Hi All! In our continued effort towards improving communication and addressing community concerns, we would like to ask for you to share your top five long-standing bugs/issues and top five pain points you would like to see us address, no matter how big or small. We will go through the results, and work towards addressing these two lists. While we may not be able to hit everything, the goal is that this be a living list that helps us prioritize the most important bugs/issues and pain points going forward.

Pain points could be anything that creates friction or takes away from your enjoyment in ESO. Some examples we’ve heard from all of you in the past include not being able to search for a specific guild by name in the guild finder tool, the world map being confusing/overwhelming, or lack of a minimap making it hard to navigate the world.

Also, just to save some time, you do not need to include the stuck-in-combat bug. The dev team is aware and has it on the list already, and it came up many times when we gathered questions for the general PVP Q&A that is coming later in February. (Incidentally, we will have an update on it in that Q&A.)

To help us keep this list as easy to read as possible, please respond in the following format:

Top Bugs/Issues
  1. Bug 1
  2. Bug 2
  3. Bug 3
  4. Bug 4
  5. Bug 5
Top Pain Points
  1. Pain Point 1
  2. Pain Point 2
  3. Pain Point 3
  4. Pain Point 4
  5. Pain Point 5
We also ask that everyone please create only one post and do your best to stick to the prompt. Having conversations in the thread will make it harder for us to review and collate your contributions and could derail from the main prompt. We would like to avoid both scenarios, so sticking to the one post prompt is greatly appreciated. If you’d like to have a discussion about something in this thread, we encourage you to start a new thread and have the conversation there.

If you see a prompt that you agree with, please feel welcome to use the “agree” reaction in the bottom right corner of the post to note your agreement. This will help us when reviewing comments. Please note, we aren’t counting reactions as votes – everyone's top five are valid!

As always, please keep the Community Guidelines in mind as you provide your feedback. Thanks in advance for your feedback and this opportunity to address some of your top bugs/issues and pain points.

1.Grave Lord’s Sacrifice is a mess. It’s not worth using over Blighted Blastbones. Like all wonky Blastbones iterations, it will often bug out and not fire correctly. It was added to reduce complexity, but the current version actually adds complexity to Necromancer rotations.

Furthermore, it’s still labeled Stalking Blastbones. The Sacrificial Bones/Grave Lord’s Sacrifice spell was apparently to be closely watched. However, it has gone unchanged for a year. It sucks to have a magicka morph that is objectively worse in every way to the stamina morph.

    2. Console and PC server segregation. Console gameplay lags behind PC. Since I have zero interest in restarting, even something like a paid service to copy/transfer accounts would be a welcome improvement. Not only could this theoretically be monetized—not ideal, but there’s precedent in other, similar games—but it would also improve the player experience.

    3. Overland difficulty is a problem for me. This is not because it’s too hard; this is because it is too easy in the vast majority of situations. Adding artificial difficulty via, e.g., lots of invulnerability phases has made the “difficult” encounters more tedious than thoughtfully challenging. I’m cautiously optimistic about the mentioned experiments with overland difficulty. However, I would prefer this to be explored in a more meaningful way than some of the more recent encounters we’ve seen.

    4. Light attack weaving, especially for console players, can be difficult on the hands. If it’s unfeasible to allow transfers between servers, then the option to use a keyboard and mouse would be a significant quality of life improvement.

    5. Console environmental sustainability features are nice in theory, but in practice they are very distracting. I appreciate the progressive sentiment—a major plus. However, the various FPS and resolution changes are jarring and unideal. Are there other ways this could be achieved that would affect players less directly? That PC players can disable this is especially disappointing.

Werewolf animations have been broken ever since Infinite Archive hit pts. Whenever you select a verse/vision your character becomes bugged. It happens every single time so it's not hard to replicate. I'd also love to see werewolves given the ability to sneak as we're currently locked out of certain content/quests/dungeons and item sets.

Transformed characters like werewolves, vampire scion, and bone goliath still cannot pick up chaosballs outside of their initial spawn points in battlegrounds.

Grave lord's sacrifice is still labeled as stalking blastbones when you cast it. I'd rather this morph just get reworked again as there are so many things wrong with it. It can also be negated by enemies and players so it just stands there preventing you from getting a buff.

    Bugs

    1) Stuck in Combat
    2) Heavy Attacks not doing anything.
    3) Skills don't always fire off, especially defensive things like break free
    4) Companion Taunt doesn't always work
    5) PlayStation 5 map zoom is broken. You cannot zoom in properly like PlayStation 4.

    Pain Points

    1) You cannot filter for unknown in guild traders
    2) Story Mode Dungeons and updated group dungeon quests so that players can't force someone to miss their skillpoint
    3) Grandmaster Furnishing Station that is a collectible furnishing and all furnishing stations having a search function . There is like a thousand plans or whatever, having to go through each one with poor categorization is a nightmare
    4) Searchable collectibles
    5) Adding the old stealable clothing to the outfit system. We've been waiting years and years for this.
    5) Updates to the companion system including making them move out of AOE damage and romance.

