Ok, I have absolutely forgot about the HUGE pain point: not being able to rearrange the guild order.

    1. Skills not firing. Usually observed during events or primetime sessions in crowded and quieter areas.
    2. Gift from a Suitor. Quest is bugged. I cannot complete the ‘warn the Countess’ objective as she cannot be interacted with, preferring to cower behind a gravestone. I’m not that ugly…
    3. Daggerfall banker. Occasionally invisible and so can’t interact with her.

    Top Pain Points
    1. Overland difficulty. I really enjoy questing as I can listen to all the NPCs and hear their stories, but I find no threat from the encounters along the way. The ease at which I can defeat enemies can sour my experience.
    2. Housing sizes. Those of us preferring smaller abodes seem to have been forgotten in favour of vast residences.
    3. Treasure maps. Like them very much, like trying to locate them, would like them even more if they were stackable.
Thanks for doing this. Love spending my time in ESO, and looking forward to what you folks have in store for us this year.

    bugs:

    - Crashes and freezes on XBox: While I had - at max - one crash a month in the past, the number is now at at least five per week. Do something.

    pain points:

    - free player to player economy from the clutches of the guilds

    - introduce an "auto decline guild invite" option in the settings like auto decline duels or ToT invitations - I don't want to be in five guilds just to be free of that invitation spam.

    - Since I hope that the higher overland difficulty experiment will fail, my biggest pain point would be, that the experimental vet zone could be in the Skyrim region. Falkreath Hold is wasted already. Don't want to loose another Skyrim region to something what will be in a few years a crippled Craglorn like wasteland.

    - I would like to be able to reject or disable the Golden Pursuits. Or at least being able to reject individual 'rewards' would help having less clutter, that can't be destroyed/removed.

Bug 1 Stuck in combat in Cyrodiil. If you had to pick just one single bug to fix in the whole game, make it this one: it's infuriating. Ideally just get rid of "in combat" as a prevention from doing anything and replace it with a "x seconds since last took damage".
Bug 2 Getting kicked for excessive messaging. I know it's to protect the server from tidal waves of messages from laggy clients and isn't technically a bug, but it feels like a bug in the sense that the client/server connection can't handle this in a better way.
Bug 3 Not a technical bug but an immersivity issue: bits of the game that feel like you should be able to access them but you can't. The town in SE Cyrodiil at the bottom of the hill outside the Gate of Mnem, for example, and the historic temple complex just outside the Hall of the Lunar Champion in Rimmen. Hopefully now you're going back adding new content to old zones you'll do something with them.
Bug 4 Areas where you can get stuck in the scenery and have to use the help option to teleport to the nearest wayshrine. It's getting better but there are still too many of these.
Bug 5 Skills not firing reliably. In a small house, empty except for a target dummy, precursor and aetherial well, skills always fire every time. In content, quite often they don't, even when the GCD is well and truly expired. Also, AOE skills that can be placed and have the "auto target" option don't work in conjunction with heavy attacks. You should be able to hit a skill during a heavy attack and have it fire automatically at the end of the HA. This works with single target skills, AOEs like wall of elements etc. but if you try it with something like Shadow Silk that needs placing, it won't work unless you wait until the end of the HA, release R2, hit the skill (and wait a significant fraction of a second for the auto-targeting to do its thing) and then you can HA again.

    Top Pain Points
Pain Point 1 Housing: Lack of housing "outfit slots": I'd like to be able to decorate the same house in different ways using an outfit slot system. Given you sell outfit slots for crowns this should be a no-brainer to do. Also, limitations on number of items in houses. The size of recent houses is such that it's not possible to decorate them thoroughly even with the expanded ESO+ furnishing limits.
Pain Point 2 Losing vitality when a player disconnects. Not everyone has perfect internet connections and this makes no-death and trifecta achievements beyond frustrating. I get that there was an issue that needed to be addressed but the chosen "fix" is awful.
Pain Point 3 Catching bugs by accident when trying to jump while mounted. For the love of god! Please make insects non-interactable when mounted, or at least only interactable when the mount is stationary.
Pain Point 4 Lag. In Cyrodiil in particular but really throughout the game, especially on legacy consoles. A year or so back I swapped out my PS4 hard drive for a SSD and all the issues with slow loading NPCs and PC outfits went away, but they have come back with a vengeance even with the SSD. Perhaps a "low graphics" mode or something is required if the legacy consoles can't perform as required - but then the game engine is fundamentally over a decade old so the client hardware ought to be able to cope better than it does.
Pain Point 5 Useless armour sets. There are vast numbers of sets in the game now but only a tiny fraction are useful for anything. The same sets are basically meta for all DD classes in PVE, there is a limited amount of combinations of support sets that make any difference; even in PVP where there was traditionally more scope for creating innovative builds we've reached a point where build diversity has shrunk massively. Different combinations should be meta for different class / weapon choice combinations but overall there shouldn't be a clear winner, and every set in the game should be genuinely useful for something. One set that would help is a monster set where the 1-piece bonus is Minor Slayer: that's pretty much essential for hard PVE content, and it restricts set choices to including a trial set. If the set were available as the bonus from 1 monster set item it would open up a huge range of options of 2 overland / craftable / dungeon sets plus minor slayer plus a mythic. Perhaps overall though, we have enough sets in the game? You're taking a break from adding new zones for a bit, which probably helps, but perhaps when you do go back to that and for future dungeons, having different collectibles instead of sets might be a good idea.

