Argonians and Khajiit (and orcs) are my favorite races. I don't know which homeland I would like to see more. Just flip a coin I guess.

    Both.
From what we saw in DB questline, Murkmire is very green, gloomy and dangerous. I want it asap.
On the other hand I was always very interested into seeing all these Khajiit varieties in their own homeland.

I always wanted Alinor (Summerset Isle), Elsweyr and Black Marsh in ESO. My first wish is coming true, the third may not, but we still might get Murkmire (as DLC, not a chapter).

If they decide to go DC again (counting Orsinium as a proto-chapter), we might get Hammerfell.

    QEywH4S.png

Expanding the lands that have been expanded and loaded with so much content seems illogical and wrong, shall I say. If I was a developer I would rather pick another road and release the region which is nearly untouched. We already have three zones within Hammerfell , No? Or four, I am still a newbie.

The next flawless sun soaked candidate on the list! Elsweyr!

I DO agree with you, that's why I voted Elsweyr and wrote "If they decide to go DC again (counting Orsinium as a proto-chapter), we might get Hammerfell"

We got multiple zones in Hammerfell already, also various motifs inspired on Redguard culture. But the least wanted place I want for a chapter will always be Skyrim. TES V, the most recent game in the main series, is already in it. Bethesda also keeps re-releasing the game almost yearly. ESO has two zones in it already, plus dungeon DLCs Skyrim-ish themed.

I wouldn't like a skyrim chapter this early - But I would like one of the quarterly DLCs to be Winterhold in all it's magical glory (maybe with spellcrafting...).

I'd like to see (for chapters): Summerset, Elsweyr OR Black Marsh, Nibenay basin (Cyrodiil), Hammerfell, The Reach (Skyrim), Black Marsh or Elsweyr

With oblivion planes, Solstheim, The Colovian Highlands, and other unfinished bits done in smaller DLCs.

I think this would be a good rhythm of new and nostlagic - as well as each being quite different from the previous chapter.

But to answer the original question... I don't really mind...

    not true at all.

Northern elsweyr is craggy canyons, sand dunes, deserts, and rolling plainslands (more towards reaper's march).

Southern elsweyr is thick forests, thicker jungles, some marshlands, and moonsugar plantations.

Lore wise - Black marsh would be a treat. It's literally nothing we've ever been privy to in the Elder Scrolls universe. I know others have brought up Stormhold blah blah but honestly, the exploration of Black MArsh is a bit of an unknown and purposely omitted aspect of the game.

Hell, even Tiber Septim didnt even go there:

    en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Tiber_Wars#Aldmeri_Realms

"By the time a viable invasion of Morrowind was put into motion (sometime after 2E 882[10]), the Betmeri territories were already conquered. Black Marsh, however, was never successfully invaded,[11] with its strategically unimportant inner swamps carefully avoided by Septim's troops.[12] "

So from that perspective: Black Marsh would seem like a plethora of lore delight. However, I whole heartedly agree with the following poster's statement:
    Lynx7386 wrote: »

And from a marketing real world perspective: that's a wrap. Elseweyr ftw.

i wanted to agree with this until i started thinking too hard. imagine, if it was a Chapter, how HUGE they could make Solitude. fight your way up the Reach and then check out the big city...

or they could do a whole thing, maybe like a Clockwork City-type of DLC, with Winterhold. we could see the city before the cataclysm, and it'd be everybody's next chance to get hyped about spellcrafting.

but i personally hope the next one is more Hammerfell. it feels fair to do DC next, and it's my lately-main's home, and it's the area i know the least lore about. so i guess i should go scroll up and hit the yellow button

Going to go with Elsweyr, but I wouldn't mind Black Marsh (poor Murkmire has been waiting on the back burner LITERALLY for years) I just don't know enough about it to get excited.

That's exactly why we need an Argonian expansion. Most people don't realize how intriguing the swampy jungle can be. Murkmire looks to be an improvement over Shadowfen. Hopefully they could release it with more territory and call it something new.

So many interesting things to see in Elsweyr. The deserts, plains and canyons of Anequina, the rain forests of Tenmar.

As for interesting cities you have Senchal - the largest port city in Tamriel, and also one of the most deadly and dangerous cities due to excessive crime. The old Tsaesci Emporer had a grand palace there too, which I'm sure will be beautiful.

Then you have Rimmen, the least Khajiit-like city, very hostile to outsiders, very lawful but very corrupt, although I'm not sure quite how much so in this time period. Lots of beautiful Akaviri architecture built into the city itself.

