I don't have a big list of bugs, for me the game is very stable and nice. I'm overland solo player, doing some normal group activity from time to time. Did some veteran dungeons and craglorn trials with friends.

    Top Bugs/Issues

Bug 1: disconnects in Dungeons/Trials, and then you try to login in and have the message: Something wrong. Try later. And of course having perfect Internet connection
Bug 2: disconnecting/logging out in Event Zone/Cyro/Imperial City when event is up (cannot log in back again because zone is full). There should be an option to be logged in in alliance base zone instead.
    Bug 3: none
    Bug 4: none
    Bug 5: none

    Top Pain Points

Pain Point 1: RNG. Curated drops of Blue/Purple furnishing plans. Ok, so hear me out, there is like 1% chance you get a plan, but if you do after zillions of openned containers, we will punish you with 1% of 1%, so you cannot count on the Law of large numbers and the expected value of drops to counter your bad luck. I have I feeling that such a punish mechanism is implemented in more ways, e.g. looting leads (treasure maps, trials, dungeons). So if you punish players for good luck, maybe you should award them for bad luck and include some random extra positive chance to surprise them with a reward? Like with extra chance in Public Dungeons fragment, which is one of the GREATEST improvements to RNG system in recent years in my opinion.
Pain Point 2: RNG and size of the game. The game is HUGE now. For a new player it will be pain to collect half of interesting collectibles. For example leads from treasure maps - you have so many type of maps, so that probability of getting an interesting map (e.g. new one) diminishes significantly: when there were 10 zones, the probability to get desired map was 10%, with 46 zones it is about 2%... The same with furnishing plans - the base game plans shows up in the zones too often, and then you are punished for getting one (see point 1). This makes some furnishing plans ridiculously expensive (20+ millions of gold...). Ok I get it, there should be some hard things to get in the game, but this is just ridiculous. If we as players have statistics on how much things cost in guild vendors, so you must have too... It might be healthy for the whole community, so that you consider tweaking RNG in favour of some items, when their supply is ridiculously low. Next, fishing for angler achivements - the popularity of fishing in the last event says everything. Leads for Dov'Rah sabatons, especially the Southern Elsweyr (1 specific zone) Psijic Portals (small chance to appear) x probability to get lead (extremely small). I just got it last time when it was in Weekly Vendors, otherwise it was nightmare to try to get it from portals (for several runs over the whole area I found 3 portals, no lead...)... Not to mention rewards for playing ToT nowadays, which takes a lot of time. I'm still waiting to get one of the used cards from boxes to complete the achievements...
Pain Point 3: Weekly Vendors. This is also one of the GREATEST idea addressing the problems mentioned earlier, BUT the selection is TERRIBLE (mainly of leads / maps). It was advertised as a way to get hard to find leads among others, but what we usually get is some leads that can be picked from the ground (once and for all, and then you cannot buy more of this lead). One might argue that if you don't have access to that zone, you can pick up the lead, but for those leads from the ground, it is impossible to dig them out without an access to that zone. Please, reconsider making a good list of rare things you put into the vendors (IA leads, Dov'Rah, Trial/Dungeon leads, Scarab parts leads, etc. ), so that the really hard to find leads appear more often and are useful. That way running IA will be more compelling.
Pain Point 4: Customisation of "hide interface". I would love to have an option to hide all of the interface to witness the game in all it's glory, but also to have an option to access menus like inventory, map, journal, etc. Also, cursor hidden, but if I stand for more than some seconds pointing to interactable object (NPC, door, chest), so the hint appears. Oh, and an option to start a dialogue and see the dialogue selection window in such a mode.
Pain Point 5: Minimap. For PC players it's not a big deal (addons...), but it would ba a great thing to have included!

As a side note: option to replay Dungeon story quest would be awesome for those who lost the chance rushing after a RND guys rushed to finish their daily... You know, the same quest, but without a 1skill point and extra reward, just maybe gold and XP (reduced).

    (1) Guilds needing a proper Guild Hall that is *independent* of players, and linked to the guild as a whole. So that if the "Guild Hall" owner decides to retire from the game, the guild doesn't lose everything and have to rebuild from scratch.

    (2) I want 3-team Battlegrounds back. 2-team makes pretty much every Objective game turn into Deathmatch, especially if all the Objectives are too close together - or if one team can camp the other's spawning ground. The 3-team maps were actually better in that regard: if 2 teams made the mistake of duking it out and ignoring the objectives, the 3rd team could win by actually playing the rules.

    (3) Curate the antiquity motifs that drop from treasure maps until all codex entries are known. Do this without reducing the actual appearance rate of motifs from maps.

    (4) Higher drop rates for second and subsequent leads for the same thing. At present the drop rate for antiquity leads is reasonable for a first one, and often near-impossible for a second or third.

    (5) A better chance of antiquity leads dropping from all CYCLE bosses. It should be rare to complete an entire Arc (4 Cycle bosses and the Arc boss) without receiving at least one lead.

    (6) Vendors in the IA should, at all times, have on sale at least one lead that is *only* available in the IA. The other one can come from anywhere.

    Top Bugs/Issues
Bug 1: Change of terrain (i.e. a rock or a skull) cleanses taunt or prevents healing
Bug 2: Lag causes skills not to fire or bar swap to stick
Bug 3: Visual desync results in damage when you are not in an AOE
Bug 4: Light attacks get "stuck" after a block, preventing tanks from effectively weaving as well as they otherwise could
Bug 5: For the love of all things, fix the freaking circle on the last boss of Castle Thorn. The broken circle has been an issue for 4 years. We have sent so many clips of it being broken. You added a new fragment to Castle Thorn after we told you it was busted beyond belief. We have tagged Devs as many times as possible. And still, STILL, there is no recognition that it is broken or indication of even a timeframe for a fix.
Bug 6: Instance degrading is a significant issue for prog teams.

    Top Pain Points
Pain Point 1: Ground skills get stuck while casting
Pain Point 2: Dirt mounds from treasure maps are basically impossible to see when its dark
Pain Point 3: Can't select which debuffs from others you can see. Its an all or nothing deal
Pain Point 4: Can't select which buffs you can see and which you can't on your own bar
Pain Point 5: Would love to see combat metrics on console
Pain Point 6: It would be super cool if there were more collectible things for achievements in dungeons outside of titles. I can only display one title at a time. A collectible furnishing or something for getting the dungeon trifecta would be really neat. Same thing for trial HMs.

