I like in a major city, that is Salt Lake City and the Gamestop's and Walmart's here do not have ESO time cards because it would seem that there are no ESO time cards available to be purchased.Geneticspore wrote: »I'm honestly thinking the same thing honestly. Still have yet to hear back from either email, or phone support. Called bank to see where my card is and it's "being processed" which means another week or 2 before I get it in hand. And sadly living in BFE (or Tinytown USA) I'm 60mi away from the closest Walmart, and 190mi away from the nearest Gamestop...gorathffeb17_ESO wrote: »

In my opinion, if you can TAKE money on the weekend, you should be able to RETURN it on the weekend too. But I guess that is too consumer friendly for most corporations, got to get those free short-term loans right?
That isn't how banks work. You can shop and buy all weekend long with your bank card, but can you go to the bank and talk to someone there? Deposit money that is available immediately? No, or at least I can't. I don't agree with charging a full month's subscription just to validate a person's payment info, but there should be no reason to get upset at ZOS for something they cannot control.
My bank actually does let me deposit and immediately withdraw at an atm (up to $1000 per week). And I can also call my banks customer support over the weekend, which I have not been able to do with Zenimax.
I suppose its my own fault for expecting a similar level of service from an american company vs a canadian one though.

they are trying to keep gold sellers/spammers down

Being funds checked, that's understandable but not overly normal, but they are trying to keep gold sellers/spammers down. It's an inconvenience for us, and for some it's really been unfair hardship on launch weekend, but I am happy they care about that integrity of the game to proactively do something about it.
I have seen no post by Zenimax detailing this as a method of prevention against gold spammers. Can you please post a link? If this is true, it will change my opinion greatly - in a positive direction, regarding the business practices of Zenimax.
