Im sick of grinding things and when you have a 1% chance to get a box out of 100 things killed, I just dont have time for it.
Also not going to spend that much $$ for tickets for a pet, no matter how different it is from the normal stuff we have.

    100% chance from world bosses

    Just kilked the WB...twice.

    Got a box first time.

    Second time....no box.

    So not true

I'm currently 3/3 once a day so yes, so very true. Don't misinform people because you'd rather kill swamp jellies.

    1) Your anecdotal evidence does not counter that even the devs said it's not a 100% droprate from WBs.
    2) Only the top 12 damage dealers gets anything at all from a WB. Considering that 30+ people camp them less than half will get anything at all, and healers and tanks have zero chance of anything. So even if it was a 100% it wouldn't work for a lot of people.

    1) It's not anecdotal, you even admit to it in your part 2 XD. Either way I've seen the devs not properly communicate things during every event. This is no different

    2) Again it is 100% for the 12 people in the loot table. If you do not get to loot it that doesnt mean it isnt 100% drop rate, it means you werent included in the loot at all.

    3) You dont have to play as a tank or a healer, it's not an excuse for overland content especially when there's "30+" people waiting on it.

    1) You clearly don't know what anecdotal evidence means. I suggest you look it up so you appear less foolish in the future.

    2) No, it isn't. There's not a 100% certainty of tickets OR boxes from a World Boss or ANYTHING. Again, look it up. Read the news blog about the event. It. Is. RNG.
And since you're this much of a moron, we're talking about drops of tickets and boxes. Not about whatever generic loot a WB may carry. TICKETS. BOXES. Get it? Shall I slow further down and maybe use a dictionary for you to wrap your head around it?

    3) Wow people shouldn't play the role they want according to you? It's not like this game isn't already short on healers and tanks as it is, is it? Oh wait, it is.

I really don't know what to do with this level of entitlement and rank well, stupidity.

People have been complaining about not being able to buy more things with the tickets they have - ZOS added the pet/memento items to the impresario.

People have been complaining that they can't get loot from bosses because people are killing them to fast or their computers can't handle the strain with 50 players all using abilities in the same place - ZOS changed the prerequisite to any monster at all to spread out player concentration.

People have been complaining that they've got a bunch of useless items in their inventory that they can't sell and are just taking up inventory space - ZOS makes the fragments into collectibles.

ZOS is giving you people what you're asking for and now you're complaining because it's not the exact way you feel like it should be. There is plenty of time and there are plenty of tickets being provided for you to get everything out of the event if you participate. If ZOS was really that concerned about making money, they would have simply put the voriplasm pet in the crown store and forgone the whole fragment thing altogether - it's obvious people really want it.

There is absolutely not enough tickets or strongboxes to get box items even if you grind 10 hours a day.

You realize that there are people that got the pet on the first day of the event, right? I'll concede that it may just be fantastic RNG, but you've obviously not spent 10 hours a day grinding or you wouldn't be here - you'd probably have the pet, too.

And there are people that have killed 100s of things and got no extra boxes at all

Well, as you say, "RNG is a vindictive mistress"

Maybe consider directing your ire at the people who screeched about having too many tickets and not enough to spend them on, or the people who screeched about having their inventory fill up with tradeable items. Contrary to popular belief, ZOS does read these forum posts and the squeakiest wheels get the grease.

It's unfortunate that not all ZOS employees actually play the game that they work on, but it's also unfortunate that those people can't come to the forums and get any real picture of what the game is like without the "NERF THIS OR I'M LEAVING" threads muddying the waters with hyperbole. Bottom line, the community has been asking for this. Be careful what you wish for.

You can stick your head in the sand and refuse to acknowledge that there is also good RNG if you want, but that doesn't change the fact that there are people who got the pet by grinding and simply got lucky. There are people getting two or three fragments in a strong box.

Sure, but "Not able to get any of the rewards due to horrible RNG and untradable fragments" is obviously not true. Nice straw man, though.

It isn't quite that bad. We get the possibility of 39 tickets in this event .. and need 35 to buy one or other of the "rewards". Whilst getting the 3rd berry would take another 10, it is possible to get one or the other rewards from event tickets if that is what you really want .. which is what I have resigned myself to doing.