I really feel you on Pain Point 1. I run into that issue very frequently. The whole skill holds up, and I'm already casting other skills. It's supposed to an auto-cast and it just doesn't work sometimes.

    5. Bomber Builds need to be balanced. They make PvP no fun.

Bug #1: Constant Eidetic Memory issues, with a lot of books not obtainable, and some non-existent in Eidetic Memory, with every single update. A fraction of books not existing in EM:
    * Tomb of Ja'darri
    * Job Offer
    * Indrik diagram
    * Bench near Orsinium museum
    * On Behalf of the Mages Guild of all Tamriel
    * Constable Seeks Deputy
    * Groundskeeper Gaius's Map
    * Recollection Map
    * Sketch from the Gardener
    * Blank Paper (Uprooted quest in Auridon)
    * Skein of Secrets (King Nantharion's Gambit quest)
    * Laughing Moon's Ledger
    * Dark Brotherhood leaflet

Bug #2: The Pale Order's Golden Band lead being unobtainable -- despite being reported since the beginning and even having the dedicated page on TES site acknowledging that for years

Bug #3: Furnishings having "hitboxes" around them (e.g., putting a carved pumpkin to hover between the "horns" of the Daedric Enchanting Station disables it despite there being lots of empty space there)

Bug #4: Some bosses (e.g., 2 bosses in the Underweave) not dropping any loot -- again, despite numerous reports over a significant time

Bug #5: Too many Tales of Tribute combo cards bugged

Pain point #1: Keybindings being stored server-side and therefore shared between different PCs, even when those have completely different keyboard layouts

Pain point #2: The limit of 100 entries in ignore (and friend) list

Pain point #3: Lack of clear random drop chances information

Pain point #4: These still not being the Reach Winter motif available

Pain point #5: Lack of stats beyond achievements (e.g., how much fenced total, how many zombies killed total, etc)

    BUGS:
    1. Getting stuck in combat because of some unseen mob that you didn't even know you interacted with.
    2. UI freezes while harvesting. Click node, nothing happens. Move away, come back, try again. Eventually the node responds and you can harvest it. Happens a lot with surveys, especially.
    3. Let it be that you are trying to find a dig site. You use the eye, it points you in a direction. You follow it, don't find the dig site. Click the eye again, it points you right back the way you came, and THEN you find the dig site because it didn't render on the first pass.
    4. Targeting. The aiming reticle REALLY needs to be more precise. I'm trying to click on an object like a crafting station; my reticle is directly on it. But for some reason, it's picking up the NPC that's standing off to the side and not even in my line of sight. Or I end up clicking on some stealable object that I didn't mean to and triggering the guards.

    PAIN POINTS:
    1. Eight home storage chests of different sizes. SOLUTION: ONE 60-slot chest, which can be expanded up to eight times for a total of 480 slots, just like your bank.
    2. Desperate need for a ESO+ furnishing bag. Half my houses are just warehouses holding extra furnishings.
    3. Make treasure maps stackable.
    4. Make gear sets for armory builds easier to store in your bank or inventory. Let's say I have a healing gear set saved in an armory build. How about the ability to bundle that gear into a "container" associated with that build that I can label, instead of having all the individual pieces spread out where I have to dig for them and taking up space?
    5. Mobs chasing you into the next province until either you hit them or they hit you, interrupting you and then becoming invulnerable as they run away, no doubt laughing at you as they do so. Leashing distances need to be shorter and disengagement should be automatic.

    -Top 5 Bugs/Issues-

People have already reported most of what's worth reporting for this so I'll skip except for:

    1) Artillery camera is terrible and rough to adjust in Cyrodiil.
    2) On the Ebonheart Heavy Style Motif, the Heavy Belt does not have all of its color channels unlocked and so if you look at it, there's this 'misty-grey-white' texture that looks really raw and awful and can't be adjusted. If I'm using a black color-tone then I don't want to keep that default texture I want that to be black also. Its looks raw and terrible. To be clear, it shows up on the belt but I think it may actually be a problem with the Cuirass texturing and not the belt. I dunno but it looks really bad and damages the overall look of the style which is really awesome in appearance.
    3) Have to spend Crowns to Adjust Hair Colors.
    4) If you go into the character editor, some races like Breton and Dunmer seem to be using a lower resolution for certain facial features, such as eyebrows, compared to others like Altmers and Bosmers.
    5) Can produce multiple items but cannot upgrade multiple items together. This is very frustrating to have to keep clicking one item at a time when mass-producing sets.

    -Top Pain Points-

    1) Cannot re-arrange the order in which Guilds are listed. A use case would be placing my Trade Guilds at the top and PvP or RP Guilds at the bottom. Its a minor thing but gets your attention over time and looks messy. Only work-around is to drop guilds and beg to get re-added (lol) in a specified order, which could change at any given time quite frankly. It's just an annoying problem to have.

    2) Inventory excludes Armory Builds. So in other words, if I have a build is there some way to have my inventory clear of these items? Why is this important. Basically my inventory is just there for temporary storage and sellables, stuff like that. If I have like 3 or 4 Armory slots full then that's a jumbled mess of items in my inventory and I can't always tell what belongs there and what doesn't, even for locked items. Sometimes I have additional locked items there for reasons and it all sort of blends together. Would be a huge QoL improvement and I'm willing to bet there's an easy way to do this without busting everyone's time on this. What about adding a special column in the character inventory that is exclusively for Armory builds? That way, those items show up there, free and clear of the regular item list(s).

    3) Stackable Treasure Maps. I mean, typically speaking these days I just delete them anyways, stopped giving them away because people would fire them back at me after 2 or 3 weeks :/ Could sell 'em would be good for the economy, good for those who need 'em. Would be a very good thing overall I think.

    4) Inconsistent Doors in Cyrodiil. These things are very painful to deal with. Can someone please look at the code for these and I dunno maybe there's a better way to do this? How about a switch that can open or shut the door?