    And a bonus one...

Finedrin the wood elf He's clearly an incorrigible repeat offender so rather than putting him in the stocks over and over again, please could the khajiit magistrate in Rawl'kha send him to prison? The repeating event and dialogue is even more annoying than Stuga and the bystanders massively get in the way...

Bug 1: Skills not firing. I especially notice this in vSS, and especially as I progress further into the trial, and especially for my ultimate. (Just happen to be progging vSS at the moment.) And also in Cyrodiil.

Bug 2: Load screens randomly popping up in Cyrodiil.

Bug 3: Inconsistent quest advancement when grouped. I honestly am not sure if this is a bug or a pain point, but I feel like there is some initial code somewhere that impacts all quests made off of a certain model where the quest doesn't advance when another person in the group does the action... and it is incredibly annoying. I'm sure that's not how it actually works , but I just don't understand why, for many quests, if someone else picks up the item or does the thing you get credit, but then sometimes you do not. It causes things to get out sync and lots of swearing. One recent example was the scribing quests where if you were trying to go through with another person, it does not count for you if they activate the rune on the wall (or whatever it is called); you have to do it too. There just seems to be zero logic as to why some things work and some don't which is why it seems like it would be a bug somewhere. Why would it be a specific design choice to sometimes, randomly make it so you can't advance the quest in a group if you do the action?!? This should work consistently for ALL quests.

Bug 4: Group Queues Honestly, I don't pay attention enough to know all of the details, but I know that Dungeon Finder and BG Queues have issues. I can be queued in DF queue for 20 min, and we'll be like "jeez it is taking forever," and then drop and regroup and re-queue and it pops immediately. And as discussed in other threads, queuing as a duo in BG's takes f.o.r.e.v.e.r. I'm assuming none of these quirks are working as designed/planned and, thus, are bugs.

    Top Pain Points

Pain Point 1: Character Tracking . Since AwA (U33), character tracking has been a hot mess and gets worse every time achievements are added for things that could have been done retroactively. Since ZOS has now officially endorsed the alt-lifestyle, it would be really awesome if they would take the time to properly decouple achievements and character tracking. Fix map progress so alts don't have to avoid running past certain items as the only way to track whether they have done something is on the map, and if you get to close, it sees the global achievement and marks it complete on the map. Introduce a character log so we can track when each character completes speed mode, hard mode, etc. in dungeons and trials. Don't put any rewards or fanfare into the tracking and don't track frivolous items like "kill 100 dreugh" such that you'd be essentially rebuilding achievements in the log. And last, but not least, please don't make any more achievements that clearly could be done historically, like the "level this class" achievements. It's just making everything worse for those of us who have been around for a long time, because the date of achievement is wrong.

Pain Point 2: Inventory If one fully takes advantage of all the features in the game, inventory management is still tough, despite the wonderful advancements like stickerbook. If I use the armory and have a PvP build, a tank build, a DPS build, and a healing build, that's a ton of inventory space taken up by needing the different armor, pots, food, etc. If I use companions and have multiple builds on those, that's even more armor to carry around. While many nice upgrades have been made regarding inventory, we continue to get more types of items competing for space in our inventory. The most recent example is scripts for scribing.

Please consider highly prioritizing any and all improvements to inventory management, be it more character and shared bank space, more specialty bags like the craft bags, more ways to stack items, or additional inventory management features like having armor kits or adding inventory to armory builds. By the way, while the housing storage is nice, it is not very useful to solve problems like lack of space due to using the Armory. This really needs to be addressed at the character level or at least in the shared bank space level, so travel is not required to quickly grab armor sets. I suppose another idea would be to allow housing storage to be accessed by the assistant and at the central bank. :)

Pain Point 3: Scribing and Armory Different scripts on an ability are very similar in functionality to morphs, and it would be nice if you could have different ones in armory builds. Was disappointed to find out that right now you cannot.

Pain Point 4: Hair Color Please please please allow dyeing of hair in the outfit station! It makes no sense that I can change my skin and eyes to go with my outfit but my hair must stay the same color, when from a realism perspective it is sure easier to change my hair color than my skin color. :D

Pain Point 5: Save Option for IA While I know it's part of the "fun," those of us with limited time never get to challenge ourselves to go further. I swear, it is ALWAYS the case that whenever I do well and keep my lives, I have a hard stop and have to go somewhere and abandon the run. Also, please be sure you include duos in this feature when you roll it out. :)

Thanks for asking! I may add more to this post, but wanted to get my main thoughts out there as I wasn't sure what the deadline was for this.
My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.

