There is something missing in ESO for all of us TES fans.
The game has been developing nicely as a ES title since release IMO, but there are some important things from the TES franchise, that I really hope make it into ESO.
To start simple,
Housing (with customisation).
1st person mount riding.
Item equip able torches (so I can move with one in hand).

✭There was no first person mount riding in Skyrim...but it is something I think could be cool t see I implemented into ESO. I think housing is one of the biggest missing TES features atm. 1st person horse riding was in Oblivion, and tbh I wasn't pleased it wasn't in Skyrim.
Proper torches we can move around with.
These two alone really need to be implemented in ESO, as a lot of the TES community have been asking for these two since launch, and it's not much to ask.

✭Some music from previous TES titles, and few minutes of silence in between a few tracks here and there.
Again great for immersion, and again also, features from previous TES titles.
We can only hope zos doesn't forget the small details, which made TES the best game series I have ever played.

ES lore specifies that offspring inherit their mother's race. So there's really no concept of mixed races in TES.0 -

Child NPC's would make the world more believable, they just need to not be obnoxious like the ones in Skyrim were.
So often you have to deal with princes and princesses and daughters and they're.... like 40.
Housing tops my list since spellcrafting is something they're already working on.
Next up would be artifacts/unique items to find, but I can see how that wouldn't really work in an MMO.
Finally the ability to drop items from your inventory into the world, or grip things and drag them from one location to another.1 -

That was my honest opinion.
ESO has many beautiful aspects but when you look behind the curtains it's just bland.
Soul is the thing that ESO is missing and I don't know if it would have been better when Bethesda would've developed it.0 -

I couldn't agree with you more. I think the 1-50 experience makes for an enjoyable MMO and the world building at times is pretty breath-taking (that said, Skyrim was no worse and in some ways better), so as an MMO I'm happy, but it's not really a 'TES' game for me, so many aspects of the games Bethesda have done are missing and the lore, which so co central to TES 2-5, in ESO is often tangential if not downright irrelevant.
For me the major disconnect is the artificial faction system solely implemented to form a basis for PVP and which has resulted in a fractured playerbase as well as three unconnected story lines none of which have any real (or at times ANY) connection with the main story 1-50 .. and of course post-50 the game is entirely different (group only, loot driven, minimal story or progression except in the phat lewt department).
Yes, the game as well as our character is soul-less .. and sadly, unlike our character, the game never regains its'.0
