Bank Account Being Charged?

    Folks.. they made it clear on the account page and from what I'm reading here, on the box as well. I'm not understanding how.. if one is on a limited income, as I am, you didn't budget ahead of time for this.
    What was clear on the page when I entered my credit card information was that I would be charged May 6th, not last night.

    I don't have a problem paying for the subscription when the subscription is due, but I signed up for four six-month subscriptions for my household and was billed for all four thirty days early.

    That is an *** move on ZOS' part, and that is why I'm angry. Not because I had to enter my information now, but because I was charged the full price a full month early.

    My issue is that I'm on an extremely limited income and this was my last $15 for a while, which had to go to more important things but now can't because Zenimax doesn't know how to do business.

    So wait...people are being charged for the surcharge...plus the next month? Well I'm glad I didn't register my code when I did....You're billing department needs to learn how to be a billing department.

    FYI guys, the support number is 1-855-296-3170, at least in NA. Just got it from my bank when they were investigating filing a chargeback. Suggested I try giving it a call, and if they don't do anything, my bank is going to reverse the charge (which they again confirmed was NOT a hold, and was in fact a permanent charge).

    I used paypal for my sub so it was authorized as a payment but then promptly cancelled by Zenimax.

    So I like how they had an actual admin response to the same issue on the french forum multiple times, and we get nothing but silence.

    Yes that is the support number, but I clocked in a hold time of exactly 2 hours and 12 minutes before either the line got disconnected or they hung up on me. I left the phone on speaker while I was at my desk.

    This is sad, how can you force this onto people, everyone woudl have payed the amount needed. Very bad way to handle a customer hope you learn from this. ps: I CANT PLAY THX FOR THAT %$!

    I rarely play subscription games , but for this one i would have made an exception but as things are going i'll probably not ...
    Back to some other games hope they will fix that but probably not playing after the initial 30 days

    MMO's have been doing that for years knowing full well some people will stop playing an forget to unsubscribe. It is not to stop gold spammers (Login now and chances are you have in-game mail from gold spammers) it is not to insure you have a valid CC (They already have that info from people who pre-ordered and they still have to sub to access the game.)

    It is pure greed and ZOS is not alone in that respect.

    I've logged a support ticket with ZOS support and they have supplied me with a code allowing me to activate the game.

    I stated in my support ticket that I had no credit card, no Paypal ID and could not obtain a time card.

    It has taken some time, however so when you do this please be patient!

    Ah, well, my bank said if that kind of thing happened, to just give them a call back and they would do the chargeback immediately for me, so either way, I'm getting my money back.

    how long did it take for you to get an answer, for me I got a mail on saturday saying they have forward my issue to the right persons and they contact me once the time has been put on to my account, but I have not heard anything yet.

    Did you also get a "one day game time code" which would reportedly allow you to play for 30 days?

    I'll add my voice to the rage. Guys, what on Earth is going on? I've been told multiple times first month is free. However, I couldn't play that FREE month without choosing a subscription method. Which is imo silly because - a)enough money NOW doesn't mean I'll have it in a month 2)I have my holy right tot to quit it for good after free month. I realize most people won't, but we do have that right, don't we? I signed up for BUYING the game, not PLAYING it for TWO months at least.
    Then I've been told I'm totally NOT going to be charged until the end of the month. First of all, I don't have a card, so I had to pay through WebMoney. I entered my wallet information only to find out if I want to play FREE month, I need to either get a card(specially for you guys) or PAY. To play FREE month. I ended up asking a friend for his card, assuring him it wouldn't be charged because, well, *I* have been assured of that. So now my friend's card is charged, I'm in a rather uncomfortable situation and my account happily assures me I have 28 days remaining and will be charged on 6th of May, after my FREE month ends. So, question. WHERE DID THAT MONEY VANISH?
    Also, do something for an online customer support already. THIS is not a minor issue. This is about REAL money, money we never agreed to give you as of yet. And we want it back. Or at least a good, very, VERY convincing reason as for why not. Seriously, people. I love the game, it has way too many bugs it's over all great. Beautiful, fun, interesting, everything. But THIS is discouraging beyond words.

    Well this is fancy, so I only got 28 days left, they charged my Visa for 13 bucks instantly when I linked it to my account and there's no sign of them fixing the issue, and I'm missing 30 days worth of my gametime according my account page?! AND ON TOP OF THAT STOP SAYING 'PAYED' IT'S NOT A *** REAL WORD YOU ***!

    There, glad I got that out of the way.
