Reality is that even the biggest "toughguy streamer" is leery of being recorded cheating. When there are many prying eyes that can easily record they are less likely to be cheating. When it's solo quick fights and skirmishes it's less possible people recording, so that's when they usually do it.

8-10 people witnessing you and half of them recording and reporting is how you get banned... and they know it.

Why are you focusing on non important part of the games, when basic mechanic and things are not working properly? I'm not playing right now your game, becouse it has to many bugs, exploits, CHEATS. You gave us a homestead, when we need a proper PVP fix since the game release. What about class balance? It is even 10 worse than before. PVP is not competitive, everywhere you have zergs. Solo playing or smallscale is not worthy to waste a time. Every guild which i was playing with was disbanded becouse people get bored about the same things again and again. Zergs and lags everywhere.

I was at least in 6 pvp guilds since imperial city relase. Now when i ask my friends if they will play with me, they don't want to play that game anymore. We had some fun in pvp but now.... there's no way to play that game.

NOWADAYS you haven't got anything to do in that game, you haven't got a proper target. Everything you can get so easly. Even APs are no worth anything. In PVE you have nothing to do when you will have undaunted rank 9 and proper monster sets. What about trials and arenas? When you will get a proper drop, you won't do that anymore.

What about homestead? I don't care about that, i won't even buy a house.

1) don't forget to write a "buyers beware" review on Steam or Amazon - it's the only way I can see to force ZOS to squash these cheats and exploits - a bad review.
2) on your way out of the game, DON'T GIVE YOUR STUFF AWAY TO ANYONE.

Agreed, only when things start impacting the bottom line do they get priority. I played a game years ago that had a long-standing serious cheat; the developers ignored complaints until a hacker posted, in perfect detail, how to do it and it was fixed within a week.

Yet another Trader Exploit happened on PS4 EU Mournhold today.

When will this get fixed?

IN IC sewers encountered a player who would not die even though his health was at 0. He began to bash and bounce in crouch up and down as to signal for us to stop attacking. The players health remained at 0% for a good 20 seconds they then began to heal with breath of life, with out attacks keeping their hp at 0%. Impervious to stuns also.
This is not the first time this has happened...

I contacted the individual and questioned them as to the set and skills they were using.

They immediately answered with . "The phoenix set " "it must be a glitch" when I didn't even press the topic of glitches or cheats...

Just curious if this is a known bug or working as intended..But lately sorcs have been stunning me and pulling me out of cloak even though the path of their Streak doesnt cross me.. and i mean from 5-10m away from me as well..

Its like their Streak suddenly has a massive AoE either side of the path kind of like Wall of Elements..thought it was supposed to be line of sight.

Its getting almost as bad as being hit with jesus beams or frags from range when cloaked (with constant cloak up.. no time to focus target so it cant be lag..)

Regarding the zero health:
It might be a health desync bug. There is a skill which regularly causes a health bug. this means your health will stay at x % according to your life bar. none the less, you will regenerate or heal to full health. it will only be displayed incorrectly. unfortunately, even enemy players will see a wrong health bar from time to time and try to execute you while your on full health.

i do not consider this an exploit as there is not really a benefit to it and can't be accurately triggered. this bug sucks pretty much, especially when your health gets stuck at 3% and your screen keeps on flashing red... >_<

I watched the clip. that is definitely not a desync issue, but it is a convenient excuse to try to cover up what's going on.

In general: the one who i responded to didn't post a video. according to what he wrote it could be anything from a simple UI bug to exploitation. I just wrote that there is a bug that might look like what he may experienced. No excuses for anything at all. (but it wouldn't be the first time someone believes he saw someone exploiting while it was legit or simply another bug that occurred)

I just took a short glimpse at it and it looks very strange with that many people hitting someone at 0 health Still, it might be a bug appearing again. and yes, it might be cheating. Maybe I'm missing something. I will take a look at it later again (e.g. what was hitting him, is it possible to figure out what he was wearing, and so forth).

and well, if you believe i'm trying to come up with excuses to cover up some cheating that's going on... well, i guess then that's your opinion. Or maybe read my other comments regarding cheating / exploiting and the opinion i have, but i guess that would involve some work on your side...

Look at the upper right corner. "Target is immune" all the time. I wasn't able to hit him when he was low, and even my friend's fosillize was not working for that guy. For me he was using cheats.

I'm actually curious. Does ZOS even have an anti cheat system in place? Blizzard and other major companies have anti cheat so why doesn't ZOS?

What about this type of behavior at dolmens as seen in my screenshot. UI disable in the screenshot as not name or shame anyone.



I do not know whether this is considered cheating. The players standing upon the tent are continually firing their skills when the dolmen is inactive, also while active. Always at the same spot, where the dolmen boss spawns. This is very common at a couple of popular dolmens. Yesterday I dragged a Daedroth into a dolmen in Alik'r desert, the Daedroth killed one of the players doing this, who lay their dead afterward for a period of time, which tells me these types of players are using some sort of mechanism to achieve this.

Playing on PC and seriously the amount of bots about lately is a disgrace. There appears to be way to much gold around as well & I hear of so many who buy gold from sellers.

I don't know if hackers can get in to ones inventory but the other day at craglorn bank I withdrew 2 potent nirncrux to sell on my guilds, split the sack for 2 individual sales then came back to my inventory to list them and guess what only 1 of them was in my inventory. Similar happened over xmas & at the time I put it down to my stupidity but after this it's confirmed to me thieves/hackers are around.

This is a disgrace ZOS solve this problem fast or your servers will just be left with bots & hackers !

I've been thinking about all the hackers I read about that were caught by ZOS, banned, and then (incredibly) UNbanned.

Maybe, in addition to being unable to stop cheaters, ZOS also cannot reliably prove cheating, and has been forced to give accounts back for legal reasons. Some people have suggested that accounts have been reinstated because they don't want to lose income. Who knows.

Devoted players who do PVE have said they are upset that cheaters stay on leader boards, and get to keep skins and titles. Totally understandable. The same applies to PVP cheaters who get undeserved Emperor status, or huge amounts of Alliance Points (and the special equipment they can buy with it). Cheaters are presumably reaping incredible amounts of equipment, materials and gold in the game (bots/automated macros are harvesting for them too). The rich cheaters just keep getting richer, because the more you have, the easier it is to get more.

Since punishments don't appear to be permanent, I wonder if cheaters will be able to continue playing forever, in their gold mountain palaces. If they are never detected and permanently banned, they will never lose the huge leads they have gained dishonorably.

I sincerely, with all my heart, hope you're not meaning to say you don't have an anti-cheating software implemented for ESO. Because that would be extremely incompetent.
