Homestead PvP Glitch: Invisible Enemies

Hello there,

So after playing in Cyrodiil for 10mins after my patch finished downloading I found this wierd bug. Some hostile players are invisible, they can hit you and you can see their skills but you can't see them. This happened in 2 cases...

1. I was in a tower and started getting Wrecking Blowed and crit rushed by an invisible enemy.
2. Near Arrius Lumbermill I was fighting a magicka templar and I could clearly see his Radiant Destruction and I could see a sorc fraging him, yet I could not see the player itself (I recorded this one).

@Lee.sinz has also experienced this issue as we've been talking about it!
I can link recordings if it's requested, as I need to shorten them a bit beforehand.

UPDATE 1: Several people have been reporting this issue in zone chat... apparently it's a common issue.

I know this is the question everyone loves to hate, but are you all running any addons? If so, could you try disabling them and see if you're still seeing this issue (or in this case, not seeing...)

Can you maybe provide the option to have shields displayed in a second bar above or below the standard health bar? I´d like to use the standard UI but the unusual way of displaying HP (decreasing bar towards the middle - not one end) aswell as shields not being displayed properly at all (no value text - badly recognizeable overlay) just makes that basically impossible for me personally.

I've been pretty positive lately about the ZOS. I have loved the developer comments on why changes are being made, the interactions with the community, etc!

But you're saying that someone reported invisible enemies, it was known, and nothing was done about it before pushing it live?

This does not help the rumors that the development does not care about PvP... Just saying.

Yeah...because it takes few hours to fix the bug in thousands of code lines

To cheer You up I can say that in PvE bug that You dont see Your allies when You're in group with them happends all the time. There isnt bug that You dont see enemie players because in PvE there are no enemie players.

I haven't seen that bug *yet* but quite a few people in zone chat have been complaining about it.

Edit: Never mind, was just attacked by some invisible person at Sej. >.<

Ok, this is getting WAY to common... I feel every fight I get in there's at least 1 invisible enemy... It doesn't seem it has anything to do with location, it happened at Alessias front door and near sej too.

anyone surprised? has there been recently an update / dlc which didn't contain some messed up things that have been reported earlier? but wait, it will get even funnier when they try to fix it

I wouldn't even be surprised when some people are going to be banned for abusing stealth or so

Happened to me on Azuras NA right out front of Chalman. I forgot to save the video, but I ended up being chased to the mine by an invisible enemy player hitting me with bow attacks/skills.

Another player reported an invisible DK attacking him at Ash.

I had always assumed that reports came with in-game coordinates when submitted in game...? When this bug happened to my group on PTS it was at cropsford on the flag nearest the quest NPCs. It happened simultaneously with the ever-present invisible group member bug which has existed in live for more than a year. People who experienced the bug included both those than were running add-ons and those who were not.

We had a group of 3, the enemy player was solo, only I could see everyone. We filtered in one at a time. The first player there couldn't see anyone -- allies or enemies, he was attacked by the other faction player, when I joined them neither could see me, when a third ally showed up several minutes later he was invisible to everyone but me.

Because we filtered in separately, and visibility seemed to be completely random, it felt a lot like the previously existing invisible group member bug.