    PAIN POINTS

    1 - HOUSING UI
The alphabetical housing list is too long & even add-ons like ETH too cumbersome for large lists. I'd buy more homes if I didn't constantly spot $50+ houses I forget to use buried between inns & storage.
    1. Sorting by size/quality, or even sub-categorizing, would be great. Prioritize manors (that cost $$) at top to incentivize usage; the free inns at bottom.
    2. Alternatively, sorting by nicknames would allow players to create their own sorting schema. "Storage" houses, "RP houses", "Adventure/Dungeon" projects, etc.

    2 - MOTIF UI
Similarly, the list is TOO large, the icons too small, and no easy way to sort by theme/race/something - nor to favorite go-to items. I'd buy more styles if it wasn't so hard finding the ones I own. I hate realizing "I own X?!", where X was some cool weapon skin just buried under 234634 other staves or daggers.
    • The ability to highlight favorites and/or hide things we hate would make outfitting less grueling - I'd even buy more outfit slots!

    3 - GUILD TABARDS
Would love to rep a guild without wearing a silly, low-rez tabard. We can already do it with costumes, but not outfits. No one wants to spend 120-400K in an ultra-rare chestpiece for a guild uniform just to hide it with a plastic looking tabard.

    4 - COSMETICS
I can't justify buying cool tattoos and ink, when most armor covers it all. Fatemirror Evening Wear was the first dress to let ladies flaunt the center/back tattoos. Similarly, vampirism for some reason hides most ink. And while on it, does everything need hip-armor? So many cool pieces have unnecessary metal flaps (we need more without - or at least use books, scrolls, tools, vials, etc instead).

    TLDR:
A couple UI tweaks would make housing & fashion more accessible (and encourage some of us to return to spending as heavily as we crave).

Alight, alright, I guess I should be serious.

    Bugs:
    1. Phantom groups. This is a bug associated with the use of the Dungeon Finder, and it results in some characters sometimes being put into a previous Dungeon Finder zombie group (in the process of doing so, this may also remove them from an existing group that they're in). They'll be in this zombie group as a single player, and it will prevent them from inviting or accepting invites. The way to fix this (temporarily) is to relog or rezone, though it can happen again. The only way it fixes long-term is when there is server maintenance that wipes away these zombie groups that were evidently not properly cleaned up when disbanded. Of course, after that character uses Dungeon Finder again, it can happen all over again.
    2. Encounters with multiple bosses resetting when players have transient pets (e.g., NB shade, necro archer, Warden netch, etc.; permanent pets such as sorc Twilights are fine).

    Pain points:
    1. Did I mention stackable treasure maps?
    2. Overtuning of trial HMs, Rockgrove and beyond.
    3. Lead RNG, especially the lack of curation for sources that have multiple leads. People have really liked the double lead drops during this event, but that's just a band-aid for the bigger problem of lead RNG. As an example, I dug up 40x Ancestral Breton motifs and still could not complete the codex:
      Spoiler
      du9wa0tmjc69.png
    4. Management of crafting surveys. "Hey, I'm doing stuff that happens to put me at this location for a survey, but because I hadn't planned on it, the survey isn't in my inventory." Surveys would be much better if we could do them spontaneously in a spur of the moment, and to that end, allowing the surveys to go into the Craft Bag would help a ton.
    5. Event/pursuit overload. Let us play how we want without such frequent and forceful steering.

    Bugs:
    1. Stuck in combat. Plain and simple, both PvP and PvE ones. Sorry, can't excuse this one. Riding on a horse "t pose" bug can be there if you'd like.
    2. Launcher issues when the game server is actually on and available but some things appear as an issue only there, like patch data errors, network ones etc. preventing opening the game if you're steam user and can't go straight to the executable.
    3. Grim focus constant glow. It is definitely falls into a bug category rather than pain point, it just needs to be acknowledged and worked on.
    4. Light attacks not firing off even with close to flawless ping situations. Obviously it's a pipeline situation but I'm sure queuing one la with one ability without button mashing can be solved with enough attention. Mashing situation is trickier but more of a player issue. Probably connected to the issue how we see ping and what actually happens server side.
    5. Glad that fifth eludes me at this point. Might add it later as a reply citing that post.
(Edit: added as a reply already, tldr: trifecta's achievement associated issues like not getting progress or failed checks)

    Pain points:
    1. Overland. Gameplay doesn't match the narrative. Quest suggesting danger where it's absent, threats aren't threatening. I am not interested in harder incursions or some wandering bosses, personally the story from the zone and it being consequential and at least somewhat resembling an RPG would do enough.
    2. Inconsistent development. One day we got hybridisation, but it's yet to be finished stuck in a limbo. I do not like it but it should be able done fully, like many other things that were started and never finished or reversed if it appeared to be a bad idea later. Game has awesome foundation with combat and systems, it should seriously get a harsh look from what was done for good and what's probably might get reverted or finally solved.
    3. Armour dye. It's not consistent: parts tend to be undyeable nowadays unlike preciously released ones, materials mesh seem wrong at times giving weird glows or wrong material type all along.
    4. Gear not matching. There should definitely be a patch with hand adjusted positions for different combinations of pauldrons/chests etc. it's a long way but surely doable. Shields shouldn't flow a meter away from hand same as weapons shouldn't be right in the air clipping through your hand. Yes, there are personalities also but it is a matter of work, not a herculean task.
    5. Overall writing. Personally it's getting worse with every year so that's the only indicator I can give in a short manner. It was beaten to death in various threads throughout the recent years, not hard to find.

