It amazes me what entitled jerks people are. By all means, please enlighten us on your extensive experience with testing major software. They don't take down servers lightly - they did it because an exploit was discovered. However, in your estimation, they have no idea what they are doing. Go you! You are an expert on the internet.

btw... were you ever on the pts? did you already take a peak at the posts from today talking about bugs that have been reported during pts phase and still made it to the live servers? maybe there's a good reason why people are making posts like this...

They state there when they are not adding fixes anymore in the patches. It means they are focusing on the more importand things - fixing things to get live, but they have noted what have been found to add in a future planned patch. As long as they are not critical, after the stop they are never fixed until a later planned patch, not at the release.

Don't make it too obvious you are part of their programmers team. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Just letting you know there is really qualitative software in the world, and you should always improve to be able to deliver the best product to your customers. If I WAIT on patch day to download the update, I know that most (some) (maybe) of the gamebreaking bugs will be fixed.
Downside: I could be missing out on getting A MILLION MATS FROM CRAFTING BAG GLITCHES!
Upside: I could be missing out on having my ENTIRE BANK INVENTORY AND UPGRADES RESET!
Downside: I could be missing out on having GLORIOUSLY OVERPOWERED GLITCHED GEAR!
Upside: I could be missing out on having my HEALS GLITCHING TO DO SELF-DAMAGE!
If I DON'T wait to download the patch and get online immediately, then simply take the upsides and downsides from above and reverse them.

I have left instructions with my attys. to begin legal action against ZOS if I am harmed in any way. (I have heard rumors that yellow ball burns people!)

I think its been mentioned before in this thread, not EVERYTHING can be tested on the PTS and the PTS is WAY DIFFERENT then the LIVE server. Unfortunately, not everything can be found on the PTS.
Maybe if there were more people testing, we could have found more bugs. But it was really empty after the first week.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.
