While I don't love the idea of a crowd of 133t endgame players mobbing up this town to beat the crap out of the NPC, Deltia makes a completely valid point that there should be some kind of DPS-test dummies.

I can get behind that part for sure!

I didn't know this guy existed until now, but they should definitely keep him. People can defend "you shouldn't know your own dps because that leads to elitism/player exclusion" all they want, knowing your own dps only benefits you. And what better way to find out than to test it?

Come on, ZOS. We ask you to keep one NPC that is not breaking the game in any way and which only makes things easier for us. If it breaks people's immersions, just move him out of the way to a slightly less visible place.Tagging @ZOS_GinaBruno in hope of getting a reply.

Are you kidding? I cannot believe ZOS is willing to remove this immensely useful tool. Not only that..... they won't even tell us or add a replacement elsewhere.

Instead of fixing bugs within the game you are instead going to *** off every high DPS endgame trial runner!

You kidding me right? People have asked less rng, pvp lag fix, class balance, ect ect. And all of our pleas has been ignored. Even from player like @Sypher or @FENGRUSH Had poured their heart out trying to fix this game. What make you, @Deltia think that you can get them to add a test dummy? Why should they listen to you, where they never listen to us? What about the state of this game? I'm not hating here. Just a sincere question.

I mean a lot of what Zos do is unacceptable. Pvp being the most disgraceful, and you're telling me that you not having a dps dummy for seeing that huge dps number is "Unacceptable." To you? I'm sorry, but this shouldn't be their top priority. I'll be angry if it did because if you can convince them for a stupid test dummy. You can convince them to fix this game. I doubt they listen to you. They never listen to us anyway.

He's not asking to add a test dummy.....

I'm not Deltia, but I think the difference was that this "test dummy" in question is a single (unkillable) NPC already in-game. ZOS chose to take a whole one minute to fix that, and can easily revert it even faster. Ninglenel allowed people to solo test their DPS and is a pretty important and fun feature for a ton of endgame players.

No one thinks Cyrodiil balance/lag problems are good, but a lot more work goes into fixing those long term issues. ZOS literally cannot fix it fast because they broke it so badly over the course of (according to PC players) a "lighting/anti-bot" patch.

The time and effort ZOS must put forth to alter this NPC takes.... like a minute. Were asking ZOS to leave this alone since player housing test dummies are way too far off from now.

How have I never heard of this punching bag? I've always felt my long-parse tests on bosses weren't totally accurate because I had to bother with petty things like "healing myself" and "avoiding the red circles".

I don't know why you do. I don't. I unsubbed after my 77th vMA run without a single one of the four Maelstrom weapons I wanted. It's been ~200 runs since then. Quitting with DB, unless there's a drastic change, but I wouldn't hope for it. You should check out Black Desert.

The only reason they did it is to create the need to buy housing and with it the combat dummies. What is the reason for forbidding us from having it at the moment I do not know...

Did you even read or watch the OP video before wasting time writing an unrelated comment?

This thread is not about adding dps dummies, it's about the fact that ZOS seems to be willing to spend resources (even the smallest amount) to remove our best alternative.

p.s the fact that you personally couldn't care less about tools for PvE, doesn't mean no one does

The point is, if Zos never listened to anyone at all, why should they listen to Deltia? Yes, it take 1 minute to do it, but use your headmeat for once. They won't do it. No matter how much you beg them to. This thread won't work, and I'll be damned if it did.

at the very least let it stay untill you have your dummys for sale, the worst thing you could do is take it away and we have no where to test our dps untill the next DLC following DB DLC,. WHen will that be? 3 more months ? So what will we do ?
We will be even more pissed off!!! Dont get me started on the Scath Mage RNG farming we need to do!!! Those shackle chests are a joke. Almost every single time I get 150 Shackles i open chest 1 armor pc is well fitted. Pretty sure its been 100% of the time. Well fitted. FIx that while you give us Ninglenel back!!
