It has low crit. Why? You used it on backbar? It should be higher dmg actually, more than embers.

crazy how ZOS went and buffed all the dots. it's almost like they made an expansion recently with a new class that has a passive that buffs damage over time and they are hoping these damage over time buffs create the necessary pay wall need to buy expansions to roll said new class.
but that just sounds laughably outlandish. no way that could be the reason for this.
"Many Damage over Time abilities, both single target and Area of Effect, have been re-standardized to follow similar behaviors to other ability types. Area of Effect DoTs will now be 33% weaker than a single target DoT counter-part and cost 30% more, just like direct damage AoEs vs single target ones."

Dumbest thing I've ever heard. Do the math before you come to the forums.
27k dot over 12 seconds = 2,250 per second for 12 seconds
After Battle Spirit = 1,125
After CP effecting Dots and Magic Damage you're looking at a pretty weak dot compared to other skills in the game. If you're getting destroyed by entropy, reconsider playing this game.
Siphon in particular is 12s and has a tooltip about 10% lower than Entropy, which is also 12s. Kind of a weird change.
Also the nerf to fiery breath has reduced it's damage to about half of these dots, which will be mitigated even more by major evasion. I don't really understand this change either because it was already one of the weakest dots in the game. If I had to guess, they want us to use some of these new dots over our class abilities, which is stupid if you care about class identity, but this whole patch is.. lol.

fiery breath is a aoe dot, that buffs all your fire damage by 10%.
you might be confused thinking all dots are the same. they are not. ZoSs vision is aoe dots cost 30% more then single target dots and are 33% weaker than single target dots. in that context, it is not really a conspiracy that entropy, reach and soul trap are that much stronger singer target, that is just the games design.

If it's anything like vampsbane off Templar, 3-4k every 2s turns into 2000 with just battlespirit alone. With minor maim= 1680, 20% thick skin= 1344, 10% ele defender = 1209, 10% armor after avg penetration = 1088, and finally minor protection= 1000.
1k DMG ever 2s against the most basic of setups is hardly Op lol. You know better than to play with the other tooltip warriors, enzo lol.

soul trap hits three targets, not one
Consuming Trap (morph): This morph will now restore 20% of your Health, Magicka, and Stamina, up from 10%, when a target affected dies. The tooltip will state the actual return to help you visualize the weight of its true power.
