If u stoped ur "subscription" WHY?
I cancelled my sub when they announced Imperial City as a paid DLC.
- Imperial City was supposed to be the final piece of ESO's PvP. By making it a paid DLC, it could not be an integrated part of that PvP experience.
- Imperial City was supposed to have access gated based on your alliance's performance in Cyrodiil. Because it was paid DLC, they couldn't implement gated access because they'd be shutting you out of something you'd paid for. (They did try it, but that didn't last long.)
- Imperial City was supposed to have an impact on the Campaign scoring and the gameplay in Cyrodiil. Because it was paid DLC, they couldn't make that connection because it would be something that also affected those players without the DLC (ie, being affected by things you have no control over, which is bad).
- Imperial City was supposed to have an involved District Control system which involved the Daedra as one of the interested parties, and to capture a district you had to enter small PvP-enabled Coldharbour dungeons. District Capture was eventually added, but in a severely reduced capacity which is just a repeat of the flag mechanics (and associated zerging tactics) seen at Cyrodiil resources.
- Imperial City was supposed to have 4 or 5 daily quests per district, and another 6 in the Sewers. That's around 30 repeatable quests. The questing that we ended up with is barely a shadow of what it could have been, and 6 dailies in total is not really enough to keep you going. (To be fair though, the story is pretty good. But the fact that you need a group for almost half of it is quite irritating.)
Cancelled mine this morning, although it's a six month cycle which renewed a couple of weeks ago so I have some time left to see if things change before losing ESO+ perks.
First reason: the shambles which is the cheat engine issue.
Second reason: @ZOS_MattFiror saying there are no hardcore ESO players. I know it was not his intent, but that's pretty damn insulting to the people like myself who have been here since the start.
Also just to show I'm not bluffing.

Of course that is true for the non-DLC portion, but then to be able to get into Wrothgar and Hew's bane (and now DB), you have to subscribe. I know you don't have to.. but, that is not the point. Normally for a good game, such as this, you would drop the extra money and get the DLC. However, unlike this game, other games' DLC are normally a one-time purchase. To experience the most out of ESO and Tamriel, you would need to get all the DLC. So, overall, ESO is technically subscription required. I find that funny because there is no mention of a required subscription for the DLCs when you first buy the main game. I guess.. unless you have the time and dedication to properly research beforehand.
I don't quite understand what you mean here. All of the ESO dlc's are one time purchases as well. Don't you have to buy all the available DLC's in any game to experience the most out of said game?

But you don't have to sub to get the DLC. You have the choice to pay a one time fee for the DLC and have it forever or you can sub and have access to the DLC as long as you remain subbed. So they still stay true to the "No Subscription Required" model.
Also, I am keeping my sub as long as I am having fun in the game. Yes it sucks they supposedly let the cheaters back in the game but I am not going to let that effect me. I am still going to go on about my business and just have fun.
If, however, there are people who genuinely believe that ZOS have done nothing but lied to them and cheated them since the game was launched then why on earth are those people still around?

Pizza Hut is not able to make pizza. I don't know what you think about the abominations you can buy there. But it's not pizza at all. Eat some real ones.

We will be re-opening that thread, or posting a new one, in the future so discussion can resume. We will hopefully have more information to share at that time.

You would do better job sending the news to ZOS directly. Not that it makes a difference but you are their customer so it concerns them more than the forum community..
I also miss a point of people posting on a "why I unsubbed" thread anything else than "why I unsubbed" posts.

Because these people have absolutely no life. It's why they sit on forums all day and rage at the developers and one another.
I just realized that if I don't pay sub - I lose access to all DLCs, so I started buying them. Now at this point, after buying 3 of them, subbing would make no sense too now or in future because I already spend so many crowns on buying DLCs that why would I want to pay for access to them?
