Aw shucks, I’m honored, but I don’t think I’d be a good fit due to my aversion to PvE.

If they ever need a battleground Representative though, I honestly believe I have played more BG matches than anyone on PC NA, and I have a pretty good understanding of the various modes... I’ve done all types of queues (group and solo) and have networked with most of the premade regulars and I have a strong understanding of the pain points the players have.

Will this result in a melding of all classes? Sounds like it.. Everyone wanting the best features for each class etc.

Is there any will amongst the ZOS leadership to stop this game becoming a bland time waster? Or virtual shopping experience?

I'd also love to see more attention paid to vet group finder statistics too. This should provide a good indication of which classes are more preferred in each role, and the 'why?' of the less preferred classes getting targetted, especially in DLC content. There are some areas (like DK, sorc & NB Healer, NB tank etc) where the classes never seem to pop up. Are they too difficult, not fun or just plain awful in those roles?

Unfortunately roles are very blurry in normal finder, with a lot of fakes roles being taken just to complete a pledge quickly.

It is pretty obvious from the earlier comments and the amount of responses that the community is really on board with this initiative. Thank you to whomever decided to attempt this. I'm really curious about what the representatives are signing up for; what is the expected time commitment, meetings & frequency, methods of communication, overall duration of project. How about anonymity? We see a lot of names being tossed around (Joy for example, yay!) but what if Joy didn't want anyone to know he was a class representative? Can he still participate?

Ultimately I believe gathering end-user feedback is essential to continual growth of any product. Voice of the Customer is your single greatest asset in a mature product line. Please give us a little more detail regarding how the program will be organized and I think you'll see some people who are definitely knowledgeable step up and volunteer.

I appreciate the vote of confidence but I wouldnt consider myself an expert on the nightblade or any other class. I'm almost exclusively a PvE player, and to be a true master of a class I think you should know it inside and out in all aspects of the game - not sure I really qualify.

lol somebody linked me this thread this morning and asked, if he should send a mail with my name for magplars...
i immediately said no, since there are better suited players than me like @Cinbri and @Joy_Division.
anyway 10 players seem to be not enough as a council, since everyone should know everything about one spec, which includes every aspect of pvp this spec can do, if and how well this class performs as tank, healer and dd for pve. so i think at least 20 representatives should be included in that program.
but i appreciate the idea, thx for this opportunity ZOS and thx for the huge work those representatives will do.

I think when you start talking much more than 10 players; you start losing the point of having a smaller more intimate discussion.

I think it’s going to be important that whoever willingly takes this unpaid responsibility realizes they represent all players and not just their particular interest and really open up discussions with other players here on the forums to get a feel for many perspectives. Would probably be a good idea to have class subforums to do so.

In other words; its similar to a republic. We don't make sure we have someone of every profession to go to our central government. We expect them to represent all of their constituency not just lawyers that most in the states are. Bonus here is (hopefully) no one is paying for anyone's campaign to want kickbacks.

I honestly can't see this working out at all.

As people have said, there are many elements that come into play for every class. PVE or PVP, and then DD/tank/healer. Having one or two people per class isn't going to cut it.

I'm also seeing a lot of people probably suggesting their buddies, people I've never even heard of or seen before, or of which I know are more casual oriented and are probably going to end up making things worse.

To me this sounds like a system put into place to make us feel as if we're being heard. If they're actively going to act upon issues and suggestions though, different point entirely.

But I'll hold my breath. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

This is awesome. I really hope that we get some amazing Ideas and Changes. Im more and more exited about the Road ahead. Im still learning, only 13 months in ESO and beeing my very first MMO, im getting there and i love the way ESO is going

Seems like a road to homogenization, but it's an interesting idea. Wanting classes on equal footing in all areas is creating the balance swings we have currently and a lot of the ideas/complaints I've seen about class balance are players wanting their preferred class to also have some perceived advantage that another class has. Personally, I would hope that these advocates first focus on class skills that have nothing to offer any player, PvP or PvE, and make suggestions to replace those skills with something new that is still in keeping with the class. Despite the fantasy that all things are possible with any class, each class is distinct and has a predisposition that I wouldn't want to see watered down.
