage? I would be.
Or does anyone actually work at ZOS anymore?
Have they just walked away chuckling with all the cash and left the auto-responders running?
PvP in ESO is a lot of fun, with the big map, lots of exciting battles and tactics.
But this stuff is seriously breaking it. I'm holding on out of vain hope that something will be done, but what is the point.
Week by week my impression of the whole ESO experience is being tainted by the failure of the company to stop hackers.
As things seem to be getting worse in PvP, it looks like either I start hacking too, or leave the game.
It will definitely be the latter.
Lol, get rekt. Seriously though, post a pic of your battle log so we can explain it for you. Im pretty sure there aint 2 heavy s in 1 sec in there. I play with and against rather skilled players whom i know dont use macros meself included and we all get the "nice macro" whisper now and then. Stop feeding this macrobullshit.
Someone on the forums timed heavy attacks and apparently they take 1.5 seconds to charge up.
Seeing a heavy attack after a class/weapon skill (not talking about enchantment or set proc's here) in the exact same second on the combat log is a tell that it's not legit.
Here's some quick examples from my combat log in Cyrodiil (just a few of many) that seem to have no cooldowns.
All the damage listed within each group happens within only one second.
Poison Injection
Heavy Attack
Dizzying Swing
Heavy Attack
Haunting Curse
Endless Fury
Crystal Fragments
I'll be good.

What a novel approach ... for you <snicker>
Oops, did I say that out loud?
Um...hey, did I mention that my husband found bunnies in our yard? Not a good thing, with big (70#) dogs living with us. They looked a lot like this:
Except the little white head dots were a lot more like diamonds or stars.
He was afraid to pick them up (he breaks grocery bags by accident all the time) so I had to dig up the nest and move it. I got about 4-5 of them but the rest ran off in all directions (literally).
Anyway, I appreciate this thread is a safe place to vent some frustrations, and that I think is a good thing.
So you can charge a heavy attack, and then while it is charged, do another skill, and then release the heavy attack?
I didn't know this. I'll try it myself.
But still - three skills in one second? I've got my skills buttons on my mouse, and no matter how mega-fast I press the buttons there's always an animation of some kind with a slight delay. Maybe it's just my ping rate that is in the way of these kinds of one-second-wonders. Animation cancelling is supposed to be light or heavy attack - then skill - then block or bash or roll.
I'm prepared to be wrong about my suspicions though.

Okay I am back and with a vengeance. I spent $3000.00 F'ing dollars to see just who was cheating and how it was happening. First for all those nay sayers before....
I run at 130 mbp down and 5 mbp up.
I am running at 100 FPS on a regular basis.
I am running a 32 gig, GTX 1080 system with hard component drive for processing and separate drive for gaming.
I have NO lag issues what so ever so if even one of you macro using cheating yahoos try to tell me its my system you can eat it.
Next now that I officially see everything in real freaking time. No-one and I mean No-one I don't care if you have 5000 cp can come out of a castle door and kill 6 vets in less than 2 seconds. Yet alone complete 5 separate actions in that time.
Which leads me to my one question that I want answered.
Are any form of "Macros" real, imagined, software or hardware legal?
I will assume that if this question goes unanswered for more than a month by the ZoS/Bethesda team that they are legal and I will begin using my own macro system in PvP.
PvP is a realm for competition and in competition there has to be rules that are followed and adhered to. If no one is going to enforce the rules then everyone is going to break the rules. Pure and simple logic.
Peace be with you.
That was from May 20th. The only information I am seeing from ZoS is from over 2 years ago and we all know they have not enforced that rule in that time. So I am still waiting for a current response to my question. Thirteen more days.
Welp looks like I will be looking into that gaming keyboard very soon. I gave them a month to reply. Many people here have tagged and re-tagged the issues.
After I do pick up that gaming keyboard I want to apologize to all the loyal players up front who have tried to play fair for all these years.
I've stuck to the rules and TOS since the start of the game. I've done my best to report and be a helpful member of the gaming society here, but I am tired now. There are parts of PvP that I wish to be able to compete in and after the amount of money I have spent getting to where I am now I see no reason not to spend a couple hundred more to get equipment that others are using causing the equality of game play to be very uneven.
Again I am sorry all you folks out there who have done as I have done for the last 3 years and stuck to your guns playing according to the TOS.
This will probably be my last post on this thread as I join the army of evil.
Farewell my compatriots.
as i said cut the crit , old selene could hit for 43k , cut the dmg in half for pvp and still it should be higher then 8k, high armor + proper resists and u can reduce it even to 3k if not it can kill someone on low life (<50%) in light armor ,
if u max out raw dmg and lower crit chance u can hit hard on cyro, just use proper set combination not proc crap all the way

Full heavy DK with around 20% mitigation... hard to believe. That selene should have around 20k tooltip to achieve that dmg.
Who is painting other players the cheating color just because their proc does more damage than they can comprehend?
There are many many things that can impact the actual damage of the skill, not just the tooltip.
Incap strike, Relentless Focus, Reaper's Mark combined with Weapon Power pots... they all add to the damage of a skill or proc.
Stop pointing fingers before fully understanding the mechanics of the game.
It makes this whole thread look like a bunch of boys crying "wolf", when there are in fact real wolves around where we should focus our attention to.
so u say when i kill 4-6 players among with keep guards im a cheater only because i know what skills and sets to use? and i dont even use proc sets
this thread is not about teaching pvp or game mechanics , since TG update most of ppl dont think they just zerg in and spam proc sets or steel tornado , snipe from 2m away (!) with 1k dmg and when zerglings die they call other cheaters while the real cheaters mostly are not even visible on the battlefield or rarely visible , mostly siting around the keep/resource on in delves exploiting AP gain or in imperial city,
i dont even mention unkillable data injected superheroes - thats just dump and easy to report when 200 players are hiting the same guy with 0 hp and he is still alive
i play since beta, with each update i test all the combinations for my guild ind duels and on combat dummies and vet dungs. trials
its easy to hit someone with 18k selene on cyro even in heavy armor , for those who cant understand game mechanics i propose to make new thread or find a good guild where u learn something about the game
let this thread serve its purpose pls