    5) Can we please have a 5th CP Slot for each category? Green/Blue/Red etc. Doing this would help make up for some of the pain caused from nerfs and so forth. Would be a very much, "play your way" type of change and would be welcomed.

Bug 1. Character's SFX are missing in Skingrad sometimes.
Bug 2. Bugged second boss (Cernunnon) in Falkreath dungeon.
Bug 3. You can hear other players' companions talking after completing dark anchors. And these players are not even in the same group as you.

    Top Pain Points

Pain Point 1. Huge fps drop in Murkmire zone. Especially in the wilderness. I like this DLC but rarely go there.
Pain Point 2. Poor rewards for daily quests in Orsinium. There is no guaranteed zone set item and no style materials.
Pain Point 3. Cheaters in PvP who deal 5-6 hits in less than a second. Most likely illegal scripts are used for one mouse click.
Pain Point 4. Reduced the period for selling items in trade guilds to 14 days. Too many returns of unsold items.
Pain Point 5. Treasure maps don't stack. Like survey reports do.
Pain Point 6. Woodworker's gold crafting writs give significantly fewer vouchers than the same writs for the clothing and blacksmithing.
Pain Point 7. You can't put stolen items in your personal (!) chest. This is nonsense. And you can't give them to another player.

Oh, I forgot a pain point that kinda ties in with the others. I think the value of raw stats should go back up - not to what it once was, but the decreased value is showing. I remember when 20k health was more common in PvP, and 25k was burly-ish and 30k was a lot. Then it went up to 25k base, and now it's easy to reach 30k without even trying, or even 35k. Some builds walk around showing 40k, and these builds still have great damage.

It feels like ESO has huge itemization/stat/character-build-power-value/whatever we'd like to call it issues that are just barely beneath the surface of everything. At least in PvP, it's easier than ever to get high damage, sustain, and durability while somehow at the same time it feels like you *need* all that because running 20-25k health means you'll just implode. Stat scaling feels really out of whack. I wonder what would happen if base character values (weapon damage, regens, resources, hp, etc) were all reduced but gear values were bumped up to compensate? I think that'd be a huge undertaking, but the gist shows what I think this pain point is. I hope there's an easier solution to how gearing and pvp feel right now.

    1. Overland: Wayshrines can't be used in combat. This used to be different a few years ago. This is hands down the thing that annoys me the most when exploring the overland. You stand next to the wayshrine and wait for some npc to give up chasing you, who is so far away, that you can't even see them. You can even interact with the wayshrine and navigate the map, but if you choose a porting destination, the map goes away and absolutely nothing happens. No feedback at all. No message "You can't do that in combat". Nothing. Annoying!
    2. Overland: Same for Skyshards. When you start absorbing a skyshard and an npc attacks you, you are forced to wait the full duration, but you won't actually unlock the skyshard. This also used to be different. You would unlock the skyshard at the beginning of the channel and it won't matter if you got attacked during it. I think the same patch that changed the wayshrines also changed the skyshard behavior
    3. Combat: Certain ground abilities sometimes cast twice. It is really easy to accidentally cast ground abilities that need to be manually placed, like "Endless Hail". They feel really different from other skills.
    4. Gameplay: Inventory space in short supply. If you play both as support and dps in in endgame trials, you need many different sets. ESO quickly turns into an inventory space management simulator.
    5. Pain Point 5

I will update this if I remember more. My list might sound harsh. I just wrote down my direct thoughts. I very much like ESO and I appreciate the work the Devs put into it.

    •Top 5 Bugs•

    1. Player character becomes stuck in the animation of falling or getting thrown after getting heavy attacked. Can move character, but no skills fire. Have to be thrown, hard cc'd, or killed to get out of it.

    2. Stuck in combat bug.

    3. Block failing even with left trigger held down.

    4. Error 307 after being kicked from server.

    5. Skill desync, lag, and frame rate drops. These make vet content and pvp frustrating and undoable in many cases, where every second matters.

    •Top 5 Pain Points•

    1. Housing slots are far too minimal for the size of the houses being released. This is BY FAR the largest hindrance to enjoyment of the game. Please give more slots.

    2. My Templar's biting jabs animation is the other largest turn off from the game for me. I despise it with my heart and soul.

    3. PvP and PvE are not separated in balancing nearly enough, which causes pain and annoyance to both sides.

    4. More character slots, please. Huge deal for me.

    5. Not enough creative choices in stories and art with the fantastic source material that is ESO's lore. I would love to see you all step out, be bold, and show how fantastical the Elder Scrolls world truly is. I would also love to see things of that nature cosmetically. Horns, wings, tails, cool hairstyles, and fun things like that.

    1) all the monetization systems feels scummy and makes me unable to recommend ESO to anyone as a game to play. loot crates, premium sub, cash shop, rotating cash shop to fake scarcity, more and more focus on houses and housing bundles to recoup dev costs on assets (all the while ruining the fun and surprise of a new zone buy literally having price tags on all the items and trying to sell the scenery to the player. new zones feel like a ren fair "oh you like that? why not buy it for 5.99?")

    2) content not made for me / no reward for my time. most good / cool sets, helms, motifs, colors, etc. are locked behind vet dungeons, boring arena grinds, and trials I have no interest nor any interest in EVER playing. that's not what got me into elder scrolls. i do not want to log in and sit in a room grinding ESO mobs with ESO combat for hours for a cosmetic shirt because you need to just grind out engagement time.
    NO
you don't respect me or my time, there are plenty of games out there that do. any failure on ESO's end is its own fault. why not make DLC Public Dungeons? you know content anyone can play through and enjoy? something a wee bit more in line with a traditional Elder Scrolls experience and not a copy paste 4 man for the top 1% to run and sell carries for like this is some Korean mmo.

    3) no attempt at PvP balance of any kind for oh a decade? failure to address basic problems and complaints for years, and only token attempts to recoup sunk costs and make do with what is there, all while asking the same if not more in money from your players for providing a substandard product. like were just expected to give you money for nothing in return and we are the unreasonable ones for expecting anything? in return. honestly this sounds like more ESO as a whole.

