    Entropy and Soul Trap. They're about twice as good as class abilities at this point. I guess this is homogenization? Everyone has soul trap and entropy on their bar? :neutral:

    From some quick testing it's pretty much in line with other ST DoTs, especially when you look at it per second. It doesn't have the up front hit you get from cripple, vampire's etc. or the bonus damage from swarm.

    The fact that it is a generally accessible DoT also helps ensure all magicka classes have options.

    I hope soul trap doesnt get nerfed lol, I replaced caltrops with it. It helps with sustain alot since it costs magic.

    Claw has a direct damage part. Add that to the dot part and the damage is about the same. Also doesn't claws damage go up 12% per tick?

    27k/12 seconds is 2.2k a second. Check your wall, I bet it does 1.5k damage per tick. Which would be 18k over 12 seconds, or exectly the 33% less DPS single target, like they said they wanted.

    Good for magdks for example you can stop using the hot garbage that is Eruption with this Patchs changes. Gonna suck for magplar since you Need shards for Burning light and Barrage for the empower.

    And now you complain ? I don't get it.

    If ZoS give me a new strong heal skill to replace Grand healing, I'll be happy.
    So, don't complain plz, at least DPS have possibility to still be effective.

    Good Lord. You still have to have leveled the skill line at least once. You are basically just paying to not have the find books for 4-6 hours after then. Sad you feel this is somehow bad.

Right now on my mag necro I don't have a class skill that does more damage per gcd than reach, entropy, or soul trap, meaning these three dots will now be part of my rotation no matter what. It's completely crowding out any class skills, which are weak in comparison.

    From what I can see, you'll be stacking ST abilities to get maximum ST damage and AoE skills for AoE.

    There are some outliers but it definitely looks like more specialised setups for specific scenarios.

    Not really, calltrop and endless hail was the exact same thing for stam DPS.
    Mandatory no-class skill doing more than any other class skill.

    Now magicka class got 2 of them too. Be happy, Magicka will not be weaker than stam anymore (or gap will be lower).
