Edit: And a quick sidenote Yoda I only brought that up in hopes to gain emperor and terrorize red temporarily for backing out on that deal and having Kenshin [A DR member apparently] zerg us at 4 in the morning and take our scrolls when he got emped. Kenshin was removed from DR for that, FYI. Do not invoke our guild name regarding him again.

That was me that compared him but it was only in the sense where if he was number 1 typically no one wanted to emp him, that's all. I wasn't speaking of playstyle or good/bad or anything, just on how other AD treat the campaign when he was number 1. The reason why I specified that he was "worse" was two things... 1. To be funny and 2. Because AD eventually did emp the person named even if they didn't want to but with Kale (or Kalel or Ka whatever the approved nickname is) they don't. Hence "worse". I didn't mean it in a insulting way, was just comparing the two based on how AD treats them when they are first.

I personally doubt any veteran player cares if a new PvPer is first, that's healthy for PvP if new blood jumps in and does good, gets AP correctly (not farming friends in other alliances) etc. I have seen many veteran guilds be called in to a campaign that they just guest in or maybe not even that to help Emp an AD brethren. The zone chat is insane and honestly one of the only reasons why Kale gets attacked in zone is because he goes after people relentlessly.

Like when the player last night mentioned animation cancelling when you could see after a few posts he meant macros but Kale just wouldn't stop going after the person. Kale could have just dropped it and said something like "Think you meant macros but yeah they suck" or whatever but he didn't. I don't mean to sound like I am attacking you Kale, I am not, just saying you don't help put out the flames in zone chat when you see the drama igniting. I, personally, don't give a crap if you're first... congrats... to those who do... whatever, it's a game. Let's just play, fill some bounty quests and have fun shall we? Leave the drama in real life.

EDIT- I realize you are not Kale Mutagem but I figure he/she would read this.

You are ignoring that it is actually a potential swing of 10% when your faction takes your own + enemy scrolls. And even just recovering your own scroll is a 5% hit to the enemy faction on the particular bonus from the offensive/defensive scroll.

Ummm no they didn't from what I saw, All I saw was him say "Its because the game is *** and needs a global cooldown then it gets rid of macros/ac in one fell swoop" or something to that origin. I recalled it being pretty civil, then TM started trolling him after then he said if their guild stands for Troll Masters

I could be wrong though cause I didn't see all of it but I definitely saw that part and it seemed civil to me until TM jumped in trolling him

I just hate this ongoing trend that it's constantly one person ruining everything when there's others that antagonized him all night as well and have before too. It's borderline trolling/bullying at this point.

Raylanna brought up the important point that emp = winning but i've seen countless zone banter saying its his fault were losing....LOL

Yeah - the AZN Invasion is a complete joke. Bunch of mid level no CP zergers with no skill just overwhelming with siege and numbers.

It's funny to take 4 into a tight spot and kill 14+ but you just don't have the resources and damage output to wipe them out fast enough on this campaign.

They need to just leave honestly. This campaign was / is fun when it's mostly balanced out. Guards matter. When one side is running 40+ in one pile - and AD and EP have maybe 16 people all together - you just can't kill them fast enough.

Now, there is a solution to this. Un nerf Proxy Det - remove AE caps - buh bye zerglings. However, those guy are cancer and only enable an all night AP farm for the east / west coast DC at the top of the leader boards.

Clearly, this environment is becoming toxic to regular players. It's toxic for me who doesn't mind bombing for 10 kills and 1 death. Imagine the guys who get 1-2 kills per death and are relegated to left clicking for AP. Seriously, this is not what the game is supposed to be like.

This is interesting stuff--they were in BWB for a few weeks but have largely disappeared. I guess now we know where they went.

When I logged on, at around 8am CST, the map was blue and they were hitting Black Boot, with about 50. We were scrollless. People were thinking that it was Subtomic.

I made it quite clear in both, zone and my guild, that Subtomic simply wouldn't do it, or stand by it. And then people from DC started telling me that the Asian players were being d*cks to them in groups.

