They did no work for ithave fun grinding 800+ CP Everytime you want a new toon
This right here
Everyone who says we want handouts is missing the point. I guess they want everyone to be miserable.
We want quality of life changes, changes that can be a simple toggle and will not affect any other player in any way, shape or form.
Exactly, we need to add consumeables, and traits in for account wide as well

This is not needed at all. You only need 1 person who can craft it is as simple as switching to your crafter. Skyshards are very different then having what you said be account bound imo.

Now instead of playing with our 3 friends, 2 of us are bored chasing skyshards and the other 2 are bored waiting for us to catch up. 4 friends not playing together now asking themselves why are they playing this MMORPG if they cant play together for the next x hours?
If you are against account bound skyshards toggle, you are selfish. Toggle off/on.
It affects you in no way, shape or form.
All four of you can create a tank and a healer. Then you rotate roles doing the random daily and maybe a couple of other dungeons. If each player does a tank and a healer the group will get eight random dailies in. Sneak in a few dolmen runs and with the double XP event about to hit you will be at 50 in no time.
You also get the benefit when you want to run a pledge you can run them on four different characters assuming each has two DPS characters and why not level up another DPS while leveling your healers and tanks as a group. That means four times the undaunted keys daily and no need to pug anything. Also no need to pug when farming gear and your group can switch out roles so running the same thing again and again for that last dagger won't feel quite so tedious.
Take full advantage of the double XP happening and you and your three friends can all have another DPS a healer and a tank for each of you. If you all start the new characters together you will be able to play together as you level them.
and every new character will be without the skyshards, forced to "explore" again. Good Job reinforcing my point.
And for the argument *the game was not designed for account bound skyshards*
The game was not designed for CP, not designed for Jewelry crafting and players having 3 complete set bonuses, not designed for proc sets, not designed for max stat builds (launch had softcaps). Yet here we are

Was your point repeating content is good for the long term health of the game? If not then no I didn't reinforce your point.
The game didn't have housing either. If we were playing the "one of these isn't like the others" game then Champion Points would be it. Champion Points replaced vet levels. With vet levels our armor would be obsolete every time the level goes up. Knowing your armor will not be the highest level in a relatively short period of time tends to make people not want to grind for gear.
Some of the other things you mentioned were put in place to fix what ZoS felt was design flaws in the game. Max stat vs soft caps really doesn't have much impact on what content you play. Skyshards being account wide or player bound has a direct affect on repeating content. Players repeating content is a big part of what keeps an MMO going for more than a year or two. If there was no reason to repeat content most the players here since launch would have left long ago.
And again there is nothing keeping you and your three friends from playing together now. You can all create new characters and level them together. You can even help each other with getting skyshards. One from your group could hop on a character that has discovered all the wayshrines and let the other three (or could be just one other) port to him to get all the wayshrines. Then the four of you all group together and grab skyshards as you hop from wayshrine to wayshrine. Doing overland content can be rough on a healer or tank. If you did it as a group though you could have fun and get through it fairly easy while all of you level new characters.
The short of it is if everything you want to be account bound was account bound then the game would fade away much much quicker. It simply wouldn't be good for the game.

It wouldn't be good for the game you say? These guys going from 1-50 then making them automatically 810cp. Okay please listen to me out.
I have been told over and over and over again 64 skill points is enough to do everything you need to "play the game". So according to everyone that said that in a few hours they switch to the new "meta" class ruining the game experience and killing it.
So if that is the case then why is getting skill points a bad thing? Lol they can already make the new cheese class without investing but a few hours into the game. Plus they can send all gold gear to them too which makes it even worse
Skyshards don't break the game if they were shared. Not in the slightest. If people admit on this forum they run the base skill points from leveling up and can be competitive skyshards don't ruin the game at all
So please really elaborate to me in full detail how skyshards are that op?
