Counter to bleed builds?

Im looking for a counter build to all these bleed builds out there, any suggestions?

More then once i get 20k bleed dmg on my death recap, if im lucky its not a
ww bleed/zaan/stamsorc dot on top of that lol

MagPlar.

ZoS doesn't need to un-nerf MagPlar (not saying they shouldn't un-nerf), they just need to wait for the bleed meta to catch on so more and more people play their direct counter. Voila, MagPlar is PvP meta again!

Slot things that give increased healing and make a potion of lingering health as it'll negate bleed entirely with it's vitality bonus and health per second.
I use those to counter NBs incap gank and bleed builds.

Being sDK with trollking and vitality pots is helpful as well

Purge if you have it.

Otherwise boost up your healing as much as possible.

Additionally, Bleed Builds really need the initiative in a fight. Reverb and hit them something of your own, and the bleeds will drop off pretty quick.

If your stam then rally and vigor should out heal it and you could also use vitality pots. Always keep your heals active and then cc them and start applying pressure.

I use 2H vigor & Forward Momentum. Keep refreshing this as youre about to die for the burst heal.

Don't Bleed Builds use a Spamable skill to apply Bleed? How would Purge help over the long run?
A well made build could eat 20+k in seconds while spamming Rending Slashes - Decent Damage, 50% snare, Bleed on hit.
A few Self-Buffs, a few Skills to debuff or stun, throw on a Cost Poison for extra Evil - Purge and Heal simply won't be enough to counter.

I would suggest pre-draining your own blood. Hard to Bleed someone out if they don't have Blood, right? ...Although, it still works on Storm Atronachs, so...

Oddly enough, it's also not that hard to get decent Bleed output on a Mag character, either. Hmmm...

You mention that you´re a warden (stamina I assume). In your case I would look over:

* Champion points: How many points you´ve into thick-skinned. If playing no-CP then ignore this one.
* Ice-Fortress: Minor Protection will reduce the damage from bleed ticks.
* Living Trellis: Acts as a Heal over time to counter the severity of the bleed ticks.
* Green Lotus: Can proc major mending and if you can time it you can gain quite the amount of burst heals with soothing spores.
* Since you´re using forward momentum for major brutality + snare removal, you can actually use the Betty Netch morph as a purge. Doesn´t cost anything to use, removes 1 negative effect (not much but still) and heals you when used.
* Secluded Grove: Not always up but still a cheap ultimate.
* Lingering Health pots, Troll King. Troll King isn´t unusual to see on stamina wardens so hopefully your build isn´t gimped too much.

That sir is not possible.

No its a ulti build, ww + 7th , my hp goes back and forth on same spot through my heal ulti , this is against stam sorcs however

I use all these except for Living trellis, and those pots, i have 37 in blessed and 56 in Thick skinned

Healing? Like, any kind of healing?

You counter bleed damage like you would counter ANY OTHER DOT damage. There is nothing special about bleeds, except they ignore resistances. So the more resistance you have, the more annoying and "hardhitting" they will be.

So how do you counter MagDK ? How do you counter any kind of damage in the game?

In this case, you cannot counter by Blocking or Mitigating with Resistances. So you can either;

Shield it (Damage Shield that is)
Purge it
Heal it

There is nothing special about bleeds at all. It is just a DoT like everything else.

You are right, its not the bleed itself thats the problem, its the stacking

No its the stacking, when u get blood craze bleed/ww bleed + other dots

Magplar isn't a good counter either, sadly. You have to spam cleanse to clean bleeds. They'll just reapply nearly instantly. Spamming cleanse is a good way to die. You'll need heals if you're being attacked by a WW or something, and they'll most likely be using defile anyway.