They were insanely numbered omg. lol

We all logged.

And again, with QD not here, as well as DBD and Queens Eyes not running, our group is the last guild there right now... and people are just tired of it.

I'm with you, completely: I hope they leave, but as servers go historically, they probably won't.

But, just know that no AD players I run with are blaming DC, in general. They see the Asians as bad apples.

Yeah you missed a bit of the conversation in zone where Kale was coming off really aggressively and questioning the player who said it, I don't remember what was said but I remember feeling bad for the player who mentioned animation cancelling and it didn't paint a good picture of Kale to me.

By the time he said what you saw the conversation had been going on for a solid two minutes. Oh well, it happened, I did put Kale on my ignore list though... just makes zone friendlier sadly. If you're his friend, tell him to chill a bit lol. And yes, I agree the person you named actually got crowned a few times, it was weird and probably why AD abandoned Haderus.

Well maybe they'll get tired of PvDooring the map and switch to a campaign with some action in their time zone. If the imbalance is that huge, I can't imagine many Oceanic time AD or EP players will stay just to get zerged repeatedly.

They all have Japanese names so I assumed they were Japanese. First time I saw them I thought they were someone's master thesis on making zergling bots. They are that bad at fighting. Maybe a PVE guild who decided to come collect end of campaign rewards.

Speaking of which - I think the end of campaign rewards are way too valuable compared to the rewards of the worthy that you get for individual effort. You can get much more swag for doing 2 hours per cycle on the winning faction than doing 10 hours per week on a losing faction. That just ain't right in my mind.

Emps dont win campaigns, especially not ones with a schedule like mine. Night cappers in this case win campaigns. Just like AD last camp score will be decided between 12-10 am server time.

No "honor" in a win like that. Though I havent cared for a campaign score since wabba/dawnbreaker

Ty for defending me. I wouldnt ever zerg anything but a inner 6 keep. And thats only because at prime time DC ring defense is spotty at best, and absolutely worthless a lot of the time.

We had 20/20 defensive siege at glademist while i was dethroned still alive on the flags this last time alone with 2 guildies and maybe 3 pugs lol0

See that's really dissapointing that pwned got it but no one would with Kalel, the campaign is really depressing to play in lately with such a restricted you can't do this or can't do that mentality. It's like every day I have to march up to alessia and roebeck and hope for an attack or defense. The warden attack today was really fun though, most fun i've had in a few days sadly.

Ah I missed that part so I can't comment on that. Like I was saying though TM was antagonizing him all night so he was probably on edge. Before that chanting ALL HAIL UNCLE SHEO THE TRUE AD EMPEROR. It reminded me of a 6 year old waving a candy in front of 4 year old saying "you can't have it na na na na". Tired of AD zone chat in general with that kind of mentality adding to the problem.

I see your point but from a geographical standpoint controlling all keeps in the ring gives you a huge vantage point of greater ground to cover plus the bonus's and having one OP character *** *** up makes a greater difference then the scrolls do imo

The problem is Kale just isn't a nice person(other words come to mind) there is always time to speak and times to just be quiet, not over react to everything. Sure trolling does go on. It's actually quite amusing. But that fact that its the entire AD faction that has no motivation here to crown him should be ringing alarm bells and there have been plenty of opportunities whilst I have played which hasn't been much since the first week. I haven't been the most popular at times with the AD faction which I'm sure we can all agree but the issue lies in the fact that nobody particularly likes his attitude. A direct comparison to OMFG pwned is actually quite accurate here. There is a lot more to becoming emperor than @Kryptonite_Kent thinks than just playing 12 hrs a day (making not much AP to be honest). You need alliances with guilds or have a strong one to back you up. Be nice to the faction and you might be successful. Of the 3 most successful emps so far on this campaign cycle; Subtomik, Patrick Scott and myself none of us would have had emp with his attitude or without guild support. Just something to ponder on before you keep mindlessly defending him.

