Ideas on how to Create a Piano?

Hello fellow housing nerds! I was wondering if there are any of you that have any ideas on what furniture combos would make a convincing piano? I'm not worried about the keys (too item intensive) so i'm looking for more of a closed piano that still says "hey! I'm a piano!". Anyway, feel free to leave your ideas/thoughts here.

If you are on PC, it would be relatively simply to make a 3D piano out of FX... even the keys!

Base game decor... maybe the back of wardrobes or bookcases sunk into the floor and against the wall for the back, with a bookrest to hold an open book for music, a couple of wall bookshelves or clockwork panels for a closed key shelf, and a couple of vases, stacked thin part to thin part for decorative posts to hold the key shelf, or clockwork posts for something less decorative. you could do the pedals with the corners of clockwork posts sticking out of the back of the shelf/wardrobe so it looks like a thin pipe/line and attach anything pedal-shaped to the bottom of them on the floor - I am betting bottoms of vases, candleholders, or maybe something from the workshop->tools category would work for that.

Here's a basic pianino prototype, I hope it helps

You could play around a lot with other items that suit your tastes better and fit your vision of what you'd want a pianino to look like! With a bit more tweaking and added pipes, this shape could easily pass as an organ too.

The tables and benches that make up the shape could be easily substituted for different styles (such as Breton), or even replaced with counters (the base could use only 2 slots rather than 4 that way, since counters have sides too).
You may also arrange the items differently so the tables are in line with the benches instead of protruding (I liked the base a bit wider though it isn't typical for most pianinos).
If you want your keyboard to overhang instead of being supported by a base, you could use shelves or certain counters/tables instead of the Breton bench.
The pedals could be made of any cookware with a handle, or even some creative use of half-sunken bread sticks

You could model it after a harpsichord or an upright piano as those are boxy.

@Nestor Yes i was thinking of the upright pianos but can't come up with the right item combo that really sells it as a piano.

The UESP site, Furnishing section, will help you find the boxes and trunks to stack together. I would link it for you but my phone updated my browser and now sharing links is a complete PITA.

Any they have pics of what is sold in game for gold and for crowns. Much easier to browse there than in game.

Great idea using books as the keys. The overlapping Alinor furniture makes it look so intricate. What are the foot pedals?

They are three of the alinor bronze urns upside down so that just one of the feet pokes out

Would be nice, wouldn't it?

In fact, I would like to make a music room, at some point (in a conservatory type room), so it would be good to have all the musical instruments that are available ingame available as furnishings, too.

Plus a few more, ideally - like a piano, a violin and a cello, for example.
