If the rumors on what this exploit was is true then it's huge and absolutely warrants immediate downtime for a fix.
To touch on what I was saying...for the dude up there that thinks it's a personal attack.
They kicked people in the Guild to make room for their other accounts to get added to our Guild. We're always at capacity, so have to kick to invite.
They promoted other accounts to speed-up the purge of the Bank and to gain access to the Bank, as only Officers have access (good time to touch base on the Guild Overhaul ESO so desperately needs!).
They at least had the decency to re-promote me to GM (LOL) and our Officers. Shame they kicked a few OG Beta / Psijic Order members when they were making room. ***...
They also bought Crown Crates and unlocked some mounts. In my original ticket, I noted that behavior as a method to prove it wasn't me. I cannot stand Crown Crates. haha
They also deleted a Warden of mine. Not sure why. I suspect their main is a Templar and they're still bitter about Major Mending and Blazing Spear Stun.
Passwords have been changed, also.
Agree! Ran the gamut of calm yer tittenbooben to call a Doctor! Decided to post nothing xD
The above bolded statement

Due to the nature of the exploit, we aren't able to divulge any details. That said, you can rest assured that we will be fixing it, and any accounts found to be abusing it will be taken care of.
Please explain us once again, why downtime is done only when EU prime time is nearby? Few hours for fixing some exploit? Since when applying fixes takes so much time? You need to replace whole game data at servers or what?
everything in an mmo is primetime XD
I know someone who have their playtime before work at 6 am, and someone getting up from bed at 15 pm.
That's very true. It's always tough to choose a time to do maintenance since someone will always be affected. But playing before 6am? Ouch!

@ZOS_GinaBruno could you at least stop with your "we don't disclose anything" policy when the issue has been fixed? I consider such information as quite important.
The problem is, if this WAS an intrusion or a player found exploit, if you tell people what it is it gives them a basis of testing parameters to break the code.
So if you have an electric fence and they tell you that there was a break in this specific area, but it was repaired, you investigate the circumstances of that break and the repeat attacks until success.
If you never know where that break was, you can't try to replicate it. It's a decent idea to obfuscate in these situations.
They may tell you privately if you have some need or ability to assist, but public sharing is not wise.

Security by obscurity is never a good tactic. It's just a matter of time until someone else finds a similar (yet unfixed) bug. Imho it's better to encourage people to test it on PTS and give rewards for ones who finds a new exploit. Reward that makes it worth sharing with ZOS instead of abusing it for personal gains.
You're assuming people who would find the bug on PST would not be silent about it for personal gain. You like to believe all people are good and honest, don't ya.
What about making a permanent and non modifiable title for exploiters (in case of non perma ban) ?

What I find very annoying though is the servers being taken down every week during European daytime hours for maintenance.
This company should take example of companies like Blizzard, where the weekly maintenance happens during the very early morning times of the respective world regions.

Maybe it was a bug in the guild permissions that got escalated really fast, maybe it's a general exploit that came into being because of the patch in general.
Only the exploiters now. You can't expect to have the details in the open on day 1 on all public exploit boards. Probably not even on the private ones.
Where are the other reports on the other guilds I checked forums and don't see any