Oh and as for your continued dig about how much AP I have... I am 9th on the leaderboards out of all the factions for AP, and right in line with all the rest of the top 10 excluding the 2 people who have been crowned repeatedly... so I don't get your point other than to troll me more.

I agree with the bolded part strongly and have personally given him *** several times for speaking up and told him to stay out of things [which relates to the bolded part]. I personally didn't find the trolling funny at all though. I want to work on creating a non toxic/trolling zone chat. The chat has SUCKED hard for the past while now. Antagonizing someone who has been part of the problem in several peoples eyes doesn't help matters. I don't believe that's mindlessly defending him. I believe that's wanting others to set an example.

Edit: Guess it doesn't really matter anymore. He's switching to EP now he just announced

Oh sorry... I thought we were going for dramatic flair here, is that not what the objective is? I mean I was accused of teabagging someone EVERY time I saw him when in fact it was 2 times... accused of setting up 15 trebs by myself, which isn't even possible without most of them just falling apart from not being used... accused of ruining AD all by myself, another amazing feat... accused of being "mean" to any and everyone because I occasionally go off about stupid things like getting tower farmed 50 times a week or bridge farmed for hours on end, neither of which is an exaggeration by the way... but yeah I'm "overreacting" lol, you caught me

If the giant blue group is really that much of a problem, why not just make an agreement between reds and blues to leave the server during their play time? Lol that's what we did with AD and DC when Havoc attracted all the EP lemmings and enabled the destruction of whatever server that was. Thornblade maybe?

That's actually the problem... NO ONE is online when that giant zerg of blues has been capping the map and all the scrolls, its like 5-6 am EST when AD and EP literally have maybe a dozen+ people on each faction lol!

I wonder if in time the new members from the other side of the Pacific will branch out to the other factions. Seems odd to me to have a group all clustered on one. I know when I pop in in the morning for some mount training and pvp, seeing the map all blue is boring to me. I prefer seeing every faction on the inner ring.

Just a few points
1) That blue night group (Japanese group) makes for some perfect AP if you can find a good group of 8 at that time.
2) If AD and EP can actually get some groups going at night, group of 12 players, that DC group will not be a problem. They are all very new players.
3) Kale why you so mad for?
4) I agree with Subtomik- Emp's do not win campaigns, map presence does. So there's no point for AD to cry in zone chat about us farming at Bleakers when in reality we will loose everything at night.
5) Storm Knight is broken as hell. But hey, it's the buff magick builds needed.

I'll play along...

1) Yes, they are very bad and can be held off by 1/4 of their numbers... but they are learning with each defeat lol
2) No one is in reality going to stay up to form capable groups from 5-7 AM EST to combat the azn invasion
3) I'm really not, my goal was to get 1st place, I did, and I'm quite happy about it, getting emp at this point would just be a bonus so whatevs
4) Yes and no... obviously map control wins, but it is much easier to control the map with an emp rolling around, and not to sound "mean" but its lose not loose, loose is the opposite of tight
5) May have to try it out, seen it used by A LOT of people without naming names (you know who you are lol)

No one? No one at all? Not even Sheo, Purus or I who are Aussies and it is prime time for us when they come on. Also emp would help against pugs but not organised groups. You come up against 3-4 organised good players as emp and it's a struggle, especially with no CP.

Well I guess if you 3 want to try to hold off 50+ deep kamikaze zergballs at 5-7 AM lol, more power to you... and rip to the best animal guy and Aussie ever Steve Irwin! Seriously though, I think we can all agree emp alone wont win, but it does help with map control, with faction morale, with getting scrolls... honestly its a done deal at this point, no one wanted to emp me, we never got emp for 3 weeks in a row, we lost the campaign by a mile, its done and over with now, not gonna lose any sleep over it. No hard feelings on my end anyway, I can be a bit... aggressive... and everyone trolls to a degree so take it with a grain of salt, just gonna keep playing the game and having fun as should everyone
