I think ZOS paid for a better CDN this time? This is a much faster download rate than what I've gotten for previous major updates.

You should see folders named "depot", "game", "vo_en", "vo_fr", "vo_de". Delete the two "vo_" folders that are not relevant to you.
Good to know, had no clue about this.
However, isn't the launcher going to re-download the whole damm thing (the 2 "unused" languages) on the next update ?
It took about 90 minutes for the whole process to be completed on my PC.
I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth it all went.

Reinstalling a fresh copy via Steam. I deleted the game last night because I’m moving ESO to a different drive.
I’m reasonably sure that once it’s downloaded I’m going to find out I download the old game and will have to redone load a third time.

By clicking the big button on the bottom right on the launcher.
Same as with every patch and every maintenance.

Which one did you get?- We have Telstra 100Mb/s down, 40Mb/s up, fiber optics to the house.
Generally speaking, the fastest household internet speeds that you can expect in Australia are around 100 megabits per second (Mbps) downloading, and 40Mbps uploading. 100Mbps means you can download around 12.5 megabytes of content per second.

Just in case anyone thinks that actually means 100mb/s.....

Our television streaming and *** needs are met with a slightly cheaper plan.
Also generally our gaming needs. Just not when ZO schedules a complete re-download of their client in the middle of an event.
