    Hmm. Interesting patch notes, to say the least.

    About the only thing I take issue with, especially since I'm mostly a PvE player, is the fact that I believe shields are getting hit too hard. From 20 seconds to 6 seconds? Good God. That's too much ZOS. Please reconsider this, as it's going to have a massive ripple effect in the PvE community — and I suspect this change was made primarily to benefit PvP-centered players.

    Is there a way to implement the shield duration change so it only takes effect in Cyrodiil and the Imperial City? You already have the ability to change certain stats when players enter those zones, so why not also make it apply shields when only in those areas of the game?

    OVERVIEW

    You’ll keep all your hard-earned attribute and skill points you received from gaining Veteran Ranks, and new players will instead earn them while leveling up to level 50.

    You will receive 2 points every level that ends in a 5
    You will receive 3 points every level that ends in a 10
    You will continue to get 1 point for levels 2-49

    So... For Vet16, it's ok... we will not loose our 15 skill points / attibutes points.

    But what about players who won't have reach Vet16 rank, but vet5 or vet12 (for example) the D-day ?

    (sorry, don't have read all reply... may be the question is already asked).

    Really - Why an overall reduction? Theres plenty of other dungeons that are easy.... have a wide spectrum from easy mode to pro mode. This binary way of thinking - on off challenge = normal / vet challenge is just elementary / novice, and now you guys dumbed it down in further.

    You are in the minority of people going to be hurt by this. Take your stacked groups and go do Vet Trial content?

    First off we are talking about 4 man dungeons, thats the issue. Having a "go do Vet trial content" doesnt resolve the issue. The issue is not about vet trials.

    There is a big difference with getting 12 people together vs 4 people together.

    Having 4 man group dungeons that are both challenging for both casual AND hardcore players will cover the issue, make most of the player population happy.

    Go do vet trials is like me telling you go do normal ICP or normal WGT.

    Ok u buffed all stamina it is really ok they were needed that..
    -u buffed skills pasive ones also u dedicate all fighters Guild to them ok..
    -u even give them poison thats also ok...
    -u gave them many skill morph thats ok of course ...
    -u again gave them many power buffs thats ok again...


    BUT,
    why the nerf to magicka skill
    why the nerf duration of Hardened Ward AND Harness Magicka
    why the nerf Detonation
    Why the taking away Nirnhoned from us....


    Hey ZOS why while ua re building something u need to destroy another....

    NO paying For ESO+ anymore even maybe leave playing...U are really bad about BALANCING...it does not mean make 3month magicka powerfull after make 3 month stamina powerful and go on lile this...

    I JUST hope to play this game and again hope u to take back those nerf...Till then wait for the next DLC maybe u fix what u are destroying now.... So if this changes still stand like this the ACTUAL PATCH come i will rest to see what will happen on next DLC....

    As a fan I like the patch notes.
    As an MMO player I don't.

    Is this is an online multiplayer game right? Where is the new group/multiplayer contents?

    I like the DB, one or two week single player content, it is good, but after it? Wait for 3 month what will happen.

    This is not good. ZOS do great job, what they do is good, but they do it very damn slowly. How many employee at ZOS? 50? It seems few ppl, very few. Idk what happens, 4 few, small contents / year, that is not enough for an MMO.

    A 20 years-old game series, this is something, Bethesda don't ruin pls that series, hire more employee and do what need to do.

    Where is the team that said want to do an AAA MMO game with every six week patches? Ok, this is not a monthly fee game anymore, but why we need to say goodbye to AAA? There are only few MMO on the market that can be hold monthly fee model, why? It is simple: big and frequent updates.

    In my vision every DLC would be like this:
    - new single player elements like DB now
    - new group contents
    - new pvp elements
    - rebalance, rework if something not ok (like Hew's Bayne, Craglorn empty)

    Every player base need something new with every DLC, do not leave us hungry.

    If I like only play in group, why need w8 for 6 month for next group countent.
    If I like only play PVP why need to w8 for much more time to new pvp content.
    If I like only single player elements I do not care pvp and gourp contents then this is my game.

