Elsweyr VS Black Marsh

I chose this topic because we had not seen a beast race zone yet so far in the game. In all eyes of the beholder the COMMUNITY only one can be chosen. Please feel free to put down your thoughts and ideas?

Here's my thought are they the underdogs to be the hope to save Tamriel in the future?

Do you really want an entire expansion of swamps? Elsweyr is a far more varied landscape

Shadowfen map gives us Stormhold and areas South of Stormhold
but Reaper's March only gives us West of Dune which is in Valenwood
so we have had some of Black Marsh but only a city of Elsweyr
(the borders in ESO may be slightly different from the time period of the map tho)

It depends on whether ZOS still has Murkmire assets or if they used most of those for Shadows of the Hist and DB. If they have significant stuff left over, I'd expect Murkmire. If they don't, I'd expect Elsweyr.

I want to degrade a sentient khajiit who happens to be born as a large, quadruped by riding him/her as a mount. On the other hand we will have great conversations together when out and about.

Elsweyr... but it might be the setting of TES VI.

I expect black marsh to be next years chapter though. Unfortunately DC has a small land mass and most of it is already explored.

Unless its like more of Hammerfel like we are constantly referring to but never visiting in Hew's Bane. The Alikir we visited was Forebear controlled zones while there is a lot more of the desert that is under Crown control.

You do realize even though "Marsh" is in the name it doesn't mean the entire thing is a Marsh.

Both in 1 big expansion. No way Black Marsh can sell on its own unless they completely rework the aesthetics of the area similar to how they did to Vvardenfell - but at a bigger scale.

They are truly the only race who aren't Man or Mer. We have to watch them carefully.

Going to go with Elsweyr, but I wouldn't mind Black Marsh (poor Murkmire has been waiting on the back burner LITERALLY for years) I just don't know enough about it to get excited.

Elsweyr. I am a both "Lizard" and a "cat" lover and I do love deserts and swamps equally, both I must go with Land of the Khajit ,why is that the case?

I find their culture and race more mystical and alluring, in particular their architecture style. By Cat's Tail! Khenarthi's Roost captured my heart Perhaps I know so little about Khajit in general and the fact we have only little Western chuck of land with notable city of Dune.

Again to state a very though choice, both races are unique and versatile, I suppose they differ a lot from Elves, men and other races. They are rather bestia, Superstitious, secretive which makes them even more intriguing and fascinating!

Elsweyr is now a perfect candidate for next expansion chapter! Give us the entire continent , Cats deserve the love at last!

I love Black Marsh and I really want to play there. That being said I'd be happy with either expansion. I'd be happy with Solstheim. There's lots of neat places I'd like to go in Tamriel yet (possibly akavir too).

I always wanted Alinor (Summerset Isle), Elsweyr and Black Marsh in ESO. My first wish is coming true, the third may not, but we still might get Murkmire (as DLC, not a chapter).

If they decide to go DC again (counting Orsinium as a proto-chapter), we might get Hammerfell.

It's not that Blackmarsh is "just swamps". For the same reason Skyrim wasn't "just snow" like a lot of detractors said leading up to its announcement. Blackmarsh has the potential to be as unique and alien as Morrowind in its environmental design. ZOS have simply proven themselves incapable of doing "unique and alien" and can only manage generic fantasy visuals and design. Therefore, Elsweyr is a much safer bet, since their engine and design team aren't going to struggle with those environments.

If I was a developer I would rather pick another road and release the region which is nearly untouched. We already have three zones within Hammerfell , No? Or four, I am still a newbie.

This was the option I had wanted to select, but "Other" didn't fit.

Both would be nice, so I put my order of release as my choice, being Elseweyr followed by Black Marsh.

I've been dying to see the kingdom of Khajiits since playing Oblivion.

I DO agree with you, that's why I voted Elsweyr and wrote "If they decide to go DC again (counting Orsinium as a proto-chapter), we might get Hammerfell"

We got multiple zones in Hammerfell already, also various motifs inspired on Redguard culture. But the least wanted place I want for a chapter will always be Skyrim. TES V, the most recent game in the main series, is already in it. Bethesda also keeps re-releasing the game almost yearly. ESO has two zones in it already, plus dungeon DLCs Skyrim-ish themed.