    1. Quick cast target ground AoEs sometimes fails to complete when performing other actions. So a weird thing happens where the target ground AoE ability will cast, but then it will show it's AoE highlight again as if I'm preparing to cast it as if quick cast is turned off, and this causes the AoE ability cast again no matter which ability I try to cast from the bar. This makes light attack weaving/dps worse, and it causes me to waste resources double casting the same ability. Please PLEASE fix this.
    2. Necromancer Empowering Grasp ability only applies to one summoned pet, instead of both the Mage and the Mender.
    3. Necromancer Skeletal Arcanist ability buff timer sometimes disappears early despite the summon being alive for several more seconds, making it confusing to know when it needs recast.
    4. When blastbones from either ability or ultimate deal enough damage to a delve boss, it seems to treat it like someone else did 99% of the damage to the boss and you just happened to hit it. So you get only gold as loot, instead of the normal item drops from killing the boss.

    Top Pain Points
    1. Necromancer Animate Blastbones ultimate is too difficult to use and costs too much ultimate: Please remove the revive mechanic to this morph, and instead reduce the ultimate cost. Also make these Blastbones summons have longer duration, so you can summon them outside of combat and run into a fight.
    2. Necromancer corpses disappear too soon, maybe increase their duration by a few seconds, like 3-5 seconds.
    3. Overland combat mechanics don't matter, you can just stand in the red circles and take minor damage.
    4. All traps in the game are disappointing, make people have to actually use their brain to solve puzzles, not just walk through spike traps, gas chamber, lava, etc.
    5. Fishing should have more rewards, not just during events, and a more fun fishing mini-game would be nice.

new bug i just noticed now that i lost plus. my bank is too full of course but there are partial stacks in it and i can still add to most of them. but ive been collecting the max lvl provisioning writ recipes like Hearty Garlic Corn Chowder and when i tried to put some more in they wouldn't go. empty soul gems and potions go in but not recipes.

new pain point with the new golden pursuits. i REFUSE to claim anything with a false god name and the interface just wont go away. i have to play with it there. i cant interact with player anymore and sometimes can't change skills on my bar.

Long-time Bug: AOE ground effects from enemies persist long after the enemy is dead instead of ending when the enemy dies. One example is the circle of wind that represents a slow. I often see this thing persist in Fungal Grotto and other places. A second example is that large red and black circle (you see it in delves like Vault of Haman Forgefire in Coldharbour, among other places).

Bug: Companions sometimes aggro enemies you are not near. Mirri and Bastian have this problem a lot. Other times the companion just stands there not bothering to fight, like Azander just did.

    1. Inventory, on my main I have 3 dps builds, healer, 2 tank builds and 2 pvp builds. I either have to go to bank to get gear or just have no inventory space. I think when you buy armory slots you should get extra inventory space to utilize the armory.
    2. Hybridization - Went to far to me, now your not a mag/stam most of the time. Now you can moderate both and have 39K health in pvp and still kill each other. I remember the days when i got called being to tanky because I had 24K health.
    3. Make some zones harder, how do you call something a boss and I can solo it with ease. i understand keeping some zones for beginners but dang, bring back the old craglorn, beginners can get good or find a group to help/carry them.
    4. PVP - Not sure what the future holds but, dont destroy the fact that most stay with this game cause the diversity of builds/skills/gear.
    5. Walking across Cyrodiil when I spent $40 on a mount and cant use it being stuck in combat.

I know I hit my five bug limit, but doing the thievery/lockpicking pursuits have made this one big and obnoxious to me.

Bug 6: NPCs who have not detected you (or can not detect you due to cloak) will still turn to face you and say their angry voice lines as if they have detected you. It's annoying in base game zones where "Trespassing" doesn't exist, but it's outright unbearable in Trespassing areas.

They'll break their normal pathing to turn around and say something like "Leave or I'll call the guard!" when I'm fully hidden, and sometimes that change of position makes them actually see you and you get a bounty. Or it changes their route/timing just enough that you can't get through the area without someone else seeing you.

