Groups that should have skill-lines?

Have you come across or joined any groups that you wish had a skill-line of their own?

Personally, I really like the Ash'abah. I was honored to join them and was disappointed they didn't have a skill-line dedicated to them. It's ok though, true honor need not a skill-tree.

It would be interesting to have one "fraction" guild each for players to meddle with. Seeing how the Ash'abah are covenant/redgaurd-ish... possibly even one per race?

I can think of a few groups in the game... some you sort of semi-officially join like the Ash'abah, remember the Brackleaf Briars quest? Or Deshans wizarding school Shad Astula?

Of course, I can think of some others too... from Morag Tong, to Thalmor, from Vinedusk Rangers to Ring of Daggers, from Lion Guard to Shadowscales... some more likely for players to gain entrace to then others.

And I for one would love more skill lines, especially if there was an "one out of all those choices" limitation, for more character diversity...

I believe they will introduce Thiefs Guild and Guard skill lines in the near future. Hopefully in Update 6 but I think they will save it for Update 7 when the Justice System is tested a little longer.

It would be great to have more skill lines available to further diversify builds, as long as they made it a trade off like Vampire and Werewolf skill lines.

Idea is cool but they should be Faction limited to not break Lore and that would lead to PvE / PvP Unbalance, Companions other then EP? I dont think soo

You're right, if they added a faction specific skill line they would have to add 3 at a time. One for each faction.

Oh, indeed, if there was one fraction skill line, there need to be three. And possibly an "only from your main fraction" limit for those who do cadwells silver/gold...

However, there could easily be other group skill lines available for all. How about... religion? We have eight Divines, and some Daedric Princes... each could get a fan grou... eh, I mean, clergy, with assorted skill and passives line...

There could even be class limitations for following divine or demonic powers. Like, Vamires should be incapable of choosing any (just play their initiation quest as to why), while Werewolves kinda choose Hircine already, Templars can only join Divine (since they obviously use aedric magic), Sorcerors can only join Daedric (that dark magic and daedra summoning is a bit of a giveaway...), DKs and NBs can do what they want... and of course, only one power could be choosen to follow (but you can leave one and join another, though the sespec would cost...).

I wasn't even thinking about the skill-lines for Vampires and Werewolves. The characters I play aren't at all interested in becoming either, and if they do, they'll do all they can to cure their affliction. So those characters don't really have optional skill-trees to benefit from. I like the idea that players different skill-trees they aren't committed to.

    Good idea!

Dark Brotherhood is announced to be coming, someday. I would expect them to arrive in the next phase of the justice system, together with the thieves guild, or something like that. No idea when this will be, of course. But those two at the very least we know we'll get sooner or later.

Anything else... who knows? It will depend on the developers plans, what fits in the content they are working on, and maybe what they expect will get a lot of people to buy the DLC it comes with... (since from now on most new content will be DLC-style, to be paid for extra from all who are not "plus")