Thanks Kevin, such things makes players feel heard and a bit assured of possible actions.

    Top Bug:

    1) Whatever it is that happens with doors in Cyrodiil working inconsistent or too much. Doors leading cause of death sometimes.

    Pain Points:

    1) Inability to cancel when have attempted to rez someone and they don't take it, meaning I can't rez anyone else until they decline or the timer runs out. Would like a system that allows me to cancel after a shorter amount of time than the decay timer.

    2) Inability to hide guild tabard so I can maintain my guild tag without ruining my fashion.

    3) Inability to choose which accessibility options I want. I would like to have chat reader without everything else.

    Bugs

    1. Dungeon queueing bugs of various kinds.
    2. Mastercrafting stations still failing to complete writs and leaving you stuck in an animation that you have to close out of the game to leave, repeatedly (often blacksmithing but can happen with any of the four main stations). This takes all the joy out of having these stations - which cost a fortune to obtain and load up with all the sets.
    3. Guild trader listings often coming up blank instead of showing your items.

    Pain Points

    1. Guildfinder issues including not being able to search by name, more inclusive categories such as dungeons and achievements/completionism (i.e., APs in all categories), getting kicked off guildfinder too soon when you're starting a guild and not giving us sufficient time to advertise before deciding there's not enough activity (and there's no notice of activity requirements)
    2. Guilds need a private guild bank separate from the member-facing one with as many slots as possible. Officers shouldn't have to make alt accounts to have enough space to store stuff. Also a price updating process that actually works and is built into the game rather than add-ons that bog down.
    3. Furnishing limits in housing, especially for collectables and storage
    4. Need a better dungeon grouping algorithm so people don't have to fake queue as tanks or healers when they're not one.
    5. The continuing lack of a comprehensive combat tutorial system, building to more complex topics over the course of leveling up to 50, followed by something on champion points. Ability to turn it off if you don't need it.
    6. The Armory system is incomplete. It needs to be more like Wizards with way more slots but actually work.

1: Companion interaction getting in the way of interacting with the world. please bind the companion interaction button to anything thats not E so we can still harvest nodes or talk to other npcs without our companions getting in the way
2: Sorting the Collectible Fragments tab. its just a cluttered mess having everything jumbled together, please make some new sub-tabs or something to clean it out
3: Seperate the travel to house options. having both the travel inside and travel outside options in a teeny tiny drop down menu makes it hard for me to click on the option i want which means double the loading screen for me. ideally theyd be their own buttons on seperate sides of the housing ui
4: Looted chests/troves/etc. despawn. if a chest has been unlocked or a trove has been partially looted then it should remain for, at most, 1 minute to give the player the opportunity to clear out space in their inventory OR if they choose to leave it half looted with junk no one cares about then it despawns and is primed to respawn with fresh loot for the next player. im sick and tired of cleaning up after players with full inventories
5: Stackable treasure maps and glyphs. this is honestly more of an agony point for me, especially the treasure maps

Bugs? None that ive personally encountered recently. keep up the good work on that front 👍

Pain Point 1: CP 1-159 is a redundant level range that you go through once and never again. You also go through it pretty fast, so that makes the crafting materials in its level range very briefly used, and once you pass it, they become redundant. I am of the opinion that when a new player first reaches Lvl 50, they should start off at CP level 160 so they can start earning gear that will remain relevant right away.
Pain Point 2: Fishing feels pretty neglected. It was once mentioned that there was an attempt to revamp many years ago, and there was also a Daedric Lord of Fishing associated with Hircine that never got explored. Additionally, there was a bunch of anniversary commemorative activity achievements added for a decade of various activities, but there was none for fishing showing you have fished in every base game, chapter, and DLC zone. I'd like something like a Grand Master Angler title.
Pain Point 3: Base game revamp zones starting with Update 45 were very needed and appreciated, however, i know that it is outside the current scope ZOS had in mind but zones could use a few more additions. Additions i’d like include new Khajiit Furstocks in Khenarthi's Roost, and new Motifs used for older NPCs like the Seamont Raider outfit for the Seamont Clan in Betnikh. But the most noticeable thing are the rock textures in old zones being outdated.
Pain Point 4: I'd like it if you could preview dyes at an outfit station to see if its worth grinding for it.
Pain Point 5: Play in any order feels strange from a lore perspective. At the very least I'd like it if for future stories NPCs behaved like a decade passed. Or at minimum, that they didn't act like we were still in 2E 582.

    1) Quest NPC's break if you go too fast (Especially notable during Companion Recruitment)
    2) Audio Glitches (No sounds after Wayshrining, Zerith speaking as though he's sat on my shoulder etc)

Those are the only bugs I encounter frequently enough to notice.