Dusting off my forum account once again... because this is a great thread idea

    Top Bugs/Issues

    Bug 1:
Mainly the tab target system being buggy. I like being able to highlight a specifc target, however the game sometimes refuses to change targets even when I'm clearly aiming at the untargetted enemy, especially when the target in tab is still visible. I need to stand with my back facing the enemy for the tab to finally switch over, which is sometimes impossible if the enemy I want to target is somewhere "inside" the main target's hitbox.
Content where I can recall this happening from the top of my head:
Asylum Sanctorium with Main Boss and Spheres
Cloudrest with Main Boss and Minis
Infinite Archive Bosses and the Scamp

    Top Pain Points

    Pain Point 1:
Screenshot mode please! One thing I love is sharing screenshots with friends, either my characters outfits or just how insanely pretty the game is, but the lack of proper screenshot/posing tools in this game makes it hard to get creative with screenshots. Something like being able to unlock camera from your character would be a great start already, so I don't have to mess with my camera settings all the time, which are also already very limiting. Another idea would be looping and freezing emotes and memorables, anything where getting the "right" frame is a pain if you always have to go through the animation manually. For people who enjoy roleplaying through taking and sharing screenshots, I'm sure this would immensely improve engagement.

    Pain Point 2:
Replayability of (Main) Quests aka New Game+! ESO's story is a major selling point of the game and I'd love to be able to re-experience parts of it without having to make a new character (not only would that limit myself to alt characters, but I specifically want to play the story with *that one* character again). I don't even need exp or gold again, the story itself would be reward enough! This might also be nice for people wanting to visit certain quest-only zones again, or playing together with a friend. As someone unfortunate enough to have some of their favorite characters die or go missing in the story (;-;) I'd love to be able to revisit them with my characters to whom they were important.
Quests I would also include are dungeon story quests, because due to the habit of speedrunning them for the skill point, I have done many dungeons without fully experiencing the story in them and I would have to create (and level!) a whole new character to be able to experience them in full nowadays. Another solution would be a story mode I guess, but I'm fine with stuff being solo/duo-able multiplayer, too, so I included this under the option of New Game+.

    Pain Point 3:
Search and Favorite Function for Furniture Crafting and Outfit Station! The lack of a search function (without addons) in the crafting menu is kinda wild given how many furnishing plans exist in this game and being able to favorite often used items would save time, too. While the outfit station has a search function, a "Favorite" option would also help quickly saving certain styles while you're trying on outfits. This would be very helpful to compare different styles without having to scroll back and forth, up and down, just to find your chosen styles. Given how large the icons for the style motifs are, if you get to a certain point, your style list will just scroll on endlessly.

    Pain Point 4:
Story writing! May sound harsh, but I (and a fellow Elder Scrolls friend of mine) noticed recent chapters have felt very repetitive and predictable and generally below earlier stories' quality of enjoyment (basegame and early chapters/dlcs, like Summerset, CWC or Murkmire for example), in general story pacing, the way certain characters have been written and lore has been handled. I/we really love the Elder Scrolls universe and its stories and lore, but that includes the tone of how these stories are created and told.
Some stories try to rely too much on needing to put some sort of plot twist in them, to the point of where it's ridiculously easy to predict it from far away, or will repeat the same twist and pacing as in the previous chapter/dlc.
Some feel like the writer tried to put all of their favorite fanfiction tropes into the story and wrote the story companion with an extreme case of main character syndrome, instead of telling a compelling story and lore-friendly worldbuilding, which feels very bizarre to experience in a franchise usually so praised for its storywriting and setting.
One recent character and story we both agree on to be excellently written is Zerith.
Something we also miss are more quest/dialogue choices that influence the story further down the line, and stuff that puts the RP in the RPG.

1 - One of the things that often makes me want to walk away from the game is not being able to go through a door, get on a mount, or use a wayshrine when "in combat". This is especially irritating when the "in combat" is something you ran past half an hour ago, so you wait for it to appear, and when it finally gets to you it runs away again.

2 - ESO needs a central market system where you can put things up for sale and buy them. In the current system I just never bother.

3 - Bags and banks are a pain when certain things don't stack (e.g., treasure maps)

4 - Endeavours and similar should allow the player to have morals. No stealing, no laundering, no poisoning, no becoming a vampire, essentially nothing that Aragorn wouldn't do.

    5 - Mini map.

6 - Event tickets - incredibly irritating that you can only have 12, so you end up buying crap you don't want, and never have enough to buy what you do want if it ever becomes available.

7 - The game is too hard to solo. My wife gave up on ESO because she finds Diablo more empowering. I would love a well-defined path that makes you a real hero. Aragorn and Legolas are not whacking away at trash mobs. One orc requires one blow or one arrow. The narrative is always going on about what an awesome warrior my toon is, but I never feel it.

8 - All the guys are old: I understand why it might become inappropriate to play a child (although it would be fun), I do not understand why I can't recapture my youth and play an 18-year old. Every race model seems to have a hairy chest and the beard shadow of a man of at least 30-40 years of age. Personally, I'm with Tolkien in believing elves should be incapable of body hair.

9 - Clothing: I would like to see more clothing derived from ancient influences. The Dibella set is along those lines, but is regrettable in many other ways. Also, there really needs to be more gear that someone would actually live in and adventure in. People never lived or adventured in full armour, they would get dressed for a battle when it was about to happen.