And of course the Khajiit themselves are very interesting, depending on how deep into detail they explain their society. It's the only province of Tamriel where society is structured around the sentient inhabitants being bipedal, quadruped, as small and look like housecats, or as big as cat-like mammoths, with the outcome of whatever shape the Khajiit will take being almost random, being based on the phases of the moons.

There's stories that could be told there that wouldn't be possible anywhere else. What is the daily life of an independent Pahmar living in the city? What jobs are available for the small Alfiq that look like housecats? What about the towering Mammoth-sized Senche-raht? How do Alfiq parents raise their Suthay-raht children? Or even worse, Senche-raht children, when they grow to sizes they can't even carry within days or weeks after birth? And we can't forget about the Knehaten Flu that's still raging through most of Elsweyr, that's likely to have a big part in all of it.

Even though ESO uses the most pathetic model for Argonians out of all the ES games I would still like to have a full scale Black Marsh expansion. The first time I played ESO I quickly put together my Argonian Nightblade and when done doing so I started to look at his traits compared to what I had been using in the other games and felt they nerfed the entire race for this game. That aside "Shadowscales Rule."

Also Murkmire (with Gideon settlement within it) was in the works to be something like Craglorn. They decided to postpone it while they do some rework on it. I have a feeling that we might get Mirkmire as a DLC later this year.
Other parts of Black Marsh are dangerous to non Argonians, In the future, even Tiber Septim had difficult time bringing Black Marsh into the fold during the Tiber Wars, it's annexure happened through a treaty.

But anything can happen, High Elves are opening their precious island to tourists, we are going to Artaeum. Anything can happen.

    Elsweyr
I just hope that when they do Elsweyr, they do it right.

Northern Elsweyr: Craggy canyons, deserts, rolling sand dunes, and some plainslands north towards cyrodiil/reaper's march.

Mid/Southern Elsweyr: Transitions from Sparse savannah/grassland/light forest along the northern desert borders to forests, and then thick - almost insurpassable - jungle to the south near Tenmar, this is where the majority of the moonsugar fields are. Further south/southeast, it transitions into a coastline with senchal, a huge port city, at the furthest southeast point.

Major cities to include: Orcrest, Torval (home of the mane, and religious center of the khajiit), Tenmar (primary production area for moonsugar), and Senchal (one of the largest port cities in southern tamriel, and the birthplace of Rahjin the footpad).

Additionally, i want to see at least most of the major subspecies of khajiit represented and modeled/integrated correctly:
Senche-Raht: Quadruped khajiit larger than the current senche mounts (some standing as tall at the shoulder as an altmer is high), intelligent enough to speak and communicate with other khajiit.
Pahmar-Raht: More lithe versions of the quadruped senche-raht.
Dagi/Dagi-Raht: Biped khajiit that are shorter (about wood elf height) and very lithe/gangly; most well known for their tree climbing ability and mastery of magic/spellcraft over other khajiit breeds. Found primarily near tenmar.
Cathay/Cathay-Raht: I think we may actually be playing Cathay khajiit in ESO, but Cathay-Raht are supposed to stand taller than a high elf and are more muscular than a nord, they're the battlecats that should be at the front of the dominion army wielding massive warhammers and swords.
Alfiq: Small house-cat like khajiit with a mastery of spellcraft and extreme cunning.
Ohmes: Near-elflike khajiit that lack fur on most of their bodies, may or may not have tails/feline ears, and often tattoo their faces and bodies in patterns designed to mimic the stripes or spots of other khajiit.
Suthay: Like what we're playing, but with digitigrade legs (aka "reverse knees") and smaller/lither frames.

See those implemented and I'd be happy, even if they're only as NPCs (Though I would absolutely throw my wallet at ZOS if I could turn my current khajiit into some of the other biped species, like the dagi-raht or suthay)

Not just that, but you as the player have the entire range of PC races to role play. With Black Marsh, you're very limited to playing an Argonian if Beth were to be true to the lore. The BM is practically inhabitable, consisting of dank, swampy water (requires extensive water breathing spells/potions), toxic/poisonous gases (bad for human and/or elven skin tissue), and deadly creepy crawlies that love to make you the bottom of the food pyramid. You would literally be confined to the coastal areas and/or areas in southern Cyrodil that were more habitable, assuming you're able to play a non Argononian.

Personally, this would be the first TES title I wouldn't ever care to play. I don't care for lizards irl. The giant flying ones in Skyrim were bad enough and the Argonians always gave my PC hives. LMAO.

So I could never see myself RPing as one. And then there is also that taboo inter racial human - *** factor to consider when dealing with vanilla MQ romances. Like marriage and having HF DLC children etc etc

Call me racist. But I've always had a prejudice for playing human races in TES. Never played beast race and rarely play Mer (with exception of Morrowind). :D