    4) continuous attempts of adding bespoke waste of time game features to (once again) recoup costs or just "make do" with what eso has that do nothing to enhance the core gameplay experience. Antiquities, Tales of Tribute, etc. clear additions made both because a dated engine cannot handle actual gameplay additions (remember harrowsotrms destroying performance, then oblivion gates took you to a separate instance, old engine) and to most likely recoup costs or something, was probably left over or stripped-down legends ideas / assets tossed into ESO to. . . recoup costs.

    5) the fact that ESO is most likely buried under the massive weight of Bethesda / Microsoft to the point where the team probably cannot create a new pet or make any changes without sending 15 copies of the idea through 15 departments for them to say "no the board says add a card game and make it profitable". . .
only being allowed to make the minimalist and most safe of content to ensure metrics, data, and profit. I do not feel anything is being done to make ESO a better game, for the players, or for the devs left working on it.

    no hope.
i will casually play ESO with my few friends who still play it, for what it was, and what it might have been, not for what it currently is.

    Pain Point 1:

We can’t access guild bank or guild store with the banker we spent 5,000 crowns on. This is strange..

    Pain Point 2:

We can’t repair gear with merchant we spent 5,000 crowns on. This is strange…

    Pain Point 3:

2025 and we still don’t have a change class token. Why? It would be a huge profit as it’s been highly requested for several years yet request ignored.

    Pain Point 4:

The armory has only 2 slots per character and cannot be accessed by other characters on account even with gear in bank. Why do we have to purchase more slots? It doesn’t seem like an entirely well thought out addition.

    Pain Point 5:

Can we please have motifs, recipes & plans not only curated but account wide? If not both, at least one or the other.

    Pain Point 6:

Can we get treasure maps & survey locations show on the map?

    Pain Point 7:

Can we please get treasure maps & cyrodiil siege like items to stack? Treasure maps can’t be stacked nor can we have more than one in bank or inventory. That doesn’t make sense. We can’t put treasure maps in guild banks either.

    Pain Point 8:

Writs do not tell us if we have learned the required style or not. Please do fix!

    Pain Point 9:

If we have multiple surveys & treasure maps (1 in bank, 1 in inventory), we have to run a good distance then back for respawn. Let’s eliminate that headache, please?

    Pain Point 10:

Cross-play & cross-save. If other games with online servers can do it, ESO can do it. If there’s a will, there’s always some sort of way but only if there’s a will. I would love to sometimes play on my Nintendo Switch instead of my PS5… but be able to access my Elder Scrolls Online account.

    Pain Point 11:

On in-game announcements, can we get notified when there are twitch drops before it occurs & the duration as well? This would really be awesome!

    Pain Point 12:

If possible, host events that reward crowns & crown gems. Or also maybe be able to convert in game items into such of our choice but make it a limited selection to work towards collecting to convert.

    Bug 1:

With a survey, sometimes you cannot collect no matter how many times you try without having to backup or move then try again.

i’ll add more at a later date if i forgot anything.

Please look into these! Thank you

    1. Entering sneak (pressing ctrl) while NB-cloaked sometimes makes you exit sneak. This happens a lot when I try to bring up the blade of woe prompt while unsneaked and cloaked.

    2. When I equip the "Azure Eyes" head marking there is a small texture glitch on the chin of my character: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/661921/azure-eyes-weird-goatee-glitch#latest

    Top pain points

    1. Guard being unkillable (instead of immersively respawning from somewhere).

    2. People starting the dungeon before a group member can accept the quest.

    3. Can't mount up, harvest and equip/remove poisons while in combat.

    4. Having to re-select a companion's costume/mount separately on every single character. Would be great if there was an option to have them set account-wide.

    5. Can't stack items in guild bank.

    Top Bugs/Issues

    1) This is a weird request, but it's actually a fixed bug that bothers me the most. In the past you could do fancy things with emotes by quick slotting the hide helmet feature while emoting, let's say a dance, and then pressing 'Z' to bring out your weapons. It made for some very interesting emotes, especially ones that often involve a weapon anyway. And that was "fixed" some time ago and I haven't been able to reproduce it since.
    2) Sometimes story quests get very bugged when grouped with someone doing the same quest. One of us will have to log out or leave the area or in worst case scenarios, restart the quest because the quest doesn't update properly for the other player
    3) Werewolf emotes stopped working ages ago for whatever reason. We had like six.
    4) The main issue I see in trials is skills not going off, bar swapping being slow, rubberbanding, disconnects, and high ping, especially during events. I know you guys have mentioned DDOS attacks so that's not a bug per se, but for a month or so the game was so bad at some points that raids were called off.
    5) Infinite Archive visions bug. I was in a duo run just the other day when my friend lost all of her visions. She traveled out to change her mundus, and when she came back, all of her visions showed 0% or none collected, and it wasn't just a visual bug. Her health was lower, her damage was way off. She had to completely restart. And we were already on Arc 5 or 6. We made it to 9 but were intending on going much further, but because she lost so much she couldn't keep up with the amount of damage she was taking. Game breaking bug there. I think if mundus stones and an armory were already present in IA, that could prevent some issues too

