Would like to see both as beastraces interest me a lot. Though Elsweyr has always intrigued me! Summerset was my number 1 wish to see and we got that, so I'm feeling hopeful that I will be seeing my number 2 wish of Elsweyr. ♥

Do you really want an entire expansion of swamps? Elsweyr is a far more varied landscape
I highly suggest to read some lore about Black Marsh. Swamps are only in some external parts of Black Marsh - and they serve as a natural "cover" & protection. Besides - look at some concept arts for Murkmire:
    640?cb=20150519021652
    640?cb=20150519021651
Does it really look like a swamp ? More like a grassy plateau or valley. So I am pretty sure that Murkmire will not be all swamps. Just like Wrothgar is not all 100% Snowy mountains (map):
    wrothgar_skyshards.jpg
But we already have some concept art for map:
    350?cb=20151025041827
As you can see the "swamp" areas will be only this bottom part that is maybe like 25 - 35 % of the map.
This is how (most likely) this bottom "swamp" part might look like:
    640?cb=20150519021652
So even though it will be a swamp it will be much better designed than what we can see in Shadowfen. Making assumption based on what we can see in game that new content will be "the same" is just wrong.

As for the Elsweyr - I wait for that content too. After Murkmire DLC we will have either a DC zone or AD zone. I am counting for this to be Elsweyr. ;)

Elsweyr... but it might be the setting of TES VI.

I expect black marsh to be next years chapter though. Unfortunately DC has a small land mass and most of it is already explored.

Unless its like more of Hammerfel like we are constantly referring to but never visiting in Hew's Bane. The Alikir we visited was Forebear controlled zones while there is a lot more of the desert that is under Crown control.

Black marsh isn’t going to be a chapter. Murkmire is opening up black marsh areas. Word on the street is elsweyr will be the next chapter next year

Argonia is clearly all cerebral. They did the ziggurat civilisation route and for reasons they never manage to explain why they are now so content paddling in mud hut eddies in a swamp. Gorgeously shaped mother earth huts but still. I want Rome, or *** and Gomorrah in the library (Alinor), or failing that, long, languorous afternoons on plush, purple couches trading kaleidoscope eyes with khajiit over a pipe or 3.

Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream

Lay down all thoughts, surrender to the void

It is being, it is being elseweyr.

No one will ever worry about CP levels again.

    No thanks
ESO should never add more playable races.

Skill lines sure why not. But races? No, not necessary. There's a good reason ESO is avoiding that pit.

Disagree completely but thanks for your insight.. Games first and foremost a story driven questing experience, new races and world adds to that.. PvP and Dungeon meta in niche at best..

There is plenty of story with the 10 playable races.
Expand on them. What would be a good idea for a future Elder Scrolls game (or even in ESO) would be creating sub groups for each of the races that the player can join.
Essentially different factions/cultures that players can choose among to bring further variety to the playable races.

For example: If the player picked a Dark Elf they could pick between the Tribunal or Ashlander factions.

Murkmire is adding two argonian factions that are in conflict with eachother.

According to the lore there are various kinds of Khajiit. Imagine if in character creation players could choose a Khajiit that looked like the ones in Skyrim

Don't copy WoW with adding new races, now Blizzard has to keep doing that with expansions in order to hold interest.

Zenimax and Bethesda have stated multiple times that 10 races is enough. Keep it simple.

If you think about it there are only really 3 groups in Elder Scrolls; Men, Mer, Beast
    Humans: Nord, Imperial, Breton, Redguard
    Mer: Altmer, Bosmer, Dunmer, Orsimer
    Beast: Argonian, Khajiit

Yes but more of the same gets boring over time and the game stagnates which is whats happening now, there are plenty of new and refreshing stuff yet to be added to ESO.. Which could and should be added..

Games being held back by balance complaints will die over time. Because customers will get bored and move on.

I tend to like the lamia as a possible race. Yah, they seem to be only female - but unless parthenogenesis, well, there must be males too?

I don’t think the top of Valenwood is open yeah? So if they go with Elswhere they might give us that too. Actually, either will be fine, I wonder if there are more Imga in one place or another? I’d also like Skyrim to be fully open.i was really disappointed they put Falkreath as a dungeon and not a zone I can freely walk around in.

Don't call this one a beast. Maybe only if you are talking about one's prowess in the bed. And still, that's reserved for my partners. Otherwise, this one is quite refined subject.

But if we speak of the next chapter after Summerset*:
It can't be Elsweyr since "Aldmeri Dominion chapter" called Summerset was recently released, it is a bit illogical that a second "Aldmeri Dominion chapter" will be released right after Summerset.

Don't be so sure. The Summerset chapter ends with some indicators pointing towards Elsweyr. Looking at the map, there are hardly any mountains, so I hope it is going to be huge open space.

    1. The game is hardly stagnating
    2. So you would add races as a gimmick to keep the player base interested? That's shallow reasoning. How about we don't copy Warcraft.
    3. You can add plenty of new stuff within the existing races
    4. @Sylvermynx no, Lamias are only Female.

I really don't like Argonians nor have any interest in their lore or civilisation. Cool that people do and stuff but they aren't my cup of tea. :)