    Hello ESOFam!

Top 5 pain points for me going into 11 years have got to be:
    • Basegame HM Scroll: For the love of Auri-El, please give us an option to obliterate the blinding light. It's been there for far too long. This is a huge accessibility issue that still exists in the game today and is really annoying, especially with the new HM banners that don't eviscerate your eyes.
    • Pin Achievements/Endeavors: This is just a selfish wish, but I wish I could pin an achievement or endeavor in my journal/UI, similar to the golden pursuits. Then I wouldn't have to keep searching for it in my journal/menu in order to check my progress.
    • Guild Finder: Being able to look up specific guilds would be so helpful! Especially if you are trying to grow your guild through word of mouth.
    • Stackable Treasure Maps: It's time.
    • Armory Build Deletion: It is very easy to accidentally delete/overwrite an armory build. I think it would be great to add a "type CONFIRM" box, similar to every time I want to delete a stack of crown drinks. That way my brain can catch up with my fingers. ;)

    Top bugs/issues:

    - HAs failing to lock on even when staring directly at the target and within melee distance requiring to stop the action to play around with camera and positioning in order to to reacquire [the target].
    - Nodes on surveys failing to be harvested needing to walk away some distance, return to the node and then mash the button. This can and does happen on multiple nodes per survey. To me it happens most often with jewelery/blacksmithing.
    - Stuck in combat, is tedious in PvE and very frustrating in PvP.
    - Umpteen unresolved bugs in dungeons and trials going as far back as Shadows of the Hist that would necessitate their own thread because they are legion. I don't believe a single one exists that is bug free.
    - Cannot place target dummies on anything but the 'native collision' of the house. Ground abilities will 'sink' through the collision of the furnishings all the way to the 'native collision' and players using blink/teleport abilities on the dummy will 'phase' through the furnishing's collision too.

    Top pain points:

    - No dedicated storage for furnishings which cannot be deconstructed either. Please add dedicated infinite storage (well, 4bn limit as the craft bag will be fine too) for them. Doesn't need to be accessible at all times (like the craft bag is), accessible only when in one's 'property' likes the chests would be appropriate.
    - Surveys needs a severe QoL pass to remove a substantial amount of the inconvenience that has piled up on this system over the years.
    - Limit on transmute crystals. It is in essence yet another currency, please remove the limit.
    - Grim focus permaglow. You cannot fathom how frustrating this is for the 'fashion conscious'.
    - Non-stackable (and unique) treasure maps, not-stackable glyphs/consumable master writs. Arbitrary stack sizes (gold crown store food stacks to 200 but gold crafted food only stacks to 100 for instance).

I was going to put 'guild' at the very top of the pain points because we've basically 'gotten by' with addons (which means that if the people who developed such addons 'retire', specially when it comes to the ones used to manage trading guilds, we are stuffed) and still the controls (we can't even reorganise the guild priority on the list or search for specific guilds, that's how 'bare bones' the whole system is) are below 'basic' however the recent survey and 'noise' means (or I want to think it means? I am pretty good at self-delusion) that you are looking into it already.

    1. Ballgroups in Cyro. You really have to do something about it. Create lag, create in-combat bug, spoil the fun since no counter, etc.
    2. Balistas and siege weapons. Please put some lock so that other players cannot use our balistas if we don't want to.
    3. Cyro map balance: EP has Winters and Harluns in their side. AP no outpost in their site, just Vlastarus and Crop is really far away separated by the river. DC has only Carmala close... doesn't seem that fair.
    4. Check the macro players.

Bug 1: Once upon a time I was able to use Wayshrines successfully even while in Combat, as long as I hadn't been hit by the enemy for several seconds. Sometime around when Companions were added, this stopped working. Even when I am not using a Companion I have to wait for the enemy to stop chasing me to use the Wayshrine, which can take a while! I would really like this to be fixed back to how it was so that I can use a Wayshrine if I have not been actively hit by an enemy for 10 seconds or so!

    Top Pain Points
Pain Point 1: I don't like that there are PvE activities in PvP zones. I am still holding out hope that one day we'll get a PvE instance of Cyrodiil and Imperial City that keep the existing quests, skyshards, etc., and also add new quests to advance the storyline of 3-Banners-War etc.! (Not removing the PvP versions, as I see no issue with keeping those as they are so people can still PvP there, since they are accessed in a special way rather than from the regular map.)
Pain Point 2: I would really like to see some updates for the textures/models of older furnishing items, and adding new furniture that people have been asking for like all the little birdhouses that exist in High Isle and the barrels with the mushrooms. I've even found new models with better textures of items that exist as furnishings, like the basket of apples, but these are only being used as static objects in new zones (not even replacing the lower res versions in older zones).
Pain Point 3: I would really like to see more small-to-medium sized player housing. Most of the houses released are ridiculously gigantic, making them too large to furnish satisfactorily and annoying to navigate. There are threads in the Housing forum where people have requested many smaller homes that are existing assets in the game and could be copied and converted.
Pain Point 4: There are many housing systems that have been requested that don't exist yet. Examples are a gardening system, ways to let the houseguests perform emotes/mementos, and a master furnishing station. Housing could really use some focus / big updates to add things that people have been requesting.
    Pain Point 5

