Even with vamp bug and month 1 gameplay, atleast neighbor was fighting players

One of the first GOs used to sit in suicide resources with a macro to avoid disconnect. Some of the outraged people in this thread did not seem to think less of him.
Others didn't mind it when they boosted AP because it was a sacrifice they had to make to ensure a player they did not like could not be emp.
This game already had almost no integrity -- especially at the top.

Always the best reasoning.
If you do something "wrong" point the finger towards everyone else who also did.
But you know what? In terms ob abusing shady game mechanics i´m in a comfortable position to throw the fist stone - and if i get the chance i´ll gladly do it. A big one.

as they just did with the whole pvp Content.
im sure all the trophys will look awesome in my hous from all the vtrails, i prolly will never have
Pay for a group to carry you, and you will. Same difference.
what about mealstorm? well i have the titel and gear from it, what about others?
Well you can pay for a friend to do the run for you on your account. Got quite a few pvp friends who did it that way (though all of this is hearsay, obviously). Pm me for more hypothetical details
Otherwise, if you're only interested in weapons, prior to this patch you could skip rooms 3 to 9, which many people crying now about the AP farming did. Now though, same solution applies. Pay someone or ask a friend nicely to run it for you. Who knows, you might even get into the weeklies.
Kinda makes you wonder how many weekly runs were done by the same person. Huehuehuehue
i think its a differeence to exploit for a bound weapon that doesnt affect the market or to ruin a whole market.
also i know ppls who run it 200 times and still dont have a weapon they need
And I know people who opened 1k spinner boxes without getting a sharpened sword. Same difference.
And I wasn't talking about the effect on the market. I was talking about the same idea of getting something others have worked hard for in an easy and morally cheap way.
they could just buy the spinner. no Need to exploit 10mil ap for it
With what money. You said it yourself, pvp players make money by selling motifs and overland boxes.
yea, and that Option just died
Well exactly, and as I said, that's a thing you can rightfully cry about. But what I don't understand is why people that previously completely disregarded, nay participated in some game-breaking bugs and exploits like vMSA, TBS, Hist, Imperial Physique, Salvation etc. now QQ regarding the AP farm.

anyone else remember @Xsorus bash o matic 9000?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jzKJi_aCBg
you know this game just goes through seasons of op flavor of the month XD
my point is, there has ALWAYS been some form of cheese to "exploit" for mass AP, and no form of cheese is any less or more cheezy then the other. plus AP does not matter anyway so yeah.
Almost all grand overlords in the game have taken advantage of broken/op sets and skills, or account shared and other questionable actions but somehow ap farming at a keep is worse lol the hypocrisy on these forums is funny.

Tavore1138 wrote: »The real problem with this situation is that this is not a bug nor is it an exploit in the traditional sense - this is game mechanic that ZOS changed for Homestead and then doubled for an event - some people have been flipping these things for 6k AP since that patch landed so it's hardly a shock that people are doing it for 12k AP now.
For ZOS to punish people doing this would call into question every form of AP trading ever done from friends killing friends on other alliances, people switching alliances to steal scrolls and all the other less than honorable activities that have been allowed as part of the rough and tumble of the PvP game.
The real requirement here is that ZOS need to take a long hard look at this and address the number of AP for a keep capture in future.
100 AP was always too low to encourage playing for the campaign.
6000 AP is clearly too high.
Lets hope we see this addressed. Personally I'd suggest making ti around 1k - still 10 times what it was but also not enough to make flipping it more profitable than actually playing PvP.
Player 1: Hey, lets go do some pvp!
Player 2: I am in Haderus @bleakers join me
Player 1: Ye but I want some real pvp where we fight people
Player 2: sorry no can do, need that juicy AP!

Player 1: /sadface ok i go fish

If you're in a pvp guild who only wants to do AFK AP farming that is boring AF, then you're in the wrong pvp guild.
AbraXuSeXile wrote: »Yeah ive seen people from every guild farming it, some even went after their guild raid tried wipe it.
My favourite ones are them who say they go to ruin it and pvp but in reality theyve sat in the outpost many hours and killed a few afk players.
How does double AP make anyone that got GO this week easier that it was for anyone else? It's one less week of grinding, that's all. It's not as if the AP was handed to them.
There was no outpost/keep flipping going on in PC NA. Those players that gained those ranks would have by the end of next week if they played as hard and as often as they did this week.
Honestly there should be move events like this one in Cyrodiil. The place has grown stale. At least this week there was some excitement. The only real downside was the influx of zergs and the ridiculous queues. Yet those zerg wipes were very juicy.
As for those "super easy kills" you speak of, sure, people are more squishy without CP, yet everyone does a whole hell of a lot less damage. It equals out.
