How would you feel if they left the exploit go and in a few weeks you end up having to pay 50k for each gold mat you want? Thats what would happe
What? lol A massive influx of gold mats would drive the price down, not magically up. If there are a lot more in the market then price drops. If there is one gold mat in the market then it sells for 1 mil, if there are 1 mil gold mats in the market then it sells for.. 200?

Just because some people gathered some tempers, well when you had fixed it monday morning that should have been early enough I suppose!
But now you are stealing MY TIME!
I am ESO-Plusgamer, but that will not last very long any more!
I know you don´t care, but I doesn´t as well anymore!
You don´t do anything for those who pay, convenience is a rare word in ESO!

Put their toons in cages and display them inside the 3 major cities ( wayrest, mournhold, eldenroot ) and let us throw tomatos at them.

Couple HOURS? Good night I guess... Its 8pm in EU.

Maybe a unique mount or so...
This would keep the honest honest, as there might be something to gain. :P

Wait until monday? In a matter of hours players had accumulated 10s of thousands of resources and you want to leave it rolling all weekend? This is for the better for everyone. It's like a 'this is for your own good' moment whether you realize it or not.
Nicely said, but I still want a unique mount as reward for being a fair player. :PThese people... Can't eat enough to be able to vomit as much as I want to. (and I'm talking about you, dear fellow players who complain about the downtime).
Thank you ZOS (@ZOS_GinaBruno in place of all other employees on the forum) for your very first time really quick and appropriate reaction upon discovery of an exploit. I only read today about its existence and you took down the servers to deploy a hotfix on the same day.
This is how it is supposed to be. Continue this. Even more promising is the first ever open admittance of disciplinary action targeted at exploiters. This is what I and many players like me have been waiting for for nigh on two years.
This time, the silent majority is firmly in your corner.

lol. just ignore the fact that all other exploits have completely been ignored (game breaking bugs aside). the time for the downtime es even the worse joke. it simply states that they don't care at all about the EU player base. just ***ing on their customers.

You dont understand "cornering the market" you are referring to basic supply and demand, which isnt the case when a few people hold all the supply they can demand what they want.
if they have the data they could have left it till later 2night no ?

If I understood well the exploit has something to do with banker, which was added in game already loooong time ago. Surely 2 days would not make a huge difference anymore.
clocksstoppe wrote: »if they have the data they could have left it till later 2night no ?
No because then if they trade these exploited materials to genuine players it becomes a nightmare to handle.
But i still think it's unacceptable for an emergency small bugfix to take a few hours to patch, like seriously?

But nothing has happened to the normal supply of these nor the normal sellers. There is an influx of gold tempers but they are put up for 50k? Nobody would be buying them as I can grab a couple an hour myself just by gathering mats. My time is not worth that and I doubt many people's time is. These people can 'corner the market' with or without having a load of gold tempers. Them getting a large amount of them doesn't take anything away from anyone else getting them legitly.

A thread about the exploit was posted today in the forums, so ALOT of players learned about it today. Before that it was just Word of mouth.

Mate, I'm with you completely. There is so much to be done and so little progress on so many things, that I have long since given up.Septimus_Magna wrote: »@Leandor
Although I agree its good that ZOS takes immediate action to prevent further exploits, its frustrating to watch such an issue being fixed instantly (even during weekend prime time) while other issues stay in the game for months or even years.
Issues that annoy hundreds of players each and every day get brushed away like its nothing but this gets fixed instantly.
There only seems to be a hurry to fix something if its in ZOS' best interest, if its in the players best interest you can usually expect to hear that it might get fixed in the next major update, which too often isnt the case.