I have 10 days and 10 boxes left to get .. there is a small chance that I might get the 6 remaining fragments of the gravestake momento in that time that I need (and possibly be able to save up some tickets for the next event if I get a lucky pet fragment drop in those days), but if not I'll resign myself to it and buy my pet fragments with event tickets earned in game .. as it's the pet I really want.

Of course saying that, I totally agree with all the criticism in this thread .. the company and game itself is running a very fine line, and as many have said before they are pushing boundaries month after month. At certain points we'll each reach the end of our patience and make our choice to leave.

It's not blatant manipulation if it's possible to get both items by both farming and earning tickets. People are getting two and three fragments in one strong box.

I don't know why you're even complaining considering you stated very plainly in another thread that you only wanted one of the items anyway. Not only that, but that you weren't even going to bother putting in any effort to try and get it.

People have been complaining about not being able to buy more things with the tickets they have - ZOS added the pet/memento items to the impresario.

You don't see the blatant manipulation with making it cost more tickets to acquire a single of those two items than is possible to get during the entirety of the event?

There are 39 tickets (assuming you don't take days to download the new patch). It costs 35 for 7 parts. And that's assuming that you managed to not get any of the parts in your 13 boxes.
(I have 2 pet parts, and one memento part, so far.)

I grnded Mirmire on 13 characters for 12 hours on Thursday.. got 2 boxes, no fragments
Grinded Mirkmire on 13 characters, for 10 hours on Friday, 1 box, 1 Gravestone fragment
Currently grinding murkmire on 6 hours, (4 more to go) today, 1 box, no fragments

Why is it ok for some people to get the rewards and others to not? This is not extremely bad RNG, this is common from what I am hearing. Prove me wrong. Please. I've seen the one or two people with two fragments in a box. I still don't believe its ok.

I agree Pizzacat, we all paid our money for the game .. and possibly more for ESO+

We should all get a reasonable chance of getting the advertised event rewards.

Yep I agree this event is bad all over. Terrible drop rates, terrible rewards and the drop system is bad too. Not impressed by this event at all. I normally like to stay positive and subjective but I agree with the rest of the people complaining on this event sorry ZOS. :( Disappointed customer here.

It's not blatant manipulation if it's possible to get both items by both farming and earning tickets. People are getting two and three fragments in one strong box.

I don't know why you're even complaining considering you stated very plainly in another thread that you only wanted one of the items anyway. Not only that, but that you weren't even going to bother putting in any effort to try and get it.

i swear you just making things up to defend them. It is pathetic. People in my guilds are all havent the same issue, and everyone in the zone. getting one fragment every 3 to 4 boxes and getting a second box maybe within 4 to 5 hours of farming.

    so stop the lying

"I got a strongbox with 3 of the fragments in it."

It's the last post, Bob. Now, run along.

You're data doesn't refute the fact that people are getting multiple drops in a strongbox, so I guess that was pretty pointless. I see that we're pretending that screeching on the forums over an event is something brand new.

"Look, five people created a similar thread during an event! Gotcha!"

Could you get off my forum please? Or at least try to comprehend how everyone is being treated unfair besides the 1 percent that got 2-3 fragments in 1 box and 10 boxes a day. Are you even reading what people are saying or do you work for ZOS trying to troll us as well? If you don't have any real helpful information, then please see your way out.

Looks to me like the odds of getting more than one box per day is about 1 out of 10. And the odds of getting more than one fragment in a box is maybe 1 out of 100.

There are lots of folks participating in this event. With random number generator, if one out of a hundred boxes has more than one fragment, we would see a few folks posting that they are getting 2 or 3 fragments, which we are. And there are lots of folks (like me) posting that they are getting less than one fragment per box on average. So far, three day, three boxes, one fragment.

And in chat I am hearing that there are lots of folks getting only one box per day. Even though they (like me) are running multiple characters through the Murkmire dailies. In my case, I am trying to get all the motif chapters for Elder Argonian and Dead-Water for my crafter. And I am selling all the duplicate motif chapters. So I am fine with the low odds on my getting more than one box per day. And the low odds on my getting enough fragments to get the pet or the grave-stake for this event, because of the low average fragments per box.

But I can easily understand why folks who want to get the pet and/or the grave stake are very disappointed.