    Top Pain Points

    1) Skill line experience being tied to having skills on the active bar making it super annoying to have to decide between having an actually useful set up or maximizing exp gains.
    2) Companions are stoopid and will always stand in the red (Whilst simultaneously chastising me the millisecond red appears under my feet)
    3) Wayshrine discovery is a mess. You can take a boat/caravan to a major city and then have to run across the city to pick up the wayshrine for some reason.
    4) There's not enough subcategories for cosmetic items to be able to mix together say, markings, scars, jewellery etc. (Also, any chance of being able to recolour cosmetics?)
    5) Too much inventory clutter. Non-stacking of Treasure Maps, various items where you need to collect ALL 10 of them before you can consume them to get a reward, items like the Construct parts that literally sit in your inventory until you hand them in etc.

Bug 2 - Infinite Archive boss bug which can create a stuck point you can't get past and force a reset of the run
Bug 3 - Trying to harvest a node directly beside another one, like at a survey, will fail
Bug 4 - Lead RNG can not possibly be working properly. After 500+ maps, I do not have the codex for Apocryphal Well. If someone out there intends over 500 maps for a single codex completion, I'd examine if that is healthy for the game
Bug 5 - Companions being unable to properly taunt Gothmau (Infinite Archive marauder) and similar enemies

    Top Pain Points
Pain Point 1 - I'd love to see a minimap (optional toggle) implemented
Pain Point 2 - Some effects are too flashy or overwhelming to concentrate properly and can even cause health issues such as seizures due to the bright flashing (Matriarch or other pet stacks on a player or flashing ground effects like Liquid Lightning/Nova)
Pain Point 3 - Account wide settings would make it much easier to roll new characters
Pain Point 4 - Some way to unlock companions faster on alts would be welcome
Pain Point 5 - The buff RNG being such a major factor in Infinite Archive (Focused Efforts is miles ahead of most other buffs)

1 - Ballgroups are a serious problem in Cyrodiil, there is no way to cauterize ballgroups currently
2 - Lag and FPS drops whenever a ballgroup is nearby, causing disconnections and kicks out of the server.
3 - infinite combat, making it impossible to get on mounts, etc.

I believe that all these problems are simple to solve in PVP

Pain Points is just like asking for QoL right? So... i might put a little bit more as some of mine are rather small and tied to the same system.

    1. Fashion.
    Spoiler
    - We got to the point where there is hundreds of style pages and looking thorugh all of them is a pain. I would like to get "Favorities" tab where we can put styles we like the most.

    - We have to click color after color using mouse if we want to check them all which isnt pleasant as its a lot of clicking. I would like to be able to select "next" color or style by using WSAD or arrows.

    - Colors. Or rather not matching colors. On 1 style we have a beautiful dark green and on other black with a tint of green. It makes mixing styles awful as colors just dont match. And im not talking about it being diffrent on leather material and on metal. Im talking about the same color being diffrent on the same material on diffrent styles.

    2. Combat and Balancing.
    Spoiler
    - I would like to have more viable options to build my characters. After hybridisation the amount of vailable builds dropped and never come back because the classes and sets werent rly updated to this day, just bare minimum.
System like Spellcrafting for classes would be nice as it would allow us to choose which damage type we want on our skills and bonuses. (DK example) So instead of Burning Embers dealing flame damage and healing i could make Burning Embers that deal flame damage and have 12% scaling every tick that Venomous Claw has. It would open a lot of options and we would be no longer locked in specific damage types.

    - Alchemy wasnt updated either and there isnt a lot of option for potions too. I would like to see this finally updated too. Like i would love to get potions that give Stamina/Magicka/Brutality.

    - On that note... I would LOVE if Devs listened more to players concerns on PTS when we talk about balancing.

    - I would like to see a rework to HA builds. Instead of them relying on a single item, make it into actuall second combat system for players who prefer slower combat.

    3. Endeavours
    Spoiler
    - I would like to make them more weekly instead of daily. Like have 5 options every week and we can do 2 of them instead of 1/3 weekly and 3/5 every day, so players who have less time arent as punished for not playing as much.

    4. Content Designing
    Spoiler
    - Overall i would like to ZOS to stop trying to put everyone in the same basket when designing new content. Like Bastion Nymic and IA. Trying to mix more casual players with veteran players by giving only 1 option of difficulty is awful. We like diffrent difficulties and shouldnt be forced into ones we dont like.

    Bugs.
    Spoiler
As for bugs i dont have much to say except Stuck in Combat. Well maybe i will mention Block Bug and Range Taunt Bug because every time those happen the life of tanks is miserable. I still remember 2 months long Block Bug...
So i would like ZOS to resolve gamebreaking bug faster and not ignore them on PTS.
Oh and adds running into walls or ceilings. That one is irritating too. Or invisible ones...