    If you say you can rework craglorn for solo friendly but we will not get group content because of that, then we say craglorn is ok now :)
    If you say you will do housing but we will not get group content because of that, then we say this game don't need housing.
    If you say we will get festivals, in-game events, but we will not get group content because of that, we say this is good without in-game events.
    If you say rework old group contents that we did very often, but becouse of that we don't get new group contents, then we will say the old group contents good enough :)

    I like a lot here. What i don't like is not be able to harvest certain runes. Some people want to buy, other want to harvest, just make it both please. Or don't change.

    Still vague on: When you are anywhere from v1-v16 do you just 'get' the extra skill/attribute points? Because i see no other way to earn them otherwise.

    Also: Is poison equippable on all weapons? It does not make sense to me to equip it on staves, you have no physical contact with the target so how do you poison them exactly? Like shoot clouds of poison? That sounds more like a aoe skill.

    The patch notes seem to be fixing a lot of issues that people were complaining about , so kudos for that :)

    The only issue i have is with the Trapping webs skill from the Undaunted skill line. Could you please make 1 of the morpfhs scale of magika and use it as a resource ? The sorcerer class has no spam skill like the templars or NBs ( dont know anything about DKs ) have in their innate trees , so it would be greatly appreciated if you could leave 1 of the morpfs of this skill for the magika users that don't want to rely on a staff.

    As a last note , i am a bit confused as to why have the timers for the shields changed ? Anulment now basically does what Hardened ward does and both of them last only for 6 seconds ? Could you please explain the reasoning behind the modification of the times that the shields stay up ?

    They cannot be harvested anymore; all Enchanting runestones now give Aspect and Essence. You can still get them by deconstructing glyphs, though, but the main way is to just buy what you need from a vendor.

    This seems to me an unnecessary change that unduly punishes crafters who would rather gather their mats rather than just buy them.

    Cautiously optimistic. I love the patch notes. I love that you're clearly listening to the community (<3 trial scaling) if you can avoid a bug filled release like TG had I think this patch could put the game back on track to greatness. Keep it up!

    Lower Spell Crit is only available currently on White Cap and Nirnroot. If you plan to change it to no longer be on White Cap then it can no longer be learned as a trait on Nirnroot and will affect the Botonist and Nirnroot-specific achievements making them unable to be completed.

    If you're truly going to remove the effect off White Cap then you need to add it to another plant or remove it from Nirnroot (and the entire game) as well.

    They are adding new reagents, of which Butterfly Wing gives Lower Spell Crit.

    Damn, now I gotta farm vFungal for the optimal medium helmet now.

    It's unavailable until you get certain undaunted level. Also Igneous Shield doesn't require synergy and gives you Major Mending, which is very good. I just don't see why they would decrease the duration. It's not overpowered at all. Now I'm forced to do damn daily dungeons (which I hate) just to get bone shield -.-.

    It is a bit of a problem, I don't play a DK but I regularly play WITH a DK who is one of my friends, and the Obsidian Shield was absolutely invaluable in group PvE because of its duration. Now it is not going to be so useful.

    I'd be fine with 6-8 ward on self, and I never played those ugly, clunky pets, but I think the shield the pet receives could have stayed at 20s.

    You have to use a Nord-style staff. With a poison-spitting serpent head.

    Oh.... Whelp maybe I am wrong but that change to wrecking blow just made Stam Sorc a lot worse in pvp, unless they provide another reliable melee range stun.

    Any morph of Rune Prison.
    Honestly, I have been using Defensive Rune until now, but I think I'll switch to Rune cage with the DB DLC.
    Draining people of all their stam, then applying a s*** ton of dots on them> Rune Prison FTW.

    Not even that, you should be able to unlock it just doing the normal dungeons for the skill points.

    Core mechanics (sprint, dodge, block, CC break) will now be slightly more expensive.

    I would have like to read something like this just behind :

    * Light Armor : slightly decreased relative cost
    * Heavy Armor : slightly increased relative cost

    To keep light armor more fragile but make it more useable to dodge (and the opposite for heavy armor). You removed gender for a "realistic" matter didn't you ? Why not doing the same for "athletism" ?

    On my VR15 transfer, I noticed I only had 63 attribute points in use. I never got the final one, but after visiting a shrine to refund all attributes, I had 64 to spend.
