The Elder Scrolls Online v3.3.2 is an incremental patch that includes several combat and itemization balance adjustments and bug fixes, in addition to some improvements for long loading screens (including in Cyrodiil) and a number of bug fixes spanning several systems and zones. We’ve copied all European megaserver characters for this patch, which is approximately 149MB in size. Thanks for all your continued feedback!

A number of world bosses have installed thick metal backplates in response to a recent publication of “An Occultist’s Guide to Preternatural Stabbing,” which included a brief description of the Blade of Woe.

Figure

Fixed an issue where the Guild Heraldry Tabard would clip through the Fang Lair Homespun, Rawhide armor.
The Fang Lair Rawhide chest no longer distorts when female characters raise their arms.
Fixed an issue where arms would bend unnaturally in combat while wearing Fang Lair Homespun armor.
Fixed an issue with the Scalecaller Homespun armor relating to how the helmet appears on Khajiit and Argonian females when crouched.

General

Fixed an issue where the Worm Wizard Personality awarded from the "Fang Lair Challenger" achievement listed that it was purchased from the Crown Store, and would not appear in the list of Personalities until you acquired it.
Headpieces in the Thorvukan and Zaan sets are now Bind on Pickup Tradeable, as intended.

Achievements

Fungi Free: This achievement is now awarded for defeating the Cadaverous Menagerie without anyone in your group taking damage from Volatile Fungi in Veteran Fang Lair.
Watch Your Step: This achievement now requires you to defeat Matriarch Aldis without any member of your group taking damage from the water that surrounds her during the fight in Veteran Scalecaller Peak.

General

The “Resurrect Ally” ability can now always be interrupted, even if the enemy player has crowd-control immunity.

Dragonknight

Ardent Flame
- Flame Lash (Lava Whip morph): The Power Lash attack from this morph now has a 3 second cooldown.
- Lava Whip: This ability and its morphs no longer have a cooldown when they can set the enemy target Off Balance. Striking a stunned or immobile enemy will always set them Off Balance.

Nightblade

Assassination
- Grim Focus: The stacks you build toward the bow proc for this ability and its morphs will now remain if you recast the ability early, or if the ability expires. The partial stack will be removed if you exit combat.
  - Known Issue: The bow proc will sometimes not play its distinct audio cue.
  Developer Comment:
  This change makes the ability effectiveness more consistent among players of different skill levels. It still rewards more skilled play, but is less punishing when someone makes a mistake.
Shadow
- Shadow Image (Summon Shade morph): If you are further than 28 meters away from your shade, this morph will now revert back to allowing you to summon a new shade, rather than letting you attempt to teleport to the shade and fail.
Siphoning
- Malevolent Offering: Reduced the health cost of this ability and the Healthy Offering morph to 4925 from 6751.
- Shrewd Offering (Malevolent Offering morph): Reduced the health cost of this morph to 4320 from 5940.
  - Known Issue: The tooltip still displays the old cost value.

Templar

Aedric Spear
- Puncturing Strikes: Increased the width of the damage area of this ability and its morphs by 1 meter. It now hits targets in an 8x6 rectangle in front of you (8 meters long, 6 meters wide), previously 8x5.
  Developer Comment:
  This change will help Templars land jabs more consistently, particularly while strafing.

World

Soul Magic
- Soul Assault: This ability and its morphs no longer snare the enemy target.
  Developer Comment:
  One of the main counters to channeled abilities is being able to break light of sight/out range the ability, which is extremely difficult when faced with a 70% snare.

General

Fixed an issue where you could maintain the Off Balance debuff against boss enemies indefinitely.
Fixed an issue where the Health Recovery reduction from Major and Minor Defile was not reducing Health Recovery increases from some sources, such as drink buffs or the Troll King Item Set.

Dragonknight

Ardent Flame
- Flame Lash (Lava Whip morph): Fixed an issue where the Power Lash attack from this morph could not be dodged.
Draconic Power
- Reflective Scale: Fixed an issue where recasting this ability and its morphs would not refresh the amount of projectile reflections allowed.
Earthen Heart
- Ash Cloud: Fixed an issue where this ability and its morphs could sometimes expire early, causing you to miss the final tick of damage.

Nightblade

Shadow
- Shadow Image (Summon Shade moprh): Fixed an issue where teleporting or attempting to teleport to your shade would cause you to lose some character functionality, such as the ability to mount or interact with objects.

Templar

Aedric Spear
- Puncturing Strikes:
  - Fixed an issue where the damage done to the primary target from this ability and its morphs was slightly lower than intended.
  - Fixed an issue where the spear thrust animation and the impact sounds from this ability and its morphs were not visually aligned.
- Puncturing Sweep (Puncturing Strikes morph): Fixed an issue where this morph was not healing the caster.

