I agree with you such a wasted effort on taking "Ninglenel" out of the game that has no other impact but being a DPS dummy for Rotations an damage output .this is the kinda *** that pisses me off focus on bugs like Grouper Finder Que and DLC conflicting with ESO plus that should be top priority. on the other hand player housing is incoming but a long time from now if there going to put in test dummy i see ZOS turning this to their benefit where crowns are involved purchase tests dummy at 5000 crowns....

I agree with the dps dummy, but I think I know why they dont have this yet, and why they removing this current npc bug.

They mentioned in pax that they had some plans with dummies in the same patch as housing.
My bet is this dummy will be in the crown, part of some house decoration thing.
They will make so much money on this! Thats the reason. To earn money. Everything they do. Statistic. If they can earn slightly more money by bringing casual players pug prison, they nerf it and dont care about quality.

It is mind-boggling to me that I have over 5,000 hours in this game and probably 1/4 of it has been spent DPS testing on Bloodspawn. That is time I can't get back, nor can the healer and tank I drag into Spindleclutch with me time after time, and yet we're "wasting time and effort" to remove something like this that is actually a help to those of us who play an MMO and wish to work hard at making sure our DPS is as good as it can be for the whole group we run content with.

MY IMMERSION

While I respect people's willingness to play solo and enjoy their game, it shouldn't come at the cost of other people's fun and enjoyment either. Some people like me and many others LOVE testing DPS. I'm not the best at it nor anywhere close but constantly seeking improvement in this game combats is what keeps me coming back, its definitely not Cyrodiil lag.

PLEASE if you agree with this, leave a comment even /sign, share on Facebook, Twitter, the public bathroom at Seven Eleven anywhere. We need either this back in the game or an alternative solution for solo DPS testing.

I'm tired of dragging 3 friends to Blood Spawn for hours at a time, help me ZOS you're my only hope.

(PS I'm willing to pay crowns for this time of thing in game, I don't care just give me something similar or put it back)

There was a previous NPC in eastmarch that you could glitch onto a rock and DPS test. It was HOTFIXED.

Yeah you read that correctly. Hotfixed. Like the thing ZOS doesn't even do for game breaking exploits or item dupe bugs.

I don't know what ZOS doesn't want us to learn about their combat system but between this and some API changes it seems like we are being kept intentionally in the dark.

I use it from time to time to test rotations etc, having this guy removed really sucks.

Something to help players perfect rotations and tweak builds is not only a benefit but a down right requirement. The idea that this breaks immersion is noted, but many other ways of giving us this test dummy without breaking immersion are possible. Leave us this benefit please until those new methods can be implemented.

I honestly couldn't care less about the lack of a DPS dummy, but this guy is just fantastic for practising rotations with and nothing comes close currently.
