It’s exactly what you first thought. This is a trial run, at minimum it’s a PR stunt. That’s why the process is not completely fleshed out, and why the collected data is limited to ‘pain points’. Something that can be easily tested against their own data collection and experience. If this test yields good results, they’ll integrate and expand upon it, similarly to Combat Update. If it doesn’t work out, they may keep it for PR purposes, they may not.

Oh and obviously about half the names listed already I'm pretty sure have been banned at some point.

Quite honestly not keen about this community representation being in the hands of a bunch of 19 year olds.

Lord of the Flies online IMO.

#SorcLivesMatter is exactly the kind of thing I'd expect from a 19 year old's signature

Not really. I've got at least 17 years on that assumption. That is an old Sig from the dark brotherhood era when sorc was arguably at it's lowest point. Not at all indicative of maturity or age...don't be bitter. Millennials are well known for their "what are you going to do for me" attitude and the kids in this game have as much integrity as a Ford. No thank you,

From a MagSorc perspective I'd recommend @Derra, @ToRelax and @MalcolM24 from the EU side. Not only good and knowledgeable players, but also seem to maintain balanced views when it's comes to the class. They also have a presence in the forums.

attacking a playerbase for their assumed age is pretty indicative of maturity. literally zero reason to insert your anti-millenial agenda in here when it has nothing to do with the topic at hand?

Will we have a representative for us tanks and healers? Don't want to see them left on the side lines receiving changes that may only be beneficial to dps oriented characters.

There haven't been many nominations for mag warden so far, so I'm going to go ahead and throw my name in the hat.

I have extensive knowledge concerning the intricacies of the warden skill lines and passives and how non-class related factors, such as sets, synergize with the class, specifically in PvP. I'm diligently working towards mastering the mag warden in PvE.

I also have a very good understanding of pvp build mechanics and a complete understanding of the templar class.

I'd be very willing to become the stamina templar class representative. I have 2500 hours on the class, primarily as a solo/small scale pvp player. I have an in depth understanding of every aspect of the class, from damage scaling to strengths and weaknesses, counters, synergies, etc. In terms of pve, I'm consistently over 35k dps solo buffed, have cleared all vet dungeons (hard modes and speed runs in the majority), have a high dsa score (42k), and have completed all normal trials and all vet craglorn trials.

In addition to this, I have significant pvp/pve experience on stamina warden (250 hours), stamina nightblade (500 hours), stamina sorcerer (<100 hours), and stam dk (<100 hours). I can draw on my knowledge and experience with these other classes in order to make comparisons and form reasonable feedback.

Great to see an effort to reach dedicated players by ZoS! It is important that feedback is considered from the proper channels.

I would be really careful with people suggesting @Quantum_V since he has been asking for guild leaders to ask their members to suggest him on email as Magicka DK representant. I've seen an announcement in two discords for people to vote for him. I don't think it's healthy for our community people being nominated like this. As far as I know @Quantum_V is almost exclusive PvP, so take votes with a pinch of salt.

    Edit: Sent proof on email.

Well it does. Don't miss the carpet next time. Quite clearly stated we don't want a bunch of 19 yr old representatives. It's also quite clear you don't PvP because there's an age group that brings toxicity to a new level...and I'll give you a guess at that age group.

    @Malamar1229

Age is irrelevant. A person can mature faster or slower based on their experiences.

This isn’t a contract or an actual job, so if a person is not a fit, they can be removed and their position opened with very little reason.

My advice, don't take streamers. Take some veteran players that only play the class they are going to represent. Streamers usually play multiple classes, leading to the fact that they aren't really proficient with any of them. I'd prefer people as representatives who play the actual game rather than spending that time to create entertaining content.

Yes those people who spend weeks theory crafting, testing, and presenting builds usually do not have a clue what they are doing. :#:#

"I'd like to suggest some quite high-tier players that I feel were passed over so far:

Stam / Magicka DK : Big Boss The Dark Phoenix (@BLACKBIRDBIGBOSS) - the AD de facto leader in Cyrodiil, and Deadlands Adept at his lost hours. What he lacks in gameplay and "skill" as some elitists would disdainfully say, he compensates with sheer tenacity and willpower.

Piticu - @capusan.radu88 would also be a decent pic. His hybrid dual wield - restoration staff DK build with mutagen and steel tornado for max AP gains is exactly the out-of-the-box critical thinking that a true community rep needs.

Magicka Templar: @Prootch, a one of a kind holy warrior with a truly unique approach to the class. His focus on mobility and stealth over pure tanking has been noted over the years in Cyrodiil, making him a household name when it comes to fast-paced gameplay, large scale pvp, and strategic invis potion use.

Magicka NB: @Indigitally - creator of unique hybrid builds and great addition to the ESO Youtube community focusing on showcasing his enemies' mistakes and failures to hopefully help them improve.

Magicka Sorc: @Synndrel - Wife of another truly laudable magicka sorc (Legendary Mage), it seems that greatness runs in the family. Her shock staves builds, amazing gameplay, and motivational speeches in /zone show all the qualities that a community representative would need.

Stamina Nightblade: Vox-Ir ( @Voxicity ) - An adept of large scale PVP and seemingly unfair fights, this nightblade's skill is only surpassed by his forum presence. He has a lot of wisdom to offer, and it's high time we listened.

Magicka / Stamina NB: Blobs ( @Blobsky ) - Greatest EU streamer, with helpful guides, absolutely savage builds, and an all around great performance in both PVE and PVP. Virtually unchallenged at the top, he is a very respectful (https://clips.twitch.tv/SteamyAbstruseTortoiseDogFace) and friendly player that would make a great community representative. He's got my vote, that's for sure!

It seems to me that all the aforementioned players have similar skill levels, background, and impact on the community. While not universally liked, I believe that they have a place in our community as well as in our hearts, and I would love to see their efforts rewarded!

You forgot @Tehonyx for magicka templar.
And @visionality for magicka sorcerer. He has a unique approach to the class, relying on mist forms rather than shields. Never seen anything quite like it before.

I can see the logic behind this, but it needs to be done right. Engagement is brilliant when it works.

The dialog between the rep and ZOS needs to be fully visible. As Lexxy has said.

There needs to be some mechanism for peoples views to be collated also rather than one persons view shaping a whole class.

I concur with points above too about it not being streamers as there's a potential conflict of interest there. I think some suggestions here are good pointing to the data guys or those with wider perspective.