Item Sets

Caluurion’s Legacy: This Item Set’s proc now spawns the lich shoulder visual immediately, but has a 1 second delay before it fires the projectile at the enemy target.
Developer Comment:
This will telegraph the incoming damage burst from the set so enemies have time to respond.

Plague Slinger:
- The Skeever corpse summoned by this Item Set’s proc now lasts 4 seconds, down from 6 seconds, but it now fires projectiles at enemies every 1 second, down from 1.5 seconds.
- Increased the speed of the projectile fired from this Item Set’s proc by 50%.
Developer Comment:
This set was a bit too easy to avoid, so we’ve increased the speed at which it delivers its damage.

Seventh Legion Brute: This Item Set’s proc now has a 2 second cooldown.
Developer Comment:
This set was scaling too effectively when fighting more than one opponent; the short cooldown brings the set more in line with what was originally intended.
Zaan:
- This Item Set’s proc now occurs on any Light or Heavy Attack, instead of only critical strikes with Light or Heavy Attacks, but the proc chance has been reduced to 20% from 100%.
- Increased the cooldown of this Item Set’s proc to 18 seconds from 15 seconds.
Developer Comment:
This monster set was over performing - by reducing both the reliability and uptime of the proc, these changes bring the overall DPS of this set more in-line with other Monster sets.

Item Sets

Grand Rejuvenation: Fixed an issue where the Stamina restore from this Item Set’s proc was not centered on the Grand Healing cast.
Plague Slinger: Fixed an issue where the projectiles fired from this Item Set’s proc were removing enemies from stealth or invisibility.

General

Slightly increased the Forward Camp deployment radius to prevent placement on inner Keep structures.
Slightly increased the Forward Camp deployment angle checks to allow for more forgiving placement on terrain.

Itemization

Consolidated the armor rewards for winning a 30-day campaign into a single “Champion’s Cache” container. This also resolves the issue where you would sometimes see a question mark as the 7th reward item in your mail.

Figure

Kneepads no longer float when female characters equip the Silken Ring boots.
The Emperor’s Regalia Costume has been reverted to its original state.

Animation

Master Writ Vendor Faustina Curio now holds the scroll in her hands correctly.

Monster Abilities

NPC Dragonknights have renewed their contract with the guild of flags and standards. NPC Dragonknights across Tamriel once again unfurl standards upon their foes.

General

Fixed an issue that caused certain recipes to not appear on the PTS.

Alchemy

Adjusted the duration for all Immovable potions. The base duration has been reduced from a cap of 12.5 seconds to 8 seconds, leading to a Medicinal Use maximum of 10.4 seconds.

Outfit System

Reduced the price of the Outfit Station furnishing to 500 Writ Vouchers from 1500.
You can now complete the “Fully Styled” achievement across multiple transactions, instead of having to change all eight slots at once.
Changing any of your Outfit Styles no longer replays the unsheathe effect for your weapon enchantment.
The Help Menu entry for the Outfit System now includes an image showcasing the Outfit Station.

Outfit Styles

Acquiring the “Convert to Morag Tong” or “Convert to Imperial” upgrades now correctly grants you the associated Outfit Styles.
The Ancient Elf Staff 3 Outfit Style is now available once you have learned the Ancient Elf crafting Motif.
Learning the Dark Brotherhood style now correctly grants knowledge of the Dark Brotherhood Jerkin Armor Style.

General

Added an additional purchasable character slot.
The look of the Telvanni Master Wizard Costume now matches what’s advertised in the Crown Store image.

General

Fixed an issue where some Daedric chests had a chance to contain Crackling Lodestones (the monster trophy rarely found when defeating Storm Atronachs).

General

Fixed an issue that caused Target Dummies to have incorrect names when viewed in a home.

Homes

Made a number of improvements to the maps for The Erstwhile Sanctuary and Princely Dawnlight Palace.
Exiting the preview of the Coldharbour Surreal Estate now correctly returns you to your previous location, instead of putting you outside the front door.

Storage Furnishings

The “Storage Coffer, Fortified” collectible can now only be obtained from the Level Up Advisor at level 18.
Adjusted text on collectible storage furnishings for improved clarity and consistency.
Fixed an issue where the gold in your personal bank or guild bank could appear when viewing the contents of a storage furnishing.

General

Implemented some fixes and improvements to ensure more consistent load times, and reduce the frequency of long load screens. Please let us know if you’re continuing to run into long loading screens while on the PTS.
- Note: There may still be some remaining load screen issues related to grouping, and are still investigating those.