I'll update more as I think of things. :)

    1. Hard Mode scrolls: please either remove the flash effect or replace the scrolls with something like the banners we see in later DLC dungeons.
    2. Pinned progress: the ability to pin achievements and endeavors in order to track progress like Golden Pursuit tasks would be super helpful.
    3. Smaller houses: we need more houses that aren't manor-sized, and especially more that are able to purchased with gold. Small and medium are good too!
    4. Lorebooks: it is incredibly frustrating as a collector that I am never able to obtain every lorebook. There are always some that are bugged post-quest, or they get added to the Eidetic Memory but never placed in-game.
    5. Stackable maps: way past time for us to be able to stack treasure maps!

    Top 5 bugs/issues:
    1. Make eidectic memory accout wide and make all books available post quest. Fix all the bugged "books" Tales, of Tribute, I'm looking at you.
    2. More free armoury slots per toon. It's expensive when you are saving multiple builds on multiple toons for multiple things.
    3. Bigger stacks than 200, make them unlimited, so it's just one stack.
    4. Allow transmuting and improving companion gear
    5. Improve targeting please - for bosses and just interactiable stuff in the world.

    Top 5 pain points:
    1. Remove the transmute crystal limit. My storage on many toons is taken up with transmute boxes and why is that? becaise of number 2.
    2. Hybridization - hundreds of sets but most of them not useable and very few sets are used in the game overall. It killed build diversity and viabliity, class differences, and specialization difference. So it is BORING.
    3. Curated style pages and leads - also would be nice if after X number of tries, the drrop becomes easier.
    4. The CP system is completely bonkers. Especially blue and orange. The addon for green makes it palatable. I have about 600 unused cp, if not more, because what is the point of using them? you can't slot the bulk of them. Everyone pretty much slots the same 8 between blue and orange, depending on your role. Zero sense of progression or point to the whole system.
    5. More character slots. If people don't want to use them, that's fine. It gives room for those who want more than 20, regarding performance.

Bug 1: Food buff disappears after dying. It seems to happen with or without FTC, and it is only a visual impact. The buff is still active as I can see it in the character menu, and it will reappear if I reload or I eat something again.

    ---

Pain point 1: Furnishing limits - I think this has been mentioned so many times before, but personally I would love to have more slots to place pets, assistants and houseguests

Pain point 2: No photography mode. Listen, some of my characters have drip, I need to capture that without them occupying just the lower left corner of the screen. A photography mode could work something like this: It captures a frozen state of the game and surroundings, and lets you free float your camera around the scene, where you can take a picture from any angle. Or, it just lets you have a free camera without "fake pausing" the game. If combat is initiated, it resumes to normal immediately.

Pain point 3: Faun polymorph. Please?!

Pain Point 4: Skin dye, what if that awesome skin could also be colored differently? Imagine a jet-black Soul Shriven, with glowing red eyes using the beast personality. So cute! ^_^

Pain Point 5: Not having the Luna Moth pet is painful. :c

Bug 1: Combat pets resetting bosses in dungeons
Bug 2: Zombie groups of one player after leaving the group made by dungeon finder
Bug 3: Necromancer is still a mess to play. Blastbones buddy still gets stuck. Having tether off-gcd was nice
Bug 4: Targeting interactable items/npcs. Ever since the change to how targeting works happened a few years ago I'm having problems picking the exact thing I want to interact with when multiple interactables are situated close to each other. Summon a banker next to a npc and have a nice time trying to start dialog with each of them.
Bug 5: First tick of AOE created by undead enemies (I think it was called Desecrated Ground) snares even when you're not standing in it. And it's not "I was out of that" issue. Sometimes undead die really far from me and I still get snared.

