Stop ranting and blaming ZOS because you are having trouble with accessing the game through Steam. This makes about as much sense as console people complaining about double-dipping subscription fees because Sony forces them to pay twice to play this game. It's not ZOS's fault you chose a proprietary conduit to play ESO, and now you're getting hosed for that choice. That choice was your choice. The difficulties you're facing are not at all the difficulties anyone else who purchased the game normally through Zenimax have at all.... These are EXCLUSIVELY YOUR problems.

Hallo,
Jennifer

How about, stop playing ESO through a 3rd party software? Got friends on steam? Ok, do they need to see you are playing ESO? Just play the game through ESO launcher alone (or unlink acc) and you can talk to your steam friends anyway.

You can't play through the ESo launcher alone if you bought the game from Steam after 2016. Steam HAS to log you in or you get an error message. If people could log in manually, don't you think they would?
And the account can not be unlinked. The only option at the moment seems to be to buy a new copy of the game from ZoS directly, and I am REALLY not inclined to give them any more money at the moment.

Can't you right click the game in steam and see your game code? I remember you can do that, and maybe use that key somehow , IF Zo$ will allow you to "unlink" and play without steam.

My game works fine and i play eso through steam. so idk who's fault it's
Several 100,000 people log into the game without steam every day with no problems so I find it hard to believe it's all on zos
Other games may be fine on steam, that's comparing apples to oranges, they are different games
I find it more plausible it's a combination of both but they just keep pointing fingers at each other instead of dealing with the problem