    STUCK IN COMBAT x5

There’s plenty of bugs in this game, I’d happily list 5 different ones but this is the only bug that genuinely makes me rage. I’d happily sacrifice and entire quarter of juicy new stuff in exchange for all the devs sitting down and finally figuring this one out

    Top Pain Points
    • The complete neglect of Cyrodiil in general
    • The unreliability of Xbox voice chat. Being kicked and unable to get voice chat back unless you jump through multiple mindless hoops
    • Craglorn surveys in general (why 1-3?)
    • Cross play. I get that there’s various different technical restrictions and limitations with this but I would at least like to see my crown store purchases and collectibles able to be transferred over
    • The general ugliness of guild tabbards. Let us hide them already
    • Performance. The fact the game seemed to perform better on the old generation Xbox Ones says a lot

    Top Bugs/Issues:
    1. Nightblade's Grim Focus causes your weapons to permanently glow. They should either glow ONLY when the activable is available, or they should not glow at all.
    2. The chat text box clears itself when you click off it.

    Top pain points:
    1. Character models are too low detail, with too few polygons and low-resolution textures.
    2. The unfinished hybridization of stats and equipment. Specifically, merging weapon/spell damage, weapon/spell critical, and physical/magical resistance into a single stat.
    3. Lack of standardizing numbers to make stats more manageable. Having all characters be technically level 66 creates all of these messy numbers like "667 critical" or "1638 penetration" that are just unintuitive and hard to understand.
    4. There are too many items sets and their number continues to grow. Merging item sets with similar use cases (Like Hunding's Rage and Law of Julianos) could reduce the bloat.
    5. There are too many crafting items. Inventory and bank space is too limited. I understand Rich said not that long ago that increasing space is complicated for technical reasons, so maybe it'd be easier to condense crafting materials instead. Have 1 style material serve for multiple different motifs. Or condense crafting tiers by merging Lvl50, CP10, CP40, CP70, CP90, CP150 crafting materials into 1, inheriting the stats of the current CP150 materials.

Personally, my biggest pain point as a character completionist is that the implementation of Account Wide Achievements made it so that you can get forever-locked out of certain dialogues which are tied to achievements.

For example, the Undaunted "This One's On Me" stops you from ever experiencing the dialogue from buying the various Undaunted members drinks on new characters. There is also the Hollow City Undaunted members who will congratulate you on returning to the Vaults of Madness despite never venturing there on a new character (you also miss out on their hilarious Undaunted chant since you can't pay for their drinks).

Another example is overworld encounters with dialogue which are tied to achievements like "Crime Pays", where the merchants will act as though you already pilfered them. I'm certain this affects some other DLC overworld encounters too.

NOTE: I'm not asking for achievements to be player specific, but rather the dialogue tied to certain achievements to be player specific.

Issue 1) Lack of Vertical Camera Sliders on consoles! It's been years. Many times, many players have expressed discontent in not having the same Vertical Camera Sliders the PC version has since launch. It really hurts the experience, not being able to achieve a cinematic feel present in every gameplay trailer. EDIT: and while at it, fix the "new environmental sustainability features" that are breaking the console experience for many.

Issue 2) Lack of weight feeling with weapons/skills. To be clear, a lightning staff played with a controller feels right - especially heavy attacks. Everything else seems lacking weight, resulting in a floaty combat that looks bad.

Issue 3) Movement/animations: It can get really annoying when your character can't step on a miniscule pebble and get stuck; this relates to a general animation problem that needs different improvements, like not losing personality traits when sprinting/running, and the (in)famous Weaving - wether Weaving will stay or not, the clunky animation it generates should be addressed, it feels all but natural.

Issue 4) Lack of a difficulty slider/need for better scaling. I'm happy that I can solo a Dragon but it shouldn't go down in 5 seconds during an event. On the other hand, even if I can solo an Harrowstorm MANY players find it impossible. A better scaling or a difficulty slider are very much needed to make combat fun for everyone, so that who wants can have a "story mode" and breaze through every piece of content.

Issue 5) too much RNG still. Stickerbook is very much appreciated but Leads can have unbelievably bad RNG. It just feels wrong, a bug, when some leads take forever and some times never drop. Same could apply for Plans or Recipes.

    Top Pain Points

Pain Point 1) More space needed. I would propose to lift the basic inventory by 20 slots; let Companions carry their Gear; find a way to store lots of furnishings with order, not being forced to amass them in an unusable huge house; let be possible for the armory to carry saved items freeing your inventory slots.

Pain Point 2) Armory slots and Outfit slots being sold the way they are makes them not worth the price/investment. They need to be account wide or adjusted in price, lowered very much.

Pain Point 3) General Crown Store/Crown Crates/Seals of Endeavor prices. Everything is way too expensive, especially Tokens. I can agree an assistant is an immense value and it's worth the price, but once I have one the subsequent are just reskins - I shouldn't pay full price. We would have more people into housing if they were cheaper, maybe more cozy instead of huge. Seals needed for Radiant Apex should be lowered, but also in general.