Craglorn

Dawn of the Exalted Viper: Regnet Cassipia will no longer be hanging around outside of Serpent's Nest after the events of this quest.

General

Items that are bound to your current character are now referred to as "Character Bound" in the tooltip. All functionality remains the same.
Fixed an issue where you could get stuck in the conversation window when attempting to open another UI window after beginning a conversation.
Fixed an issue where the camera would jerk when navigating to the Skills menu from any other menu.
Updated a number of temporary icons and images with their final images.

Gamepad Mode

Fixed an issue in the Crown Store where switching between screens could cause parts of one screen to appear on top of another.
Navigating through the Skills Advisor will now bring you back to the advised skills list when appropriate.
Fixed a UI error that could occur when using the text search for Outfit Styles.

Gameplay

Guild reputation gains will now appear in the Loot History UI.
Fixed an issue where the rank of your morphs could appear incorrect in the Skills Advisor.
Adjusted the messaging in the Skills Advisor when the learned morph isn't the recommended morph.
Fixed a UI error that could occur when learning an ability.

Housing

Removed references to gold on the Home Storage UI as you cannot actually store gold in them.
Updated the error messaging when attempting to store character bound items in a storage furnishing.

Outfit System

Updated the iconography for Outfit Change Tokens.
Fixed an issue where using "Dye All" would cost more gold than intended.
You will no longer lose any changes when going back into an Outfit Station after choosing to Buy Outfit Tokens from it.
Fixed an issue that could prevent you from exiting the Outfit Station.
Fixed an issue where Dye All and Randomize dyes would not dye shields on your other weapon bar.

RIP Magicka DKs in PvE for now. Honestly, at some point i gotta wonder whether you guys dont play your game. Magicka DK damage is tied to off-balance and how do you expect them to sustain? how do you want them to be included in any group?

16% off-balance at maximum. Power lash cooldown is ridiculous as well for PvE.

I can already predict that off-balance will be erased from raids. Guaranteed.

I'm happy you guys fixed the bugs related to the DK wings, but has the fossilize bug already been dealt with where it is sometimes not possible to root someone who is not using anything that causes immovability?

Edit: I think overall MagDK is one of the most left behind classes, it performs well in duels and in big groups in Cyrodiil, but that is it. PVE wise it is a problem. I hope to see some MagDK and StamDK love in the future, I hope you guys actually read the forum posts of DK's and start working towards something they propose, because all I see are bug fixes and nerfs.

Why did you create all this new interrupt mechanic first of all? - To add exceptions to it?

My advice: roll this new interrupt mechanic back - It is so simple and reliable now on live servers - you are going to make it very bad with tons of adjustment layers.

Why are NB cancerous playstyles rewarded but sorcs not? You can literally spam shadow and teleport to different location all while having best class burst skills but we cant even streak more than 4-6 times without having all our magicka gone. Soul assault now allows them to LoS us even more easily. Every class has a hard counter to many of our skills WTF

Even if they wanted to go for that, why going from 70% to 0%? Hello?? Where's is the balance?
Why not reducing it to 50 or 30%? Going slower is natural for that ability.
Not to mention that Soul Assault was one of main abilities to "fix" erratic NBs on steroids.

RIP MagDK in PVE. I already started playing more StamDK and this just kills MagDK for me. Why bother when StamDK does more DPS, has infinite sustain and a braindead easy rotation compared to MagDK?

Me as well as others have been posting for months not to have MagDK's sustain so tied to off balance and this is what we get ):

This plus lower off-balance uptime...RIP.

Nerfing Flame Lash is such a lazy way of dealing with the terrible, terrible proposed off balance system. The new system doesn't add anything "strategic" to combat. It just slows DPS. No PVE players is going to have time to deal with all the stuns, roots, immobilization mechanics the new dungeons throw at them and think, "oh the boss is off balance, I should heavy attack now."

Get rid of the changes to off balance. Please. For the good of this game. And for once, quit nerfing DKs at every opportunity. You've successfully neutered PVP stamDKs, and no one wants to bring magDKs to PVE. The Flame Lash change just knocks magDK down another peg.

If you are so hell bent on the off balance changes, don't put a cool down on Flame Lash. Give it a maximum number of times you can spam it, like 3.

I'm a little happy about the NB buff, but tbh it is really unneeded compared to dks spammable, at least if you rip dat, lower the cost of the Molten Whip

No proc expiration when fully charged?

And I guess sorcs will cry to preserve their frag proc too now.
