I don't know what all this infighting in AD is about, but I don't think calling someone Kale as opposed to Kalel is trolling. If you have a long name in an MMO, people will shorten it to talk about/to you, and in my experience, 3-4 letters is the sweet spot. I've had names shortened to something improper as often as mispronounced and it's not something to get worked up over and certainly not trolling.

It's okay to be a little bad, we were all there. Some AD emperors like taytatty actually took the time out to teach newbies how to use a siege engine and oil pots.

In all honesty you do have a point there, I am "new" to pvp here as in I've only been pvping on ESO for 2 months now, but I have been pvping in swtor and wow for about 5 years, so I pick up things fairly quick and tactics are tactics for the most part in any pvp environment... so with that being said and to your point I don't always stop to elaborate the finer details of things that a more observant (due to some kind of experience) player picks up on immediately.

Well when the entire faction spends a literal 5 hours dying running from the Alessia front doors to the EP that have oils, trebs, ballistas, zerg balls charging and receding back and forth killing people by the dozens per minute on the Alessia side of the bridge.... yeah I am going to call that idiotic, moronic, and even 're-re' behavior... at some point theres a light bulb that's just not going off when you've been dying for hours on end with no progress while all the more experienced players have been telling you to stop and pull back because you're just getting farmed and we're losing every keep we have.

This is the type of reasoning we have to put up with constantly in AD zone chat.

Kale is justified in calling people, idiots, morons and ret@rded because they don't listen to him, yet we are the "childish" trolls for shorting Kalelicus to Kale.

It's new people learning, either help them learn by explaining game concepts calmly and logically (not your forte I know), or just keep it to yourself (not your forte either). If they are having fun why does it matter they are getting farmed or losing every keep? I love jumping into tower and bridge farms, it teaches you to be a better player.

Separately, are there a lot of guilds that run in all alliances and help new players learn the game here, or are there better campaigns for that?

@lepemetus There are some of us who only pvp on Azura. I have over 560 CP yet Azura is the only Campaign I will pvp in. I prefer fights that end instead of long drawn out battles where who ever has the biggest numbers really wins which seems to be how the CP Campaigns are.

I haven't been in this Campaign much as of late as I've been doing other things in the game. From the posts here, it doesn't sound like I've missed anything that can't be caught up with watching a few hours of any daily soap opera....

I disagree with those who say we should be able to have opposing faction characters in the same campaign. Being able to flip from one side to the other doesn't appeal to me and just hinders each factions team work IMO. Letting a player flip back and forth encourages players to abandon the hard road ahead and take the easy path. It further divides the faction as we all know people that do this and feel betrayed seeing them playing for the other team.

One solution to that could be that there are 3 of every campaign type. With 3 campaigns, you can have all characters in the same Faction homed to the same campaign.

This would help eliminate the scroll trolls helping other factions gaining scrolls also. No one is going to gimp their character for 30 days just to help their other faction if they cannot also reap those rewards. I believe this would also help each factions teamwork. It forces people to work together since they cannot simply relog into another faction in the same campaign.

My big bad insult was literally saying that he needs to work on his "reading comprehension" before I explained something for the third time. And I actually said that, did not even mean or say it in an inflammatory way (unlike Kale calling people ret@rds, the guy Mutagem is weirdly defending).

It's weird, cause 5 minutes later he said in zone he doesn't take it as an insult, and I didn't mean it as an insult, so how exactly was it an insult?

Also Mutagem, he apologised to a specific group of people, not the zone. And as you say, he apologised once for how many of the hundred times has he insulted people? He's even been justifying calling people idiots, morons and ret@ards in this very thread, so again it's super weird you'd defend him.

I will do what I want to do and that is the end of that, being called *** for doing so it interesting especially if this person actually does have a mental illness.

Also Mutagem, he apologised to a specific group of people, not the zone. And as you say, he apologised once for how many of the hundred times has he insulted people? He's even been justifying calling people idiots, morons and ret@ards in this very thread, so again it's super weird you'd defend him.

**Everything being said here has already been said in AD zone chat, it's weird that Mutagem decided to bring it here. As for what was said towards me I took screenshots of it if necessary. It wasn't one of those insults that was a very aggressive tone it was just something that hit home for some of my past I have had to deal with and it really upset me. I don't doubt that the intent wasn't that malicious, however for the person to flat out refuse to apologize when I whispered them, told zone chat, and he just refused to even talk to me after shows the magnitude of the toxicity of the chat.

That's your argument everytime he was apologizing to a specific group of people. I'll say my argument... again...an apology is still an apology and a step in the right direction! Like I said I can't comment on the events of yesterday cause I wasn't there. I actually never had a single problem with you Yoda other than defending Tays actions. I could ask the same of you, you're defending someone who flat out refuses to just apologize for wronging someone, who even said that ignoring me being legitimately upset was the better option. Kalel apologized to Rinari for killing her on his EP character several times. So yeah I may be defending someone who calls the zone idiots out of frustration of seeing a faction get farmed but at least they have the decency to give a sincere apology which Tay obviously doesn't have.

I'm staying out of the whole teabagging other teammates part because I wasn't there yesterday so I can't comment on it. I do agree with your last sentimenst though.
