mine is slow too - will take about 5.5 hours as it seems - but the servers will be down for like 7+ more hours, so I will be fine and you eventually as well.0 -

✭✭✭I just finished the download. ESO uses 76 GB on the hard drive, with German and English VO, just 6 GB less than before. The best thing is that I have just tried to start the client, but this is rejected with the indication that the client is out of date.

I have already downloaded and applied the patch. I even had to run Repair option, cause on the last 0.02 megabytes of applying patch the launcher gave me "Unknown error"... Totally I've downloaded 67 gigs, but the game still uses 82 gigs on my drive.
I wonder if manually removing the game folder before running launcher would make a difference, like I did for PTS to test Update 25. PTS folder takes 66 gigs on my drive.0 -

For some reason, Steam installs the audio files for all three languages. In contrast, ZOS's launcher only downloads and installs the audio for the language that you selected. You can delete the excess audio files, though.

Thanks, didn't even consider that. So that knocks it down by 22GB and brings it inline with what people here are saying. Not that I'm hurting for space, but still...