    Top Pain Points

    1) Housing slots. I know this has also been addressed in the past, but I think it prevents a lot of extremely creative builds and often makes creators section off parts of their home so that that the build doesn't look sparsely decorated. At the very least, point of entry spawn points could help prevent issues like this and also enable some interesting builds that may not rely on the house itself, but instead a different part of it (I have a home that I needed to be high up in the sky, and I wasted probably hundreds of slots on building an entirely too tall blocked in staircase).
    2) Furniture needs a craft bag slot. There's simply not enough room in my bank, main crafter, guild bank, and storage boxes for all the furniture I'd like to have available when I'm decorating. I'm always sacrificing things that *could* work in a build but I don't immediately need because there's simply not enough space for it
    3) Treasure maps not stacking and surveys having this minigame of run back and forth to get all the nodes. It would be such a time saver if the very first time you interacted with a survey node (let's say there was 5 of the same exact survey), rather than needing to run away, it generates randomly all of the materials you would have grabbed at once. Or at the very least, immediately respawns in front of you without needing the weird "did I run far enough away" minigame for the node to respawn.
    4) Cosmetics. Body markings and skins applying this ugly face patch. Tattoos often covering the entire body instead of more arm sleeve options. Or low-res cheap looking tattoos instead of tattoo diversity for arms, maybe something different on the back. The option to have more than one on different parts of the body. No hair dye (this would be hugee). And the slitted eye cosmetics often look horrible. Like the character is spazzed out. Would love a revisit to the slitted eye cosmetics because they have a potential to be so amazing.
    5) Crown store prices and lack of earnable rewards. Back in 2016 (when I started playing) before crown crates existed, crown store prices were WAY more reasonable. Mounts were always less than 1000. Costumes were extremely cheap, usually less than 500. I know this isn't something that devs can do anything about, but it's glaringly obvious how egregious the prices have become. New mounts are always priced at 3k and above. Costumes at 1500 and above. And I've also noticed that crown crates have considerably less goodies in them. Things that were worth 40 gems are now worth 100. And things worth 100 are now worth 400. I used to look forward to each new crown crate season, but nowadays every single season is disappointing. I'm not even exaggerating. There's less available, and what is decent is overpriced. Add that to a game that already is severely lacking in earnable rewards for quests, dungeons, trials, etc etc, and it creates a frustrated player base. There's like 4 horses you can buy with gold. I think each zone needs a purchaseable mount relative to the region. Senches in Elsweyr. Lizard critters in Murkmire. Etc. I have noticed an attempt at creating more earnable things, so for that I thank you guys for hearing us.

Appreciate you guys asking the community for our thoughts on this :)

    • Bug 3: Countless of unfixed dungeon mechanic bugs that prevent progress.
    • Bug 4: Much longer queue bug when support (tank or healer) queues with DPS in group.
    • Bug 5: Stuck in combat and join in progress bugs in dungeons.

    • Pain Point 1: Lack of transparency as far as game breaking bug fixes. No eta, no acknowledgement, no fixes after years and years.
    • Pain Point 2: Below optimal performance in dungeons/trials. Desync or disconnects etc.
    • Pain Point 3: Not being able to use seals of endeavors for more things like race change, name change tokens, etc.
    • Pain Point 4: Can't repair gear or access guild bank from 5000 crown assistants.
    • Pain Point 5: Coming to the reality that if the disconnects between dev and player base continues or players feel ignored, the game will get put on the shelf so to speak. Look at how many people left the game that dedicated hours and hours, made content for the game, just to be pushed out by devs or their decisions. Less than 500 viewers on average across streaming platforms, meanwhile other competitors have thousands of viewers. Come on devs! You got a loyal player base here that wants the game to succeed, this game has always had so much potential, lets bring some more life and creativity into the game. The longevity is about what customers want, not what you want, in focusing on what players want, you will get what you want and need. Money! Lets get some transparency in 2025 and some boots hitting the ground, really getting after upgrades that bring some life back into ESO.

I love this game. By far my favorite game with over 4k hours on PC alone. Lets get to fixing some of the blatant annoying bugs, increase performance etc, huh? We need some rapid rejuvenating of the server performance and optimization. Focus on bugs and server optimization/performance before new content. Looking forward to 2025.

    Bugs/Issues
    1. Voice chat breaks constantly, especially after loading into a new zone.
    2. Lag! It’s everywhere. Again Cyrodill is the biggest culprit, but I experience lag in BGs and cities as well. Also, I have the fastest internet available in San Francisco.
    3. Stuck in combat.

    Pain Points
    1. Grouping in PvP scales power too dramatically. Grouping should have diminishing returns instead of the current exponential power increase.
    2. More things should save to armory slots, with the top priority being different versions of scribed skills. But also including things like costumes and mounts.
    3. Finish hybridization, but don’t leave such a high percentage of skills that cost magicka, balance this with stamina.
    4. Damage and healing should be separate stats.
    5. No skills or sets should scale with health.

I don't have any consistent bugs to report, but here are the "pain points" I guess:

1 - Overland difficulty. Not sure if "pain point" is the right category really... but it's the one thing preventing me from really running any alts. I'm bored to tears questing in this game.

2 - Stackable treasure maps please! :) (runes as well, not to mention many other sub categories where identical items are non-stackable)

3 - Companions' heads being all identical. Apparently this was a conscious design decision, but I am so incredibly sick of seeing the exact same 37 Mirri clones a day who just happen to be wearing different shirts. We should be able to customize hair, jewellery, tattoos etc at least to some extent.

    5. Being kicked out of dungeons by the automated system after a PUG run. I only ever do PUGs because I can't solo the dungeon, and I want to explore the dungeons, talk to the NPCs and smell the flowers... but everyone else leaves and I am thrown into panic mode once the timer fires off. I understand why it's there but it ought to be 30 minutes or something at least, I HATE being rushed.

4 - Mount speed gets too fast. Nobody will agree with this one, but when I'm exploring a new zone I have to dismount so I can take it in. It would be nice to be able to customize this somehow, either with a UI toggle or perhaps a new crown store "travelling pony" mount or something which ignores speed upgrades. (This one is more of a request at this point and I'm 99.9% sure it will be ignored.)

    4. Group dungeon quest progression being blocked by "dungeon sprinters" (and then there's the lever pull quest issue in Volenfell). I don't feel "story mode" is the solution, rather redo quests so they can't be blocked and/or build in ways to discourage sprinters.
    5. Visual vomit on skills and fights has spiraled out of control over the last years

    Top pain points:
    1. Horrid progression in provisioning and - to a lesser extent - alchemy crafts
    2. Non-stackable treasure maps and non-tradable survey maps
    3. Armor hip flaps
    4. One-shot mechanics are used far too often do make bosses/events more "difficult"
    5. Related to above, invulnerable phases and stupidly large health pools do not make them more difficult either, just annoying and boring

Armor hip flaps for the win.

    Top bug:

The Murkmire achievement Surreptitiously Shadowed is still bugged. Promises to fix it have been ongoing for way too long. If you refuse to/cannot fix it, at least let Game Masters unlock the first one--the bugged one--so the rest can be completed. There is a furnishing locked behind this achievement. Rude. /cough. Sorry.

