Chose this answer as the most common scenario on my accounts. 7 accounts, 8 strongboxes, 2 fragments (one for memento and one for pet if I remember). I didn't spend more then 15 minutes getting tickets and the first strongbox on any account. On the account where I got a second strongbox it was still 15 minutes. I got tickets and one strongbox at the start of Tsofeer Cavern (doing daily, not doing quest, level 15 character), and the second strongbox from the delve boss at the end.

This event has finally helped me not to care anymore about whether I get the special rewards from their events. We have enough grinds in this game already. Events should be about celebrating something with nice rewards that aren't a complete grind to obtain.

I suppose they wanted to give players a reason to use their event tickets if they didn't want the indrik. But for players who want both the mount and the pet/memento?

If duplicate fragments drop after you have them in your collection, then it won't be so bad, as we can trade with other players. But I haven't heard that anyone has gotten any duplicates, mostly because the drop rate is so bad, both for getting a box (other than the guaranteed one) and even getting a fragment to drop.

This event is little more than just grinding the zone for the special boxes, rather than enjoying the zone. I want to spend as little time as possible in there moving forward, and that's after exactly one evening of the event. I'll get my tickets and one box and then get out and move on to something I'm going to enjoy. This doesn't bode well for future events.

I've only gotten 1 box so far (I was just going for the tickets, as soon as I had 3 I switched characters to play something else) and I'm not actually sure what I got from it but I was disappointed to see it was automatically added to my collections so there was no option to sell or trade it if I don't want the finished item and have no intention of getting all the pieces.

I'd much rather any pieces I do get end up with someone who actually wants them than stuck in my unfinished collection forever.

So far I've killed one world boss during this event, the one right next to a wayshrine. Got 3 tickets and 1 strongbox containing 1 memento fragment.

Not sure if I got super lucky or if they did some hotfix to the droprate. Seen a lot here on the forums like "farming 9h and no tickets". I hope they increased the droprate.

Day 1: I killed a couple of mobs in a delve and got a box with memento fragment.
Day 2: I killed a Wamasu and got a box with pet fragment.

Alternate account, the same as above with fragments received reversed.

Given the feedback about the low drop rates for extra strong boxes and fragments, I'm not spending any time farming. It's not worth it to me to spend time in a zone that I don't really enjoy all that much since I've finished all the achievements etc.

I was actually considering buying Murkmire for my 2nd NA mule account - to send loot back to my main - but not a chance with bound fragments; the abysmal drop rate; and what IMHO isn’t really much of a sale price for the DLC considering my main accounts got it for free.

I blasted through the Murkmire main quest line just before the event, to open up the Root Whisper daily - and absolutely LOVED it!

Just the guaranteed one box per day, so two boxes in first two days, with one fragment on one day and zero fragment on other day. I have been doing the dailies on multiple characters, but no second box on either day.
