Wonder if the exploiters will get their items removed from inventory and a slap on the wrist.. or will ZOS again prove the slogan: Exploit Early, Exploit Often!

Last time people found a way to dup Dreugh Wax, they handed out punishments.. doubt they'll do anything with this exploit though.. but I bet some people exploited to get a nice stack of Kutas and other epic mats.

We have data showing who has been exploiting, and will be taking the appropriate actions.

The only thing they will do is make us we eu players waste 2 hours in peak time, the exploiters will continue playing and happy.

I don't agree. If Zeni knows and I assume they know who exploited, they should take actions against those players. It is unacceptable to shut down servers in prime time. Again I do agree they need to fix the exploit, but not in prime time.

If it has to be done at this time, so be it. I presume the necessity of the fix trumps the inconvenience it will cause.

Errr no. A few players hold all the mats and corner the market....raising prices as they can flood the market at whatever price they deem fit.

Thats why in real life you have monopolies commissions so big companies (trading guilds) cant do this.

No, stop you saying nonsense. The exploit has been running almost a day or more an they chose the WORST hours to fix it.

When you started playing this game you've accepted all TOS/EULA rules so it makes lot of sense to take down server whenever they want.

LOL 1 day,most likely since the Banker npc arrived in the crownstore,thanks to the player who brought it up on forum and the fix is on the way.

We discovered some game breaking bugs for you guys. we couldn't play because the mechanics in maw were broken. Then you inform us what the problem was BUT the fix will not come for over a week even though there was an inhouse fix already. meaning that we cannot complete maw because of this game breaking bug. Then u learn of a exploit that probably a few people know of and you throw down the server on a friday evening? are you guys drunk?? no seriously. are u drunk?

what about a server message warning exploiters that they will be banned, and push the hotfix late night instead of friday primetime ? (and maybe, really ban them for a change)

@ZOS_GinaBruno A couple of hours? A far simpler and better fix (might even be doable entirely server-side) would've been to just make the surveys character-bound like the collectible monster trophies. The fix you guys are putting in sounds more complicated and annoying. (I sometimes pass by survey sites on my way to do something else, and I don't want to stop and collect the survey mats because I'm busy.)

Is not a way to fix something. People discovered a bug and they decide to fix it in prime eu time. Maybe it would have been better not to say a word cause those exploiters will continue playing and all will be fine.

But read the TOS/EULA. I guess the TOS/EULA doesnt say a word about creating exploits because of bad programming and then punishing players who are not exploiting a thing.

Making them character bound would make no difference to the exploit...
