Yeah it's night unplayable for any faction due to zergs at different times, but during prime time the last couple weekends I've found it rather fun.

I only main AD, so I'm not privy to the conversations in either zone or privately, but I'd love to catch a glimpse of Betsy's conversations on both EP and DC, as she hopped back and forth attacking AD.

And although I found it peculiar that 2 DC and EP Shor guilds logged into Sotha at exactly the same time and pushed down simultaneously, eventually meeting at Roe and dethroning (which SURELY included no wheeling and dealing)...

I rather enjoyed the final battle at Roe, holding off EP and DC as long as AD did. I'm sure the O tick for the DC zerg was amazingly large. And props to the small groups of EP that rushed in; that was some balsy play.

The o tick at Roe was 22k.

It took a ton of zone chat spam to stop DC pugs from attacking the 6-7 EP, but that had less to do with any agreement and more to do with:

    l3yE7SG.png

There was really no room for messing with EP without losing like half the map, it took every basically every group pushing AD to even get that dethrone at Roe to happen.

The fight at Roe was only 2 bars AD against 1 bar each EP & DC. It was 3-1 at around 9cst. No idea where/when this came from.

But, that aside, it was an epic fight, with no AD groups in comms, or even well-organized.

Right but the pop cap is still a range; AD was flickering between 3 and 2 bars all night indicative of how high into 2bars they were.

Collectively AD almost certainly outnumber DC+EP, which is why it took the group effort it did to actually push into Roe.

Prime Time Saturday night. You log on to find AD have Emp and are pop locked again. Do you:

    a) Take the fight to AD, so that your faction and the other faction force AD to fight on two fronts, allowing all three factions to get some decent fights.

    or

    b) Do you sacrifice the 2 Emp keeps, 3 Tri-Keeps, and 2 scrolls you currently hold, in order for you and pretty much the whole of your faction to spend the evening gate camping the Non-AD faction, making it pretty much impossible for anyone to get decent fights.

Apparently if you are EP, you pick option b)...

Interesting, a few hours before your experience EP were pushing Roe for a de-emp only for DC to push EPs tri keeps. Maybe, your screen shot is simply a case of some vengeance being served coldly.

Well if that's the case; golly, you sure showed DC!

EP gave up every piece of territory to get vengeance on players who had no doubt logged off long before this went down (and will must likely never know that it happened). Great move there. :p

Well that was only 20 to 16 EP that did that and held it. As we/EP were about to D EMP AD, a 2 bar DC pushed EP into their TRI keeps. And cut ep reinforcments from getting to ROE. So yes. I logged on my DC toon to tell them to stop and was griefed about it. So I told DC My raid was going to push them to their gates, and I did not care if we lost all our stuff doing it. So 20 to 16 of us pushed 2 bar DC to their gate. I kept my word. If we get pushed by DC again (when A D has emp, and winning the campaign) with only one Emp keep left, I will do it again. I promise you.

Do what again? Lose every scroll? Whine in DC zone chat?

Besides, of the two, the zone chat trolling was more disruptive by far than the Warden siege. Which itself was a minor annoyance compared to the pop-locked AD that was plowing through the map.

Why would you attack EP , well pvdoor ep, when there is a locked AD zerg who gate camps both factions during the day. Why would you not push AD. Wait I know because its easier to pvdoor/fight a few pugs who are not geared for pvp... because you so called elitest dont care about that... you just want to run small mans and cry when more than 5 people fight your small mans.. thats right. I remeber now. You arent good at bg's.. so you pride yourself at killing pve rs in cyro. ... you guys remind me of those ad sh...trs you get upset and act just like them..

Its more of a challenge to run run full pvp raids with people who are new and dont have pvp gear or the right morphs . Or health pools who with one VD will kill an entire raid than to run an elite small man and kill pve rs... who are trying to solo. Why dont you run pug groups and teach new pvp players how to pvp and play the map instead of crying about getting killed by an organized group, with more than 3 /4 of that group being what I described above.... way more of a challenge.

Who exactly do you think your group was steam rolling last night? It isn't the 'elite' small man groups you're complaining about who are affected by gate camping or who have to deal with getting the tri-keeps back. They dont give a damn. It's not the players who pushed your keeps that were affected by it as they were most likely long gone. It's the new players and pugs you talk about that are affected by it the most and players who weren't even on when the 'crime' you are so agrieved by happened.

So your notion of retaliation/vengeance is not only misguided but gives you zero moral high ground to stand on. Guess what happens next? Those same people you have a problem with will get the DC newbies and pugs rilled up with tales of 'remember what EP did to you' and use that righteous outrage to no doubt try to do similar back to you, all in the name of 'dishing out punishmen to EP'. And they will feel just as justified and morraly 'right' in their actions as you did. And so it goes on, until another campaign dies.

I think egos are getting inflated here, Warden was Red for what... an hour?

Which was a neat fight because Warden almost never gets fought over, but it didn't seem like much of a revenge tour. I honestly thought it was just EP avoiding the AD zerg up until random EPs started trolling in DC zone.

Hell, it must have been a really delayed revenge for Roe, because EP had been fighting over BRK/Sej for hours prior to that. I even saw DL at BRK and they were running around there for quite a while, so it's anybodies guess when the perceived slight actually occurred.

The Small mans.... were the ones who keep trolling my self and my guild every night, esp when they log on to thier EP toons. Wasnt talking about every one.

Two bar DC and not one group pushed AD at the time we were trying to D Emp. So yes most of the DC were pushing EP at that time.

If the above is mentioned or said, I would expect you or any one else to add on to it. Explain why we did it. Also Let them know that doing such will get them gate camped AGAIN for HOURS by EP. Like I said that was 16 to 20 of us.

For what it's worth, before DL took Warden, I was in your territory soloing resources for EP with a similar reason. I was fighting at Roe when we should have been able to de-emp a pop-locked AD and stared at the map in disbelief as DC pushed deep into EP territory.

I entertained the idea that there must be a deal between players on AD and DC to keep AD emp. Obviously, that would be more organized than is possible. More likely, DC players just didn't understand the implications of cutting EP off. They should have been cutting AD off from Roe and then preparing to back-cap after EP took...

Still, it enraged me enough that I just started taking DC resources and then logged off. That kind of horrendous play is making me move to Shor.

It was really silly of EP to do this... basically destroyed the campaign for the night.

Revenge? Hmmm... perhaps a little forward thinking would be appropriate next time.

AD is what makes this campaign not fun... faction stacking everything... DC and EP need to work together and not against each other when this happens.

I'm new to the campaign, but as an AD player, I agree! It's most fun in PVP when there's a healthy population of each faction, at least for me, because it means lots of opportunities to switch from fighting to defending and back again. Last night was great fun at BRK...sure, we got our asses handed to us in the end, but the fight was awesome! :D
