It is not acceptable that after 3 years you haven't done ANYTHING to protect your loyal customers who are still playing the game under the same rules you gave them, while some guys still believe the game belongs to them, just because they have ESO plus.

Because it seems that CE and ESO plus are the combo to get inmortality and impunity here.

Gotta say, I'm glad that cheating with CE on console is nearly (if not totally) impossible. This is a legitimate mess that has formed on PC!

The fact that ZOS doesn't care to fix it, despite the $$$ and time it'll take, shows they care only for the short term. Losing players because of Dev incompetence is never good for a game.

I stopped believing in ZOS a long time ago, and was never given a reason to care again.

This is an awesome game with a Dev team I hate (besides for a few select Devs).

Imagine if they were like the Warframe Devs where people will buy Platinum aka Crowns just because they love and support the Devs who try their hardest to put forth the best experience and content they can.

There would be a lot less cheating if ZOS actually took care of PvP instead of neglecting it since launch. Part of why people cheat is that they are bored with the game, and the game is so poorly maintained and broken, they say "why not." I am not justifying their behavior, just explaining it. But lets just take it from their own mouths.

LOL Yeah, right. People cheat/exploit because they can, whether it fills any voids in their gaming experience or not. People like in that image simply feel no remorse because they "believe" they have nothing to lose. Doesn't mean they won't stop cheating/exploiting if they DO feel they have something to lose. But then again everyone believes Zenimax does nothing to stop them so they truly do feel they have nothing to lose.

I'm not disagreeing that CE isnt possible still, because idk, but you are going to have to do better then a SS to prove it. One it can be photoshopped and most importantly is when it comes to CE is that it's possible to be nothing more then a ui/visual change.

Exactly. People are doing the same things on consoles now that the PC sees regularly. The "third party" barrier doesn't exist anymore with a little bit of extra work.

People are running macros, health bots, the works. Not as common as PC, obviously but still a thing.

And nothing is done about it. We've reported, submitted tickets with video proof, etc, on players who we clearly witnessed using the gap closer exploit and sending a x-faction friend into the outpost to be the gap close target and taking them without popping them just so they could cut off transit.

The rules are selectively enforced in game, while here, you get posts closed and warning messages for minor infractions while actually addressing real issues is completely neglected and you go ignored.

Personally I haven't seen a single person that was using any sort of macro on PS4, and even if they could how can you prove they are? Hell I haven't even seen a clear case of rubberbanding in a long time!

It's considerably easier to police the forums than it is to police the game. On the forums, it's all about text, while in the game you have to consider mechanics, gameplay, and "the code", all of which need to be investigated to see how the rules are being broken.

Few months ago I said that players need to give time to ZoS to look at this and to detect the players which are cheating.

I am sorry to say that ZoS has not upped their game on detecting the players which are cheating in ESO and this is a big let down to the players of ESO. I don't know who is the anti cheat specialist for ZoS but that person / persons are lacking an understanding of cheat detection, Checking and securing game code.

The issues here is not the players using cheat engine but checking and securing the game code, even if ZoS came up with a way for them to detect players using cheat engine ( which is easy to do ) you are still going to get cheaters using injection or external cheats.

When it comes to detecting cheats and anti cheat I know for a fact that I know more then anyone else posting or works for ZoS, and the way ZoS have been dealing with this is nothing more then a joke

Last night I spawn into Arrius keep, the furthest keep reds have on the map! All seems fine, I run out and get jumped by some blues just past the Arrius lumber mill, so I respawn. Only this time I spawn on the transitus shrine in Arrius to instant death!!!

It turns out the blue emp and some cronies have managed to enter the inner keep and were able to spawn kill any reds respawning/traveling to this keep as it hadn't been flagged. All the adds that defend the flag were already dead, yet the keep hadn't been flagged. How does this even happen!??

Because this may bring embarrassing situations that are being ignored to public light.

You guys should really police your game as hard as you police the forums. Your name is (expletive) outside this forum anyway. Might as well try to fix it in game by hiring actual in game GMs instead of more forum police officers.