    Bug 2:
Bug 3: Zenithar's Abbey group event having a desync issue where you can seemingly instantly die due to damage that doesn't pop up. Always happens to me during the 30-40% health range for the boss

I have experienced this too. At the time, 3 of us were fighting this boss and all 3 of us insta-died at the same time--despite being on opposite sides of the room, and not grouped-- multiple times at this health range. If there's a one-shot mechanic, it's not visually proc-ing, it's not being shown in the combat log and everyone in the room just... dies. This appears to happen randomly, as in, the next day, it didn't. The day after I was helping another group, and it did.

Many of my pain points have already been mentioned but I'm going to say this because it has been bugging me for years.

    1. Furnishings are limited, and can't be changed for whatever reason. Okay. So. Make fruit trees that have been in the game since Craglorn available for furnishers so we're not using more than one slot to make them. This applies to all such things: vines--we finally get them and they look dead. [Also, musical instruments and unsaddled mounts already in the game. I'd kill for either of these]. So. That said, a rest of list....
    2. Going to add to the "stackable treasure map" howl
    3. Simple things that have multiple RNG points, unnecessarily. Example: collecting certain styles. First, you have to hope a treasure map drops/is for sale (ie, drops for someone). Then you have to hope that treasure map is of a region you need a style page from. Then you have to hope the treasure chest has a) a lead, and b) a lead that you don't already have. That's way too many RNG points for a single Ancestral Breton waist style page, godsdammit. Please remove one. Curation, perhaps, at the final point at least. Then once someone has all of a style page group in their archaeology book, it can go back to random to offer for sales for people who hate the antiquities system. /cheesy grin [NB I'm not talking a rare thingy with a single low RNG. That's fine. Annoying if Aren Gee is not on your side, but it does help the dopamine when he decides not to be a ... hrm. The multiples? No dopamine to be had there, even when it works, just annoyance].
    4. Directing companions. Some older dungeons that are otherwise soloable but for the need to have 2 people to stand on a pressure pad. Look, I get it; it's an MMO but "lots of people" =/= "pressure to socialise" it just means "lots of people play this at once and therefore you can socialise/group in real time". [I will die on this hill]. Also, companions still like to stand in stuff. While, y'know, yelling at you to avoid it [that might be one for the bug list?]. Also, the ridiculous comments like "some blah blah for your pack" as you pick a flower. Like, dude; I've played FO4, I get that companion interactions are not a Bethesda/Zos strength but it's not 2011 any more; it's not necessary for companions to constantly state the obvious. Be more creative. :)
    5. Switching to 14 day AH time was a disaster for everyone. Yes, items are cheaper; that's not the issue. The issue is that guilds are making less money, but the competition for sales spots have not lessened at the same rate. Two long-term (since launch!) guilds I was a member of have folded since the change, because their GMs had to use up all of their personal gold to keep the slots. Unintentional effect: people are using RL money to buy crowns to sell for gold, and the rate has skyrocketed, and gold bots are flourishing. There's a fine line between cooling an economy and making it so bots start to outnumber your players, and this wasn't it. Also, with so many things that used to be 1000+ dropping below that, removing the "no guild cut" from items below 1000 needs to be a Thing, especially for newer guilds. It feels like nickel-and-diming, but still.
    6. Going to add a +1 for @wose 's 4 & 5. Okay occasionally, but that invulnerability mechanic doesn't make things "interesting". It didn't in WoW, it doesn't in ESO.

I've raised 5 teenaged boys and a girl to adulthood, so my tolerance for nonsensical crap is fairly high, but for wasting (as opposed to using) my time dangerously low. Truthfully, very few things in this game actively annoy me, which is a wonder in the world of MMOs (I'm talking gameplay, not business practices, but at least you're not EA Games. Yet). But the ones that do (above), really do.

    2. Templar tanks offer no support utility that Templar healers can't offer

Wish list - 1. Story Mode Dungeons and updated, solo dungeons with the same gear available in the group Dungeons as well as quests so that solo players are not forced into situations and missing out on all the fun and experience of completing them. 2. PvE version of Cyrodill, we've been asking this for several years, so surprise us and prove the ESO "community managers" and "Rich" are listening to ALL the players (PvE and PvP) and not just a select few individuals of your choosing. Not all of us PvP nor want to experience it. We just want to enjoy the whole game without it. 3. Stackable treasure maps and move other things like fragments and scrolls, healing potions to the resource bag instead. 4. Cutback on the snide remarks and judgment from the Companions, so I killed a bug/butterfly whatever or did something else like assassinate an NPC, or they "discovered" I am a Vampire. Suck it up Buttercup, get over it. 5. Companions should adapt to the character I am playing and how. Kills the immersion in game. 6. Did I mention, prove the ESO "community managers" and "Rich" are listening to ALL the players (PvE and PvP) and not just a select few individuals of your choosing. I play ESO to suspend reality. Yep, I am a solo player. My two cents, none the richer. Thanks

I can't think of any bugs that haven't already been addressed ad nauseum by others (combat bug, light attack bug, dungeon queue bug, break free not firing off, etc).

I know a lot of people consider the constant "grim focus" glow to be a bug but personally, I love it!! It gives my nightblade characters a really cool aesthetic look, and it helps my main (who's decked out in the dro-m'athra skin) still somewhat match my red (and only) radiant apex mount. Best of both would probably be to make it a toggle?

I do have a few Pain Points.
edit: I promise I can count, I saw this post shortly after it was posted and somehow between that and commenting I seem to have skipped over the "top 5" part. So apologies for the lengthy list.

    1. No Cyrodiil/Imperial City "peaceful" mode. There's PVE & exploration objectives and achievements tied to a PVP zone. It can be almost impossible to achieve those if you're not geared & good at PVP, or incredibly lucky. There's players camping quest turn-in points, skyshards, fishing holes, delves, dolmens. It'd be amazing to have an option where you can't hit or be hit by other players or contribute towards the PVP side at all by capturing keeps or flags, just to be able to finally turn in quests without being mowed down before you can even get through the dialogue. Having to leg it across the entire zone because your alliance doesn't control anything near where you need to go is painful enough without having to start the process again and again after dying. Getting skyshards and completing PVE quests should not rely so much on other players' mercy (which, since they usually get something out of your death, most of them aren't going to show any).