Pain point 1: Teleport via wayshrine doesn't happen if player is in combat. This is broken since release of Greymoor chapter
Pain point 2: There are too many sets in the game and most of them are useless
Pain point 3: Treasure maps should be stackable
Pain point 4: Lack of separation by player skill level in dungeon finder. 5 out of 6 times I get players that are incompetent at their roles. I stopped using dungeon finder altogether because of that.
Pain point 5: Stats like armor, critical chance, penetration displaying their number rather than percent. I remember this being otherwise and think it was more convenient

    Bug 1:
There is a Bug at Taleria HM. Sometimes when she does her Crushing wave she still hit u even when u dogerolled it. You can see the dogeroll animation of your Character but the wave just kills you mid roll, pretty annoying if you try to do the tripple achievement. I have a video of this Bug.
    https://youtu.be/kHd7wtd94Us

    Bug 2:
Might be a UI Addon Bug, but maybe someone experiences the same Bug without UI. Sometimes in Raids my Healtbar ist stuck and i cant heal past a certain amount. Its just a visual Bug, for example, if my healtbar is stuck at 16.9k healt and i get hit for 20k DMG it just goes to 0 HP and i can heal back to 16.9k HP, but it is very scarry in a Raid. You have to log out and back in to fix this bug to get back to yout full amount of HP.
In this Video my health drops after the jump, but my HP is stuck at 16.9k and i cannot be healed over this amount.
    https://youtu.be/vEUi9aClAys

    Bug 3:
In Combat Bug, i guess i dont have to explain this bug. Its realy annoying if u cant use your Mount and its even more annoying if u cant use a door in a Dungeon. A simple timer that stops all combat if u didnt take dmg for 10 Seconds should easily fix this, i dont know how this bug can exist for so long, but i am no programmer.

    Pain Point 1:
Guild Traders. Without Third Party Websites like TTC its almost impossible to find specific items. Good luck trying to buy "Crafting Motif 58: Fang Lair Shoulders" without this website. I guess there are almost 300 Guild Traders, 16 of them have this item. It is very cheap and with this Website it will take me 3 Minutes to buy, but imagine a new player who doesnt know this website trying to buy this thing. He has to check like 20 Guild traders to find it and if he is unlucky he finds the most expesive one and gets ripped of. The system as it is disadvantages new players. They have to pay more than the actual market price of an item and are maybe discouraged to use them at all. Easier access to Itemsets ect. would help to shrink the power gap between new and veteran players. Making it easier to compare the prices of items could boost marked cometition and bring down prices.
Furthermore i dont like the maximum of 30 Items you can sell. Why should i sell an item that is only worth 1k Gold. It use blocks one of my 30 Slots and i have many items that sell for more. Cheap items that are easy to get for veteran players like common recepies get destroyed insted of sold to low level players who could need them.

    Pain Point 2:
Crafting. Have you ever tried crafting without addons? You need Bufffood with max hp, max stamina and stamina recovery 160 CP? Good luck scrolling through 300 recepies to find the one you need. A glyphe for your jewelry to increase Weapon dmg? I hope you are fluent in Dovahzul and remember u need Taderi. Potions with Healt, Magika and Stamina recovery, dont even try, just google it or get an Addon. It is very easy to generate Gold with crafting but without Addons its hard to understand and Master. If you only play the Overland and do Quests you can easily avoid this system, but as soon as you want to try Dungeons and Raids you need these thing. Its pretty overwhelming to learn these things without addons or google. This needs to be simplyfied and a searchbar.

    Pain Point 3:
Inventory. I would not say the Inventory is too smal, rather i think there is too much useless stuff with absolutely no reason to exist. Why are things like "Rubedo Leather Belt of Magicka" even dropping. Who ist using them, what are we supposed to do with those? "Truly Superb Glyph of Magicka" Just why? Should i put this on my Chest piece and use it in my trifecta run? Maybe keep it for new players even tho i think it should be gone all together, just let them drop the materials so they can go directly into the ESO+ crafting bag instead of my already almost full inventory. I dont want to pause after each boss and destroy all the useless stuff. And dont get me started talking about items like "Foul Hide", why cant i just drop the gold instead, why do i have to go to a merchant and sell it. All items that just exist to be sold to a merchant should instead just give you the gold directly, keep the inventory free for important stuff.
Also i would appreciate a Housing Bag for ESO+, but i guess you already know the community realy wants this, or at least some additional Storage Chests for your house.

    Pain Point 4:
Events. The Events feel all the same. Go to Zone X, do the daily Quest you have done like 30 times before, kill the same boss you have killed 30 times before and get generic style Page #154. Nothing innovative, just more of the same. I was realy exited for the 10 year anniversary events. I expected something new, something great. I was especially hyped when i saw the Anniversary Spotlight titled "Dungeon Runners, Rise Up". Dungeon Runner? Thats me! I played ESO for 10 years and i love dungeons, i love them so much i have 100% of the Achievements from the Dungeons. I was hyped, i logged in. What can i do now, 2 free dungeons? Nice, but i already own them. What else, a Costume if u complete the Dungeons, okay, i have already done that. An Arms Pack, if you complete 10 Pledges, already done. So i claimed those 2 things in the Crown store and the Event was done ... this experience broke me. Its like getting invited to the birthdayparty of my friend that i know for 10 years and he only gives me a piece of cake and ignores me for the rest of the day and only talks to his new friends he knows less than a year. (Sry I am a bit dramatic here, but this was the moment for me when the glas shattered and i noticed how bad the Events actually are)
Why cant there be more surprising new things. You have Characters like Uncle Sheogorath who does love crazy things. Why cant he do things like clone all enemys in Fang Lair of something and now you have to fight the same Boss twice at the same time. Or let him go to Deshaan or whatever and let him double or tripple the strengh of these sets for like 2 weeks and let the players have some fun with it in PvE (but turn of Achievements if u use them). Events should feel different than a normal day in Tamriel.