We have given ZoS a lot of time to fix this and they have not given an answer. Would they give us our money back if we quit? Probably not.

I would be glad if they take down the severs for a couple of weeks but with the promise they are going to fix the game.

Okay we are supposed to be discussing cheating and exploitation here.
We are not to post video or pictures that name or shame.
I have made my points of where "I feel" there are week points in the game.
I have given video examples that are no longer posted that "I feel" displayed these week points in the game.
I have stayed jovial through out the barrage of insults that were hurled at me.
Now that most of what I have posted has been removed and there is not much to talk about because anything I might post would be eliminated I will leave you with this last thought.

    I pay for my game.
    I pay for my subscription.
    I buy crowns.
    I follow the rules.
I lead a very successful guild.
I help new players when they start in the game.
I pay to have a top notch website for my guild members.
When the time comes I will pay to have a guild hall for my members.
I sacrifice nearly 40 hours a week building and improving things for my guild members.
I do all these things not because I am getting paid to do so but because I love the game and the community I have helped to form here.

My questions are these and I challenge any developer or official individual to the companies which my money goes to to answer them each.

Do I blame the people who are making the cheats that are ruining my experience in the game?
Do I blame the players who are the first to use the cheats that are ruining my experience in the game?
Do I blame the players who are influenced to use the cheats by people who started using the cheats in the game?
Do I blame the guilds that were formed around the cheats and exploits in the game?
Do I blame the people who play the game for profit?
Do I blame the trolls who insult me while I try to get my point across about how I feel about all this?
Do I blame the person who heads up the team that leads the development of the parts of the game where all this is going on?
Do I blame the person who erases everything I post because somehow it is "hurting" people who most likely do care about the game at all?
Do I blame the head programmer for leaving too many open ends in the programming of the game allowing all the exploits and cheats?
Do I blame the project lead for not having more over-site over the rest of the teams?
Do I blame the company/individual who is putting money in their pocket not seeming to care about what the consumer is saying?

And of course the resounding end question that anyone who has ever been in business should be asking themselves daily.

    Have I been responsible?

Please note no where in this whole post have I pointed anyone out by name. Nor have I been insulting. Nor have I said anything hurtful. There are no videos, pictures or accusations.

I agree. Z0$ has made it crystal clear about refusing to address issues and squander time and resources in censorship of players for damage limitation incase any new player reads and doesnt buy the game and/or alot of players having faith that game is fair and they are on an even playing field.

If Z0$ doesnt even fix the bugs that players spend time to uncover on the PTS before it hits LIVE, how could anyone think they are proactive in improving ESO.

I created a damn website for people to talk about it, I got about 50 video submissions of the same people and then people stopped using it, so I stopped making it, people like to talk a lot of *** about not liking cheaters, but they want someone else to do something about it.

The thing is, if you don't like cheating, you are going to have to stop it people. You are going to have to vote with your wallets and your social voices and literally force them to do something.

I'm not someone special by any means, but you see what one person with a clear and decisive goal can do? I was very upset about gap closing into keeps, I got video, I made a clear request to talk about it, they are now bannable offenses.

This is not new ideas, this is just how it works. They don't want to fix hard things, they want to work on easy thing, you have to force them to do the things they don't want to do.

I'm sure they are upset about people being upset, but their actions against cheating, the very nature of how this program communicates with the server, begs for people to exploit it.

Complaining on their forums where they control everything will do very little, get out there and make it happen, or walk away, which is just as powerful.

As long as we keep logging in and playing, while complaining, the complaint holds little water.

Why is this up to us? Because no one else will do it.
Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.

Something new is definitely up on PS4, there have been way too many unkillable players showing up lately.
When a player can dance emote as 3 fire ballistas and multiple other players hit him at the same time it is more than your skilled healer tank.

You would expect to see their health bar dip then refill if they were healing but in this case the bar never even dips at all.

My hats off to you good tanks but something is rotten here.
