You do crafting writs, there is a chance a master writ will be in the container.

My master writs seem be be opened automatically - is there some way to prevent this and can they be banked? I have several max crafters, but only my main knows all styles and I'd prefer to pass the master writs to him.

Is this even possible?

Well, one writ made up for everything.

After about the 160th writ, noticed I had a master writ in my quest log to complete a rubedite greatsword, nirnhoned, legendary, Dark Brotherhood.

Received 263 vouchers!

The praxis is 125 vouchers, but you also need to buy the animus with vouchers.

The robust skelly (6 million health v. 3 million for normal) is 200 vouchers.

So far, no comments from @ZOS_GinaBruno on the forums here as to what is going on, no response to my support ticket, the only ones that have responded is the subscription processing group when I told them why I didn't renew.

I'm also thinking that something is broken with master writ drops.I got only 1 writ worth 6 vouchers on my main who has every trait researched and missing only a couple of motifs meanwhile on my alt who's just a PvP hero nothing researched and only knows 2 motifs I got 2 master writ,one worth 13 vouchers and one 82 vouchers.

Yes, list them in guild store then cancel so it goes to your mail box and then grab on your main

I have some questions about these master writs. Do they drop from the writ boards or are they found in the urns you get from completing writs? Also, I understand you can trade/sell them. Where in the stores are they located? I searched many stores last night with Master Merchant and could not find them. Thank you.

They randomly come from normal writs, the more motifs / max crafting / traits i heard has better chances of them dropping but still rng.

You can list them in stores yes and they're under consumeables > master writ tab for me

My second through fourth master writs. Done over 72 writs now on characters of various crafting proficiency:

Possible total of 63 vouchers had I done all 5 I've gotten thus far taking into account the 47 writ voucher I posted in this thread earlier. One has Yokudan Helmets as a requirement, though, which neither of my master crafters knows.

Select "Goodbye" if you do not want to do the writ on that character, you can then put it in your bank to transfer to another character. It's confusing as you will hear people say writ vouchers cannot be banked, it's the vouchers you get as a reward that this is referring to, they're not bankable like telvar, the actual writ can be banked.

While I'm far away of the voucher amount I need, I think the drop rate could be almost appropriate (more data is needed).
But as far as I understand it, they should be worth something as well as the items you buy. If everyone gets 300+ vouchers a day they will become very fast worthless (or almost, as you still have to waste gold mats).

Going to watch for a week or two until I have more data available to judge the drop rate / rng.

FYI, trying to spread the info. Dont post these in traders. They are randomly converting to the Deadly Strike set which is non-craftable, thus making them worthless.
