Thank you to all the ZOS team that set aside their holiday weekend plans and time with family & friends to address the issue of 3rd party software cheats. Time for a little love to flow your way; haters will always hate and are always the quickest to chirp. In this case, time to shout out to the team - thank you!

Okay so I have a Cadillac CTS.
GM forgets to put in the airbag sensor.
GM knows for a couple of years that they forgot to install the sensor.
It takes not only dozens of complaints, but thousands of serious injuries and deaths until they finally decide to do a recall.
Should I be thanking GM?
ZOSE, Go [SNIP] yourself.

Zos should just disallow all add ons on pc.....problem solved.
It seems some took my comment as if I was saying hacking in an MMO is on par with killing people, this is not the case. I'm comparing what it would be like if ZOS were to do this in an industry that had real consequences for poor management.
I shall make it blatantly obvious for you snowflakes.
The absolute worst case scenario for an automotive company would be having knowledge of a potentially lethal defect and taking no action against it until enough people complain.
In an MMO; having knowledge of an easily obtainable program that could enable flying around, unlimited resources & ultimate, and skew competitive leaderboards etc. is just as critical in that particular industry.

You couldn't sound more salty getting upset at people being positive if you tried . That's as salty as it gets !
If you're not thankful cool . I'm not gonna jump in your bath water and splash around telling you that you should be .
This kind of troll post really gets boring by now.Zos should just disallow all add ons on pc.....problem solved.

It reinforces their poor management, it's patting people on the back for being awful at their job.
It's like giving students a passing grade even though they failed. It's like giving out trophies for losing.
It's like they've known about this issue for TWO WHOLE YEARS and didn't do anything about it until it was too late.
It's like watching someone drown and then throwing out the life jacket after it's too late.
For those that don't know, @Crown and some others literally went to ZOS HQ and demonstrated exactly how to do this in Feb 2015 and they did nothing about it.

@Jules We did. Over a year ago. When that guy (that nobody is allowed to mention) would never die, took about 1% of the damage that he should have with 20+ people spamming damage on him for 3 minutes, and so many people claimed that "his build was OP" yet there was no possible way that much mitigation would be possible with any build.. Remember that guy? He stopped using that particular exploit when the memory obfuscation patch came out, changed toons, and started again about a month later because obfuscation was a quick fix that wasn't followed up upon and it was easy enough to bypass. For those that don't know, @Crown and some others literally went to ZOS HQ and demonstrated exactly how to do this in Feb 2015 and they did nothing about it.
@_Chaos We didn't go physically, though we talked about it with them. Many people from Netflix & Chill were there. I asked if I would be allowed to use my own account to demonstrate on stream or make a vid showing how it works and was told that I would be banned regardless of intent if I did so. I thus provided three videos of other people using it, a copy of the code (raw and compiled), with detailed explanations of how it was working. There was never any official response. I applaud Zazeer, who sacrificed his own account to make this public. Even though I'll probably never come back and play as I used to, I still love my character and wouldn't want to lose my account.Roehamad_Ali wrote: »If you guys knew about it in 2015 , reported it in person , got no response , the real question is Why didn't you leave then ? Our confidence in ZOS went out the window long before that, but we still loved the game. Most of us still do, though won't even consider coming back to play unless things get a LOT better (notably lag in PvP).