    2. Fishing is incredibly tedious. I cannot tell you how much curated fish during this past event has helped with my absolute hatred of fishing. I've played since 2020, and took part in weekly guild fishing events armed with CP slottables and fishing food, and only during this event was I able to achieve the Master Fisher achievement, not including most of the DLC zones. I don't have enough fingers on both hands to list every guild member who had a similar experience, or who complained about zones taking weeks, months or even years to fish without getting that one particular fish for the achievement. I think the curation was wonderful, it made fishing enjoyable because I felt like I was actually getting somewhere. It also helped the old zones feel alive again, as people had more incentive to visit them. Doing that again, maybe with a curated fishing day or weekend every once in a while, I think would be wonderful and actually make those achievements feel worth doing.

    3. Lack of long-form story content. And I don't mean just making quests longer by increasing the legwork, as it seems to be with necrom & gold road. Whole expansions can be completed in a day, and with a long gap in-between each patch. A lot of players aren't completionists who are gonna grind out every achievement, a lot of players don't have a lot of alts to fill the time between patches re-doing content. So they log in, they complete the new content, maybe the "do 30 dailies" achievements, and when they're done, what do they do? They go to play other games. Increasing the amount or frequency of these story expansions, maybe staggering it out over a period of time instead of dumping it all at once for people to complete & leave, may help the playerbase feel less transient. There needs to be more to do to keep people engaged that doesn't just involve progging dungeons or trials.

    4. Lack of incentive to visit older overland content, or to do content "past their prime". Older zones, even chapter zones, feel kind of dead after the initial hype of their release. To do a lot of achievements that may be difficult to solo (dlc world bosses, etc), you have to wait for an event and hope other people are also doing that content when you are. I'd love to see more quests that revisit older areas, give people a reason to go back and make it all feel alive again (like I mentioned with the fishing!). Someone else mentioned daily quests in base game zones and I honestly think that'd be fun.

    5. Lack of earnable/dropable mounts. This has been one of my biggest issues since I started playing, and I do see improvement - I saw the achievements for Gold Road & Necrom earnable mounts and I think that's definitely a step in the right direction. It sucks to have most mounts only available through the crown shop, or only earnable through trifecta trial achievements. There needs to be more mounts easily accessible to players. To tie to back to my previous points about incentive to do previous content (and I think I suggested this during a twitch stream, but who knows if anyone actually saw that lol), maybe have runeboxes for mounts that drop off of certain dungeon/trial/public dungeon/world bosses? Like the Asylum Sanctorium polymorph. Bonus points if it's themed around the boss or content it drops from. I personally don't care if the drop rate is low n it's a little grindy, as is the nature of MMOs. I don't care if theyre bound or trade-locked to other people in the instance like pieces of gear. But it'd be something achievable, and give players something to work towards. It'd also help mounts mean something more than "I had money to spend". I think it'd also be cool to have more basic mounts available at stablemasters, like in the EP zones they could sell really basic guar. Maybe add one or two new "basic" mounts to stablemasters in each expansion, themed to the zone. They don't have to be fancy, just something more immersive and exciting than the basic horses most people already got early on. If you want them to be more special, maybe make them cost more gold.

    6. Treasure maps and runeboxes don't stack. Already been addressed at length by others.

    7. Dungeon/trial story modes. Again, already been addressed by others. I like lore and I like questing and I like story and most people aren't gonna wait around for dialogue to happen. I want to see how the dungeon dlc quests lead into their respective following expansions, and I can't do that when I'm rushing to keep up with players who just want their RND rewards or a quick pledge clear.

    8. Lack of tutorial or explanation for players for actual content. The game relies too much on outside community resources to answer questions or teach people how to play the game. Little loading screen suggestions that players may or may not actually see isn't enough.

    9. There's not a lot of story variation. Yeah, I'm talking about the constant daedric threats. I loved the story in High Isle, focusing on the threat of politics and expanding the greater world in relation to the core conflict (the 3 banners war). Then we went right back to daedric princes. I don't know what kind of story is planned next, but I want to see more dangers than daedric cults, I want to explore other stories.

    1. You companions always get in the way of you trying to do things like pick up nodes or talk to other NPCs or view your bank.

    Pain Points

    1. SPLIT PVE AND PVP SKILLS!!!!!!!!! Seriously. Please, I beg you, split them. Some people may be confused by what I mean, and so I will give an example. In PvE, one particular skill might do xxx damage, give yyy buffs to groupmates, and heal for zzzz amount. But in PvP zones that exact same skill changes. Instead, it does zzzz damage and gives ccc shielding to groupmates. You already did this with a Vampire skill and, as a result, have not had to change that skill since then that I can recall. The best reason for splitting them is so that when you make adjustments to the PvP side of the skill it does NOT affect the PvE side of the skill and vice versa. This will lead to much better balance all-around, absolutely happier players, much fewer arguments pitting PvE and PvP players against one another when it comes to skills, and the correction of some seriously bad things done to skills because they had to be adjusted for use in both PvP and PvE.

    2. Mundane Rune Shortage and Heartwood Shortage. Please, add these two hard-to-get resources to Survey maps. I am begging you, please add them to Survey maps.

    3. The excessive use of Mundane runes or Heartwood in furniture recipes, and especially when it makes no sense for the recipe to even need the item in the first place -- such as a piece of stone that should have zero wood in it requiring a great deal of Heartwood. Also, there are tons of recipes requiring these valuable resources in extreme quantities. For example, a door generally costs nine Heartwood or so.... so why is there a tiny item in the game that costs 13 heartwood to make? Yes, this is something I have noticed in the game and it is maddening and frustrating at the same time.

    4. Furniture crafting UI needs a massive overhaul. Without an add-on I rarely know on what furniture station I need to craft something, nor what category or sub-category it sits within. I see tables in blacksmithing and woodworking and enchanting all. Beds sitting in woodworking and clothing. Chairs in blacksmithing and woodworking. Structural pillars sitting in enchanting conservatory categories and blacksmithing structural categories. Nothing seems to be uniform.