Pain Point 4) We need an incentive to play group activities but in a way that doesn't coerce players; I don't want another Transmute Crystals situation. I feel a better solution would be having daily quests in every region, maybe even for fishing and other activities. The world needs to feel alive and the Pan-Tamriel celebration has done that. We need a reason to play overland - if playing traders or doing passive stuff gives us more, we are not incentivized to go out and play with others doing World Bosses and World Events, quests and such. It's a flaw of Infinite Archive, having the quests inside the instance where you can't see who is going to take them when you are, making impossible to randomly group (except for group finder, which is good but not much utilized; maybe push a bit that?)

Pain Point 5) Limitations need to go. Event Tickets? Transmute Crystals? Anything really. No need for a limit, please.

    I mainly have pain points:
    1. Remove Class restrictions for the Class Outfit Styles, as it was possible to try them out without restrictions on any character on PTS (and previewable on LIVE) before Scions of Ithelia was available for testing.
    2. Separate the Weapon & Shield styles that have "Acquired from purchase, promotion or event" in their pop-up description into their own sections at the bottom of the interface (like the Signature Armor Styles are currently). Applies to any Style that is available in the Crown Store, Crown Crates or from Events.
    3. Make the Companions more resistant to incoming damage in Overland, Delves, Dungeons, etc., just like in the Infinite Archive.
    4. Fragments for Captain Kaleen and Card Conjuring seem to have a non-existent drop rate, as I haven't gotten any new Fragments a few months after Necrom's release or around Update 39's release (both are stuck at 1/10 and 2/10).
    5. Make certain Bind-on-pickup items tradable for players that don't enjoy certain activities. Applies mainly to Cyrodiil, Imperial City, Battlegrounds and Infinite Archive Style Pages.

Bug 1: Abilities that can knock up players intro structures in PvP (Mainly meteor hitting players into tower roofs)
Bug 2: NPC's within Cyrodiil not obeying CC cooldowns (They are using the old disorient hard CC which ignores modern Hard CC limits)
Bug 3: The "break free bug" (hard to reproduce) suspected to be mainly caused by streak stun where your player when you attempt to CC break can and will continually break free granting endless CC immunity. You cannot sprint etc anymore.
Bug 4: Mytics randomly can and will turn off after certain deaths. You sometimes have to re-equip.
Bug 5: Rush of agony will become erratic if used on the top floors of keeps as in wont pull anymore.

    Top Pain Points

Pain Point 1: Dragonknights Leap ability bypasses all snare immunity and slows you regardless of speed or status.
Pain Point 2: Guards within Cyrodiil need updating. They have all "old skills". For example the damage taken debuff for guards is still 30%. The defile from snipers is 50% and can even stack. Just some examples. Even causes bugs like listed above. Guards also ignore all LOS.
Pain Point 3: Oil used to be blockable, now isn't again. Probably need clarity this one.
Pain Point 4: Tri-focus passive for lightning heavy attack still bypasses battle spirit if used on an NPC near a player.
Pain Point 5: Camp's could be slightly bigger. There is many instances where people try to help but place incorrectly due to odd keep range.

nice to see this kind of post.

i cannot currently think of bugs so will update later if i remember any.

    Top Bugs/Issues:

    Bug 1:
Certain Wayshrines do not allow Mounts
    - Argonian style in Shadowfen, Coldharbour, Murkmire, and Blackwood.
    - Hew's Bane style in Hew's Bane.
    - Colovian style in West Weald.

Not a wayshrine, but archways in Imperial City can dismount you also.

Bug and issue 2 and 3:
    Writs (Bug/issue)
    Bug:

    - Daily Enchanting writs for Trifling Glyph of Health don't show up when you have the filter for Quest Objectives enabled.
Meaning we have to scroll through the long list of runes for Jora and Oko, if a character has this quest.

    Issue:
    - It would be really helpful if Master Writs had an extra line that mentions whether or not you have learned the relevant motif.

    Issue 4:
Lack of Search functionality, especially on Playstation and Xbox
If i recall correctly PC has search functionality in Collections and the Transmute Station, please give this to consoles too.

And quite sure none of the platforms have search functionality in crafting stations.
It would make searching for a specific crafting motif or furniture plan/style much simpler.

    Issue 5:
Lack of desks furnishings in recent years
Most furniture styles from recent years do not have desks we can craft, despite seeing them as assets in overland:
    - High isle
    - Necrom
    - Colovian
    - Dawnwood

    Top Pain Points:

    Pain Point 1:
    Tassets and Loincloths.
They makes me avoid the majority of Chest styles as they: (either or all of these)
    - they clip through a lot of Leg styles.
    - they float away from the character.
    - they simply don't match (like metal tassets on a cloth robe).
Plus the loincloths don't seem to have physics when our characters sit down.

    Relevant addition,
i started this post last year to list every style without Tassets and/or Loincloths.
The majority without both are Signature styles from Events, there's only a few motifs in the list.
    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/650919/list-of-outfit-styles-without-tassets-and-loincloths-will-try-to-update

    Pain Point 2:
    Accessibility, effects
As someone with photosensitivity issues,, high bright effects, flashes, and strobing can cause problems like migraines. Which isn't pleasant.

