Want to host a public, server-wide Open House for one or more of your homes?
Now you can with Essential Housing Tools...

To host a server-wide Open House:
Download Essential Housing Tools from Minion or ESOUI.com
Install the included Essential Housing Community app
Open the Housing Hub (ALT+H by default) and click "My Homes"
Click "Open House" next to one of your homes

Bytedefender does not like this file
like at all
i allow it to work but then it disinfects it anyway and when i restrore it the installation progress is *** because it keeps saying 'press okay to download; over and over

this is an amazing feature!

@NorthernNightmare Hi! I'm not sure after your edit/update if you are still experiencing an issue, but it sounds as though your Virus Scanner was taking issue with the app because it's downloaded and unsigned (I don't have a certificate to sign the app with as that costs several hundred dollars annually to maintain). Hopefully you were able to bypass the scanner though to get it working.

This sounds very awesome indeed.

Khajiit is presently awaiting a shipment or two of imported luxury goods from Elsweyr for Sugar Island.

This one may hold an open day after that perhaps, when she feels things are looking more as she would wish them to.

Possibly before then this one may hold an open day for Claws Temple Spa Resort. Perhaps even at Fishmas for the Fishmas Grotto.

Not this weekend though. Too many boxes to open …

@R_K no luck.... Ive turned it off but when I still hit okay it goes away... a few seconds pass... then it says hit okay again ;w;

@NorthernNightmare That's strange -- I haven't seen the bypass fail on any scanners yet during the Beta. Question: Would you be able to post or mail me privately a screen capture? I'd like to see the message(s)/pop-up(s) if at all possible.

This one popped in on a couple of homes late yesterday.

Most impressive and a very nice way to unwind between the present intense pursuit of anniversary boxes.

This one thinks she may make a regular habit of house calling.

Perhaps even have an open day at the temple soonish. Tentatively pencilled in for next Sunday perhaps.

Khajiit has today opened up The Tavern in the Dust in scenic Bangkorai for any thirsty travellers who may be passing through.

Small but equipped with everything you need - drink and chairs.

This one also has questions yes - if you open a house is it open for 24 hours by default or do you need to close it again? If so how do you close it? Or can you just leave a house open always - this one would like to do that with a few places yes.

Also, great question. So, when you click "Open House" you are registering that home as a publicly listed home - and no limits are imposed on how long you can list the home. If you do decide that you want to remove the home's listing, you can do so at any time by clicking that same "Open House" button again.

I should also add: you can toggle the Open House status to add/remove a home from the list whenever and however many times you would like, for any and all of your homes. So if you want to host one open house, or 20, go ahead.

My goal with this feature was to give players a way to extend the invitation to see their builds to the widest audience possible; with the help of the community, I would love for this to be the first of many features that can connect players from all corners of the game -- regardless of alliance, guild, etc.

Ah most excellent. This one will open up the tavern, the mall and the temple for good then and perhaps only close them occasionally for guild events. Also at Fishmas this one will open up the Fishmas Grotto.

Khajiit also wonders if there is a way of displaying the name the owner has chosen? That way you know if you are popping into a tavern or a temple and can dress in the right way.