    5. We need a furniture bag. Desperately.

Edit: Shortened the list to five per instructions and added a bug I forgot about.

    RANDOM NOTE (PLEASE READ)
Long ago, I noticed the large ship in Evermore, Bangkoria had no real way of leaving the zone because the large bridge would block its sails. I mentioned this in a forum post many years ago, and to my surprise, many months later, ZOS actually added visuals to the large bridge, changing it into a large drawbridge instead so large ships could come and go. I thought this was very cool that ZOS fixed that. They must have also agreed that it looked out of place and should be addressed. Perhaps random things like this should be considered when making your list.

    WORLD MAP NOTE
Just wanted to make a note about the world map. The game has been out for over a decade, and this is the first time I’m hearing about the world map being too confusing for players. I’ve been around since beta, and I’ve seen the map grow and I’ve personally stayed comfortable with it all this time. However, I do see how brand-new players might see it as overwhelming. ZOS, just please don’t change the world map too much to where old school players like me will regret the change and miss the old map. I’m sure I speak for many older players when I say we have all grown accustomed to it and would be disappointed to see a drastic change to it.

    My Top Bugs/Issues
    1. Bug 1 – FIX COLLISION FOR FURNISHINGS INSIDE OF HOMES
I build mazes in my homes. I’m tired of players knocking themselves through my furnishings by using skills or other methods. Please ZOS, 1,000% fix this!

    2. Bug 2 – COMBAT BUG IN PVP
This should be my #1, but you said not to mention it, but I must. This is by far the most annoying bug in game for me at the moment and has been for some time. This is long overdue.

    3. Bug 3 – NIGHTBLADE SKILL & LIGHT ATK WEAVING
Feels clunky and buggy for sometime now. Using skills like Swallow Soul then light attack feels “off” and doesn’t feel as smooth as it once did.

    4. Bug 4 – HOUSING FURNISHING WINDOW’S LIGHTING
I believe furnishing windows that have a light that shine down only shine depending on the weather, not if its “night or day.” This is can be annoying when setting up windows and not being able to see the light shine. If this is actually a bug and just randomly shows up, it should be fixed.

    5. Bug 5 - FIX ARMOR SET: SEVENTH LEGION
Tired of this armor set not proc’ing off of Blessing of Protection and its morphs. This makes no sense at all and has to be a bug.

    My Top Pain Points
    1. Pain Point 1 – NOT ENOUGH FURNISHING SLOTS IN HOMES
Hot topic I know. But this is absolutely a pain point for me and many others.

    2. Pain Point 2 – COMPANIONS
Getting them on every alt is just another hefty chore, considering we have to do the same for Skyshards, Lorebooks, Psjiic Skill Line, Undaunted Skill Line, etc.

    3. Pain Point 3 – HAVING TO RESET GOLD WHEN LISTING AN ITEM & COPY/PASTE
When I type in an amount of gold when selling an item in a guild store and I decide to make an edit to it, it erases the entire amount, and I have to start back from zero. This gets annoying when I’m selling many items. Also, allow us to copy and paste an amount into the box because it doesn’t allow us to.

    4. Pain Point 4 – GUILD TABARD OPTIONS
Tired of designing a unique guild tabard only to look around the corner and see another guild with the exact same design. We need more guild tabard customization options, this is long overdue

    5. Pain Point 5 – COLOR DYES NOT CONSISTENT
This robe turns red, this cuirass turns pink. I know it’s cloth vs metallic but come on lol. Red should be red, blue should be blue, etc. Dye colors should be consistent.

    Top Bugs/Issues
Questing in groups is sometimes broken, especially where an item needs to be picked up.
For accessibility purposes, there should be an option to toggle sprint on/off without having to hold down a button, where it will sprint until you run out of stamina or tap the button again.

    Top Pain Points
Furniture inventory management to the point that I'm planning on quitting the game. Every week we get at least one new luxury furnishing item, each new zone we get tonnes of new bound furnishing items through antiquities, and we haven't gotten a bag upgrade since 2018 when we got the storage chests with update 17. I don't even enjoy decorating houses anymore because I spend so much time grabbing stuff from storage houses and trying to sell stuff on the guild traders when I craft something that doesn't work.
Furniture crafting is so onerous now. There are thousands of plans, and I usually have to visit several stations to look at the options for beds or chairs that I can craft. Having a search function, and one massive furnishing crafting station, would go a long way to fixing this.
Cross account favourites for collections, but there's a cap on how many you can favourite makes it less than useful. I want to favourite things per character. I'd also like to favourite style pages.
Too many multi-piece antiquities, especially when they require group content, or have low RNG. It just feels disrespectful of player's time.
I like the guild trader system, but it is so incredibly slow to load, especially if I'm searching for several different items in different categories at different traders.

    Soul Shriven
    My two pennies:

Bug 1: Stuck in combat (particularly in Cyro). I think this is #1 pet peeve of all who play in Cyro
Bug 2: Skills/abilities not firing (even though skill bar clearly shows skill button pressed)
Bug 3: Lag and rubber banding (particularly in Cyro and trials) even with low ping (below 90)
Bug 4: Status effects that seem to randomly permanently stick to character (such as burning, slowed, ect), causing the need to do a "Cheesemonger cleanse" every so often while in Cyro

Pain Point 1: Pop caps in Cyro too low. Nearly impossible to have more than one major siege/battle going on at any one time
Pain Point 2: Too much lag in Cyro, especially during big near-keep battles (again, even with low ping on my end)
Pain Point 3: Treasure maps not stacking (creates management headache: not fun)
Pain Point 4: Housing item limit too low (all houses, except inns, need 100 slot bump; inns could due with 25 slot bump)
Pain Point 5: Housing items/furnishings need to be able to be broken down into base components; this would benefit server storage issues and player storage issues as well (too many full banks and "warehouses" due to not wanting to throw away something that might be useful in the future)
Pain Point 6: Furnishings crafting is a mess; I can never find what I am looking for, amongst 7 different crafting tables and poorly categorized lists (that don't match the housing UI lists). Would be best to have ONE furnishings crafting table and/or better categorized lists at the crafting table(s), optimally, matching the categories in the housing UI.