So it would be lovely to have a Toggle for these things and/or a slider for intensity.
a Toggle would ideally let us turn off these effects completely.
a Slider would ideally let us decide the intensity of these effects,
    - 100% would be how it currently is.
    - 0% would be no flashing/strobing at all.
    - in-between would be slower if it's strobing.

Some examples of where this causes issues:
    (within the spoiler)
    Spoiler
    - Hard Mode Scrolls/Scroll of Glorious Battle in base game and imperial city dungeons
    Big white flash.

    - Aetherian Archive.
the portals cause a big white flash to appear on the whole screen.

    - Quests
Certain quests have points where there's the same flash, one of the Blackwood Prologue quests is one of these. the Daedric Unwarding Amulet memento from that Prologue causes a flash as well.

    - Crown Store styles
    examples:
    - The purple flash effect that appears when you Equip a weapon that uses the Prior Thierric style.
    - The glow effect pulsing too fast in Y'ffre bound, Aetheriusbound, and Order of the Lamp weapons.

    - Skills
Strobing in the Arcanist's Fatecarver, Remedy Cascade, and Unblinking Eye skills.

    - Mounts
Explosive/flashy mount summoning effects like from:
    - Spellscar Quasigriff.
    - Spirit Queen Welwa.
    - Harrowstorm Bear and the other Storm Atronach mounts.
    - Shackled Titan.

    - Spindleclutch.
the Whisperer and Swarm Mother have attacks which causes a big flash for the whole screen several times during the fights usually.

    - Antiquity Scrying
there's a flash when you open the Antiquarian's Eye to Scry for a lead.

    Pain Point 3:
    Treasure Maps and Surveys.
Treasure Maps don't stack & we have to move away and back from Survey and Treasure Map locations if we have duplicates (in bank or inventory).

    Pain Point 4:
No save function in the Infinite Archive like the other arenas.
It takes several hours to get close to Arc 4 but at that point i am always out of energy to actually continue.

    Pain Point 5:
    Home diversity.
Most new homes are notable and whilst i do like the big homes, more Classic Medium homes like Seabloom Villa would be awesome, especially if purchaseable with Gold or acquirable via quests like Hall of the Lunar Champion.

Plus importantly, to me, there still isn't a Notable Bosmer home and all past Bosmer Homes are only Pods.
some examples for potential notable bosmer homes:
    Spoiler
    - A little grove in Valenwood with Dawnwood assets (like the Dawnwood trees and Orange/Blue flowers) with a waterfall and a pond, enough space to add a few of the new Dawnwood hut furnishings, and maybe a little Ayleid ruin.
    - a big treehouse like Cormount (North Grahtwood) and Woodhearth (Southwest Greenshade) have.

As I don't have much time at the moment I'll come back to clarify some more and order this properly later, but these are just some general thoughts:

    1) Hybridization all the way back from 2021 has been left incomplete. You got up to a point where some stuff got hybridized, but there are still some things that never got expanded upon like weapon/spell damage or physical/spell resists, which has led to scenarios where classes like Stam Sorc have to rely on spell crit potions.

    2) Treasure maps and surveys should be stackable.

    3) Necromancer's kit has tethering issues and the skills are filled with bugs, not to mention Grave Lord's Sacrifice never getting updated in a year even though you said you would keep an eye on it.

    4) I think it's high time we stop releasing new item sets and instead solely focus on reworking/revamping older sets, now you have started to do this, but I don't see the point in adding new sets to the game when 95% of the sets that exist now are never used in any capacity and that number continues to grow with every single update.

    5) Dungeon finder often bugs out if you try to queue in a group with the tank or healer as the crown.

    6) Console needs a way to make it so we don't see other people's combat pets/followers/non-combat pets/companions in instanced content. PC can already do this with addons, the problem with visibility is getting worse since Arcanist and now Matriarch got even more obvious with the skill style.

