Um, ZOS has stated that they are planning to add training dummies when Player Housing launches. So yes, they do care about this.

And it's abundantly clear that Ninglenel is an unintended bug.

So, no, they're not doing an evil cackle as they gleefully remove Ninglenel to spite us. They're just fixing a legitmate bug that really does need be fixed--eventually. All we're asking is for them to unfix and overlook this glaring bug for a few more months until Housing comes along.

It's ludicrous and unhelpful to attribute malicious intent.

The simplest solution - if they really want to delete this npc - would be just to add few training dummies, for example to alliance gate areas in Cyrodiil (somwhere nerby siege training/tutorial). No immersion breaking, no whining, no problem.

What is the point of removing it? They should spend their time on actually implementing training dummies instead of removing our only, easily accessible one.

And the reason is...this can't be! This must be the reason of Cyrodiil lags! That's why they are removing him!
I mean, come on people, it can't be AOE caps, lightning patch, botting patch, los patch, stat inflation patch, or even moving eu megaserver to Europe.

Instead of pushing for a bugged NPC to use as a Target dummy, why don't we push for you know... ACTUAL target dummies? The Fighter's Guild outposts all over the map have dummies that could be converted into Target Dummies. Or they could just add in new ones (Possibly with housing like previously mentioned).

I just think the time and energy trying to get a bugged NPC back could go into something actually worthwhile, like the real thing.

I can't seem to fathom how this is immersion breaking. I really can't, I can understand some things but really, this I sort of draw the line at. To me it sounds like an excuse.

And I don't see them reverting the change, I would be pleasantly surprised and glad if they did but I honestly can't see it happening.

Of course we'd like a proper dummy instead. And one is coming... with Player Housing.

So, what's better? A quick code revert that probably takes less than half an hour to unfix the Ninglenel bug. Or wait several months for Player Housing to arrive?

Use SWTOR as an example. They were in your own instance, you could customize their amount of health, level, and resistance. They also had public ones all over the damn place.

I didn't even know its existance, but I agree there should be something to test your dps on /sign