    Pain Point 5:
Leaderboards. The Leaderboard are pretty bad and the Matchmaking is horrible. I enjoy playing Tales of Tributes from time to time. I have more than 800 Ranked games. 650 Ranked games ago i installed a Addon to track my stats and i am at 67% winrate in ranked games. I consider my self i good player. Every Ranking system should notice that i am a good player, my stats clearly show this. Nonetheless i get matched against Noobs every now and then. This should not happen.
On the other hand the Leaderboard itself. Sometimes i win 4 games in a row and gain like 50 points in total in the Rubedite Leaderboard and then lose 1 game and lose 150 Points. Sometimes you play a game and win, but u get 0 Points. This doesnt make any sense. Everyone who played any competitive Game with a Leaderboard knows, if you win more than 50% of your games you should climb the Ladder.
The Problem doesnt only appear in Tales of Tributes. I recently started playing Battlegrounds. The difference between the Teams sometimes is so huge, i recently lost a Deathmatch 500 to 15, my Team got 1 kill. A Player with 200 CP was matched with someone above 3000 CP. I know CP dont work there, but the difference in experience is way to big to match these 2 into the same Battleground. Then there is the Leaderboard for Battlegrounds. I tried to figure it out, but i have absolutely no clue what this Leaderboard is supposed to show. It needs some more stats, like how many games played, how many points average etc. you cant compare anything like this. Same with the Raid Leaderboards. There needs to be stats like time and vitality. The 12 players should not be listed by their name, instead their Guild/Raidgroup name should be displayed (maybe the individual names should be displayed in a dropdown menu). I would like to have the same for Dungeons.
Online Games live for competition but u cant compete against each other if there is no good Leaderboard, if you want to know the records for the content you have to use third party sites. Fix Leaderboard and give us custom Battleground Lobys to create PvP tournaments should help the competition and longevity of Raid, Dungeon and PvP Content a lot.

Thats my Top 5 i guess, but there is more. Like too many useless temset, most style pages look the same, no variation.
Most Houses are to big, or the Housing item slot too low (maybe implement real Guild houses for top 100 guilds with extra space for housing items). Or in generaly way too much thirds party dependence. I dont know if i could play the game without Addons and sites like TTC or ESO-Hub.
Or this Forum. It took me 5 days to create an Account, it felt like you rly try to avoid all feedback.

    BUG
    1. Kicked from Cyrodiil and system will not allow a login until some unknown timer is expired, and then finding you're out so long it makes you requeue, or it won't let you rejoin until the group lead kicks you from group. This is rage-quitting level of annoyance on some days.

    PAIN
    1. Settings, keybinds and companion unlocks are character based, should be account wide.
    2. Inventory management takes too much time - add auto-junk/sell, item classes such as maps, surveys, furnishings that are essentially static is properties should be removed from taking inventory space
    3. No voice integration for groups. Allow group lead to set a Discord channel name and URL that players can see and click on.
    4. Cyrodiil map gates imbalance - take down a gate in western side and DC can still get on top of walls and fire down at AD. Make taking the gate down remove stairs, have it even for each side.
    5. Potions - when I look at a crafted potion I want to see a list of reagents used to make it so that I don't have to keep a separate note file outside the game

I just thought of another one, and I'm not sure if it would be classified as a bug or a pain point. Items deposited into guild banks should stack like they do everywhere else. And you should be able to withdraw partial stacks, similar to how withdrawing from the craft bag works.

Moreover, guilds should be able to set rules and limits on withdrawals for guild members, with some measure of control based on item rarity or maybe classification. For instance, my guild's rule is that you can withdraw 5 items per day, with the exception of green recipes, which are unlimited. However, there is no mechanic in the game to enforce this, so it is an honor system. Sadly, we have had a few instances over the years of dishonorable people withdrawing all of the good items from the bank and disappearing. And other cases of people (perhaps accidentally) removing a full stack and not returning the rest to the bank.

Right now I'm looking and we have 100+ stacked Aurora Firepot Spider parts for the Firepot and Front Legs. We have zero Rear Legs. At some point, someone removed the entire stack (because you have no other choice), and didn't put the rest back. I just noticed this now (which prompted this post), and guild history does not go back far enough to see who took them.

So it would be nice to be able to set a rule that you can only remove x items per day (or x gold items per day, y purple items, z blue items, etc), and when someone does try to remove something, instead of getting the whole stack, they get a box asking how many, defaulting to 1.
