I was running a new warden through grahtwood before the patch, near that little village where you have to work out who broke the green pact. I was accused of being a bot while I stood at a dolmen with my friend, waiting for it to respawn. We were just standing there chatting in whisper, and someone ran up to us and called us bots. Then today, just before the server went down, I was working on my Monster Hunter title, wherein I need to kill another 300+ ghosts to earn my title. So I was just running in circles outside of Davon's Watch, killing those ghosts because they are plentiful and respawn quickly. I wonder how many people thought I was a bot while i did nothing but continuously run around killing ghosts? All I'm saying is, I feel as though I'm back in Salem, and there is a witch hunt going on. I'm sure there are legitimate cases, but do you guys at least try to whisper these "bots" before you report them? Cause if not, you might be part of the problem as to why they pay little mind to bot reports. Because I am certainly not a bot, and if someone would take a second to whisper me, they would get something no BOT can produce, and that is a response to a whisper. Just a thought.
They don't ban based ONLY upon player opinion, they're going to look at you for repeditive behaviours (and no human movement is absolutely repeditive, even if you do the same thing over and over). The only reason to feel defensive about it is if you were actually botting/exploiting.
Don't make me laugh! I wouldn't even know HOW to bot, and if you think I was, then I invite you to come play, and see how I roll. I have ZERO fear of doing anything wrong in this game, considering I have been here (and subbed) since launch, and have NEVER been banned or punished for bad in-game behavior of ANY kind. I wasn't defensive at all, but I do wonder how you finger pointers can know someone is indeed botting BEFORE you waste ZOS's time with a bot report. I can guarantee you that I will NEVER be banned for doing it (not only because I lack the skill, but because I WORK for what I want). I merely want to be sure you actually put forth EFFORT before wasting someones time because "they got the node before me" or something dumb like that.

I know you busy, but the mage stone is no longer getting cp or passive bonuses. Is this intended or a bug. The only thing that is affecting it is Divines, inner light mages guild passives undaunted none of these are affecting the magestone bonus anymore. However spell and Weapon damage are getting bonuses from skills and the such.0 -

If you are going to accuse someone of something, at least have the common decency to whisper them, or make SOME attempt to confirm your suspicions. That's all I ask. The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

Not the case, as I've been at school all day. I don't have that kind of time or patience. I just think it's funny how ZOS, and many other MMO developers (and GTA Online especially) blame players for taking advantage of their constant incompetence. It's also funny how you call this obvious when no one even knows what the issue is. The exploit only affected new ESO accounts created in the last two days. If we determined that your account was affected by the issue, you’ll be receiving an email within the hour explaining any adjustments we’ve made to your account and/or affected characters. How about you embrace some transparency like other games do and give us a report at least the number of accounts banned per quarter? And how many accounts that are banned get appeals? Other games (that have a lot less cheating) do that and more.

The exploit only affected new ESO accounts created in the last two days. If we determined that your account was affected by the issue, you’ll be receiving an email within the hour explaining any adjustments we’ve made to your account and/or affected characters. Given that they're the ones making new accounts all the time, it'll mainly be the bot-masters who receive the emails then, that makes for fascinating speculation