    1. NPCs will still lock players into combat well outside of their leashing range, and will only disengage when unsucessfully hit. Possibly related to the ongoing issue of being stuck in combat with an NPC that you can't see.
    2. Interactables will often decide to just not be interacted with, an issue that seems to crop up most with harvesting nodes - your character will run up to them, and then not do anything; interacting with the object again will not result in the intended interaction until you move a few steps away and come back.
    3. Looting dead bodies often prompts "You are too far away", despite other interactable objects like material nodes moving you closer to the object if you are close enough to get the interaction prompt but not far enough to actually interact with it. The behavior of this should be consistent; you should either always move towards the object, or always be told you are too far away.
    4. Zerith-var's dialogue can be heard and seen in the chatlog by people other than the person he is following. Seriously, please just spend two minutes in Alik'r. You cannot hear anything over the fifty Zerith-vars all saying "As goes the Lattice, so goes Nirni" all at once, because everyone has him out and everyone else can hear him.
    5. After completing God of Schemes, if the NPC filter is enabled for the chat log, upon completing a dolmen, two different lines of Molag Bal dialogue will be printed to the log, though he will only say one of them. This has been occurring for years.
    Top Pain Points
    1. The scrolling motif selection when crafting is entirely nonviable with how many motifs currently exist - it was fine back in 2014 when there were only 12 to choose from, but now with ten times that many, we need a grid instead. The scrolling list for motifs is unreasonable for scrolling through almost 130 styles, especially when they are not arranged in any apparent order - they are not consistently in numerical order, as for example Motif #10, Imperial, is in position 31 in the scrolling list; and they are not in release order, as Malacath (#23) is in position 12, between Dark Brotherhood (#36) and Dwemer (#15), while Trinimac (#22), from the same DLC, is in position 19, between Daedric (#14) and Ancient Orc (#21). Replace the scrolling motif list with a grid, or else organize the motifs in numerical order so that they can be found much more easily.
    2. Rich material nodes from surveys do not drop housing materials, which adds artificial and unreasonable difficulty to obtaining the massive quantities of these materials required to craft any substantive amount of furniture. Their drop rate from normal nodes is unreasonably low for their extremely common use, and surveys are not as useful as they should be since they do not yield any materials that are actually useful in such large quantities - heartwood is used in much larger quantities much more frequently than ruby ash ever is, for example. Surveys should drop housing materials, as the current scarcity of such materials does not accurately reflect their actual function as items to be used in bulk, hundreds at a time.
    3. While the housing editor has received some great quality-of-life updates since the launch of housing, there's still one major issue: there's no freecam in the housing editor. This makes it very difficult to precisely arrange things that are supposed to be in an unusual position, and even things that are supposed to be in a fairly standard position can be very difficult to adequately measure when you have to be standing on the ground or on an existing furnishing. The housing editor would become infinitely more versatile if we could fly around while editing.
    4. With the Wailing Prison reinstated and other efforts being made to guide new players to experiencing the game in its proper order, the biggest flaw of the Harborage questline is now more apparent than ever: the original level-gating on it no longer exists, so it's possible to rush through what was supposed to be 45 levels of quests all back-to-back with no delay between. Some delay, perhaps the original level-gating, should be reinstated to the Prophet's quests. This would make the original main quest feel much more adequately paced and once again allow new players the time to become familiar with the game before being thrust into the ending of the main questline.
    5. The icon for Pulverized Antimony is exactly the correct color such that, in the Refine Materials menu, it does not appear any differently when you have enough of it to refine, or when you do not. Rubedite Ore has a similar problem, but does have a slight visible change. The red filter applied to items that you do not have enough of to refine should be changed to darken the inventory icon more, or the inventory icons for Pulverized Antimony and Rubedite Ore should be changed so they are less deeply red, making it more apparent that the red filter is active.

Pain Point 1 Searching all over the map in every zone and there is absolutely nothing for Sale at the Guild Traders.....The time for an Auction House is long....long ...past due. The way it currently looks...we have a dead economy and that is terrible for the health and wellbeing of a MMO especially one as big a s ESO. I would say if anything is needed above all of it...it would be an Auction House....right now the average players is forced to join a guild that has it's own issues and foibles or to trade in Zone chat when the bones of a Auction House is already in place...it's time to face the fact that a Guild based economy just doesn't work we are left with empty trading wagons and guilds only trading amongst themselves

Pain Point 2 The Filter system on the map needs to be improved...it's confusing when phased quest show up on the map and most addons only make the issue worse

Pain Point 3 The companion system is barebones and needs work, everything from Sharp just standing with his hands in his pockets while you fish (Even though he always wants to go fishing with you) to Mirri saying the exact two lines over and over again no matter how much you adjust the conversation, and there is so many missed opportunities with Companions...like the barebones quest system or the fact that there is no banter between companions if you are grouped with someone who has their companions out...there is just so much more that can be done.

Pain Point 4 The glitchiest of the client it usually takes five to ten mins just to launch ESO because I am forever running into bugs that prevent launch.

Pain Point 5 New content in the major cities....in ESO once you have done the side quest unless there is a new area available the game is over...and there should never be a end to a MMO...instead of forever expanding how about new questlines in Daggerfall/Wayrest...etc say after you complete all the side quest a whole new batch shows up...that would be awesome for those who mostly play overland content....heck you could take this approach all over the game and give us so much more content to do...

Pain Point 6 The game and world needs to be more Dynamic I really think that more things need to happen to you when your out in the world besides see quest do quest move to next quest...The game has the mechanics built in to allow for this so it shouldn't be that huge of a deal to implement and it could really add excitement to the game.

Pain Point 7 There needs to be more consequence in the game now by consequence I don't mean a level 1 wolf one shotting a level 50 character...what I'm talking about is finding things like cursed items they way we did in TES 1-5 or being falsely accused of something Heinous...anything to add a bit of spice in the day to day gameplay.

Pain Point 8 The average player has a great deal of content unavailable to him unless they join a guild or participate in a Dungeon finder that is often Toxic unwelcoming and potentially unsafe...There is a great need for a Story mode for Dungeons and Trials...this will increase available content by a minimum of 30% it will also ad value to the developers creating content because more people will be exposed to all the exciting things they would otherwise never have an opportunity to see. The only reason to keep the masses away from enjoying the devs hard work are selfish ones IMHO.

Well that's it from me I am super happy you guys are listening...
