Height limit of houses.

Tried google and asked around but it was to no avail so last option is to ask the great people here if there is a list of the various houses with their height limit somewhere? I'd even settle for something generic.

Have some projects in mind that require quite a bit of height, and all the houses vary so much with their build borders there is no way to know which ones will fit when previewing.

I don't know of any. There have been discussions of some of the houses regarding height and invisible walls. I have seen a few housing videos in which height was explored. If no source shows up, perhaps visit PTS server to test the houses you are interested in.

That's a bummer. Had hoped I wouldn't need to use PTS or somesuch. Slightly surprising someone in the community hasn't made any elaborate research about the houses building borders yet, since they vary so much from house to house.

Maybe something to do if I bother download the PTS

If you don't want to use the PTS, you can also try asking a friend in game who already owns the house if they are willing to let you have temporary decorator permission so you can test it with the addon Magic Carpet. Running around the borders on MC is probably the most efficient way to test the boundaries, and as long as you have decorator perms and your friend puts one of the items that works for MC down, you can use MC in another person's house.

Some people definitely test this stuff but I don't think it's all neatly chronicled in the one place.

I know that the psijic manor height limit is just a bit lower than the building. You can't obscure the horrid pinnacles or get high enough to reach the top of the taller waterfall.

It would be very quick to find the height limit yourself on the PTS. You just need some long ramp type structures - super cheap to buy - and build as high as you can.

If you don't already have the PTS downloaded though and doing that would be a pain for you, you may want to wait. In their big reveal the other day they mentioned that they're doing a series of optimizations for the game client, including PTS, which will at some point require all players to download the game fresh.

This is happening this Monday on the PTS.
