ZOS please lock it for a caimpaign duration. Help cutdown on the ridiculous things like what happened tonight on PC NA Vivec. An EP player grabbed the EP scroll from a DC keep EP just won and he purposely jumped into the water to die again! Resetting it back at a DC home keep even further away. He then proceeds to troll in zone about it.

I know at some point players from all factions have done this deed. But you are the developers ZOS. Please put a stop to this toxic play. @ZOS_GinaBruno is there nothing that can be done? Just overall crappy game play.

That was pretty demoralizing. EP took that scroll from DC's last emp keep at Ash, so it was a pretty spirited defense as well. And then to lose it to a troll player throwing to the slaughterfish (which were buffed, so no one had a chance to get it) and then it reset to Rayles...

Demoralizing. Which, no doubt, was the troll player's whole goal.

I don't know that I have a good answer, as there will always be trolls. But it's disappointing to lose a scroll to a troll, especially now that the point values are so much higher.

tbh ZOS said scroll trolling is okay since the action does not against TOS, same as team green, purple etc.

edit: even foul language will not get him banned btw.

Because I'm EP. He took the scroll, dumped it in the slaughterfish, and started trolling about it in chat and whispers.

However, it should also be obvious you don't pick up an EP scroll on a EP toon and dump it in the slaughterfish instead of running it home to Ghartok temple unless you are trolling, even without the chat.

Funny isn’t it? If someone is trolling RPers they will incur a ban. Troll pvp tho...nothing lol sigh

Make a server where it’s lockdown for entire duration and another where it isn’t. Shoot call the unlocked one trollvec. Give someplace for these trolls to go.

I don't expect anyone from ZOS to respond. But you should at least have an internal discussion about have a "spy" taking a scroll and intentionally dumping it in to the slaughter fish so that it can't be recovered. If this is "okay" with ZOS, then the point value of the scrolls should be reduced back to 1 point.

Faction lock would not stop this. Many have second and third accounts and considering how cheap it is to get a second account trolls will still be able to be trolls.

I have stated before, in the first week of this game one player helped another steal a scroll from behind the gates. Zos changes the rules of behavior and solved that issue.

For this Zos needs to look at what happened and find an actual solution. I would rather an actual solution than the band aid that does nothing real being suggested above.

Fun story, a young scruffy got ganked standing in the "safe" area behind the gates at the teleport stand.

But honestly it might not be a literal TOS violation but it is certainly an anti-social behavior that violates the spirit of the pvp rules. Anybody doing this should be punished and that punishment should be publicly announced by ZOS. It's not healthy for the pvp game because it really does demoralize new players. They see this type of thing and go wtf see ya.

Again this is why as a hardcore pvp game this game is an absolute joke. No serious pvp guild takes this games pvp mode serious. I love it, its fun but its a joke.

So what can we do as the community? I know players from other factions than my own and they would never play the game like that. This is definitely a community problem and I feel that if a game moderator would have been on in the game this could have been solved in two minutes.

People who care about the Alliance Score and even a lot of people such as myself who don't already acknowledged that the player who did this and others like them are jerks. People who are jerks like this have already ostracized themselves to most of the community except for other jerks like themselves.

But they don't care. They get their jollies by being jerks. There isn't much we as a community or ZOS can do because it's in their nature to be jerks. And, yes, these jerks managed to still be jerks in the first few months of the game when locks ecisted and 99% of the community had no playable alts:

What ZOS should do is to encourage people to give a crap about actually winning the campaigns and scoring high on the leaderboards for doing so. The only thing we get is some gold rings that are 90% decon trash and maybe a VD ring I might sell for 75K or such.

75K? That's peanuts considering it took me an entire month. I can get more then 75K in a couple of hours of farming mats at the Betnik starter island.

The rewards are a joke. People are more concerned about getttig tier 3 rewards for their 12 alts just so they can get trans stones.

Well OP never did say that some sort of faction lock would "stop it". but "cutdown on it". I think most players would agree that a faction lock would do just that, even if some players have different accounts.

Here I have to agree. In a combination with a faction lock, I think better rewards could have a real positive effect on the community in Cyrodill and make players invest more in winning a campaign for their choosen alliance.

Its a bit of a chicken and the egg situation.

The more you increase the rewards to incentivize caring about the campaign score, the more demoralizing troll players like this become.

I mean, if I get better rewards for winning the campaign, I'm going to be even more upset when someone trolls with a home scroll for a 20 point differential.
